chappytsum
On the first day of my trip to Nemuro, I passed through Kushiro and arrived in Akkeshi. One of the purposes of my solo trip this time was to "drive on Route 142". It may sound quite geeky, I know (;一_一) Route 142, also known as the Nemuro Hamanaka Kushiro Line, connects Nemuro, Hamanaka, and Kushiro. While National Route 44, which also connects Nemuro and Kushiro, mainly runs inland, Route 142 runs along the coast. I had heard that the coast between Kushiro and Nemuro has many cliff areas, so I thought I could take some great photos. But to my disappointment, it was so boring!! (;一_一) The route mainly runs through the forest with lots of curves and steep slopes, making it impossible to speed up. In the midst of this, I stopped by the "Sekineppu Observation Plaza". Sekineppu, written in kanji as "賤夫向", is a completely unreadable name. In fact, along Route 142, there are many difficult-to-read place names, such as "Urakumadomari (Pontomari)" and "Wakacharase". These names are hard to read at first sight because they are forced interpretations of Ainu language into kanji. For more details, please google "Route 142". By the way, if you use chappytsum, Sekineppu can be interpreted as "Sekine fart". Just a little joke!! (laughs) Next, I visited the "Akkesi Fishery Cooperative Direct Sales Store". Since I was in Akkeshi, I definitely wanted to eat oysters! I wasn't really craving oysters that much, but since I had made the effort to come to Akkeshi, I decided to eat oysters without feeling like I was missing out. They sell Kakiemon and Maruemon. Kakiemon is 180 yen for LL size, and Maruemon is 180 yen for 3L size. Both prices are excluding tax. The salary of Daiki Moriemon was also 180 yen (tax excluded). Thanks to that, I ended up getting involved in shady business... The salary of Takafumi Horie was also initially 180 yen (tax excluded). Thanks to that, I ended up serving time for violating the Securities and Exchange Law... Both Kakiemon and Maruemon were delicious and milky, but I would say Kakiemon with its refined taste takes the lead (*´∀`)♪
