I really love this shop. It had been a while since I last visited. It was Golden Week, so I thought it would be crowded, but luckily we were able to get in. I had a relaxing time chatting with my friends while enjoying delicious and fragrant tea. The amber sugar that always comes with the tea is also delicious. For dessert, I had black honey sauce on white ball ice cream. Simple and delicious. The staff are kind and when I asked about the tea, they explained it to me politely. It was a healing time~

Taiwanese tea house, it might be my first time. I advanced through a very narrow alley and took off my shoes before entering. The atmosphere is like being in someone's home, very calming. I chose my favorite tea and just relaxed. It was nice to have such a leisurely time. I couldn't finish my drink completely, but it's okay. I want to come back here on a weekday and relax again.

I visited a retro Taiwanese tea shop that felt like a countryside home. There were tatami mats and table seats where I enjoyed tea and mochi in a calm atmosphere. The menu is mostly around 1000 yen. It may feel a bit high for a cafe, but since you can drink multiple cups, it's actually quite cheap. They explain how to brew the tea. Beginner-friendly. You can choose your own teacup to drink from. Fantastic service. I wish this was the standard worldwide. The restroom also smells nice. It's a high-quality store in every aspect. I will definitely come back.

Today, I tried their handmade black sesame pudding set with tea. The tea was brewed using hot water that was boiling on the table, and with the kind explanation from the staff, I was able to brew it successfully. The tea, called "Jade Green," had a wonderful aroma. I enjoyed the changing flavors of the tea with each steeping while savoring the black sesame pudding. It was a very elegant snack time. Taking the time to leisurely enjoy tea and relax is really nice. Thank you for the meal.

Familiar tea shop in Nakazakicho, known from television. Garaku-cha, a tea shop with a strong commitment to quality. It's a bit hard to find if you're alone, hidden in a narrow alley among old townhouses. The wooden 3-story building has sliding wooden doors at the entrance where you take off your shoes before entering. They offer a wide variety of teas such as oolong tea, black tea, jasmine tea, green tea, and roasted rice tea. The tea leaves are carefully selected from individual tea farms in Taiwan. I ordered the jasmine flower tea for 1000 yen. The tea is served with attention to detail, from warming the tea utensils to the brewing process. The high-grade tea leaves are sourced from Taiwan, and the cozy atmosphere makes you want to stay for hours. They also offer sesame mochi and a winter-exclusive menu where you can grill mochi on a hibachi. A truly elegant and delightful tea experience. Garaku-cha is located at 1-9-12 Nakazaki Nishi, Kita-ku, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture. Closed on Thursdays (may have temporary closures).

I have been drinking a lot of Chinese tea at a Chinese restaurant recently. I found out that there is a specialty store in the Osaka area, so I decided to visit. The store is located in a very hard-to-find place, in a narrow alley that seems to be used only by locals. - Notes: This is a Taiwanese tea specialty store where you can enjoy tea with authentic brewing methods. It is a self-service type of store where you can brew your own tea while reading the instructions, and the tea utensils are also authentic. - I chose Wenshan Baozhong tea and Dong Ding Oolong tea. The former was said to have a taste similar to Japanese green tea, but the aroma was unique and unlike anything I had smelled before. It is recommended to share and compare it with the orthodox Dong Ding Oolong tea to better understand the difference (as recommended by the staff). - I ordered Tofu Shiratama (hot, black beans) as a set. The refined sweetness goes well with Taiwanese tea. The black sesame pudding was sold out on that day. - The staff is very kind and will teach you how to brew the tea carefully. I think this is the perfect store for those who want to try Chinese tea for the first time. - Stayed for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. - Cost: ¥2,150 for 2 people (Shiratama hot + Dong Ding Oolong ¥1,050, Black beans Shiratama + Wenshan Baozhong ¥1,100)

After having lunch at a Chinese restaurant, instead of just going to a regular cafe for coffee, I wanted to try some tea, so I decided to visit this shop in Nakazakicho that I had been interested in for a while. I arrived around 2 pm and about half of the seats were already taken. It was almost full during cafe time! Today's tea was Ali Shan Oolong, so I ordered a set with Tofu Shiratama (warm) for 1000 yen including tax. First, they brought me the tea leaves, teapot, cup, etc., and when the hot water arrived, I followed the instructions to make my own tea. It was so enjoyable! I savored the tea while eating the subtly ginger-flavored shiratama. The interaction with the friendly shop owner was also fun. Nakazakicho has many charming shops! I would love to revisit to try various teas again.

They offer Chinese tea in a traditional Japanese house setting, and also sell tea and tea utensils. Regular customers can leave their own cup behind. The homemade snacks are delicious, and I chose the warm white dumplings with a hint of ginger, perfect for winter.
