I sometimes visit this bar with my friends. I was in Shimokitazawa this day and had the next day off, so I decided to stop by START BAR in Shibuya since it's nearby. The interior of the bar was clean and there were two seating options - counter seats and table seats. I was surprised to see that the interior had changed since my last visit, but I found out that they had just renovated. It was lucky that I could visit at this timing. The bar may look like a members-only place, but it's actually open to everyone. It has a welcoming atmosphere, and recently, even foreigners have been visiting. During the day, they host a unique event called "University Students x Exclusive Introduction Bar x Venture Companies," which I found interesting. I ordered a Ballantine's highball and enjoyed myself until morning. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The cozy atmosphere and reasonable prices make it a great place to visit. They also have darts and mini-games, and the friendly customers and approachable owner make it easy to strike up a conversation. It's more like a cozy, welcoming place rather than just a bar, where you can make new friends. A great place to hang out!
