I went to "Nikaino Uo," which opened near Kushida Shrine on November 1, 2022, and had a great time. This is a popular seafood izakaya in Nakasu, a sister store of "#Hoteiya"! So you can expect great taste! Plus, the prices are reasonable, starting from ¥280 for dishes and ¥190 for lemon sour. Some recommended dishes include: Honmaguro Chutoro Tetsunabe Yaki (¥1,280), Sashimi Kimagure Gosumori (¥980), Negi Tama (¥300), Atamaki (¥300 and up), Lemon Sour (¥190), and Kakuhai (¥280). Everything was delicious, but the Honmaguro Chutoro Tetsunabe Yaki is a must-try! It's a special dish with lightly grilled chutoro, sweet and savory miso sauce, and it goes perfectly with drinks. The Atamaki offers over 10 varieties, making it a perfect snack with alcohol. It's a place you'll want to visit again and again!

The time was too late and the famous hot pot menu was sold out. It was disappointing, but we still enjoyed other dishes. The rice dishes were all thin rolls. The grilled mackerel with miso was the most delicious, and at that time I felt like eating white rice, but there were various rolls that were tasty.

The interior of the restaurant is still new and very clean. The walls are decorated with many colorful paper strips, which make you want to try a variety of dishes. The first thing I ordered was the potato salad. It was a small portion of potato salad topped with ikura, which added a nice texture to it. The Sayori (halfbeak fish) with miso glaze was thick and had a sweet miso flavor that was delicious. It made me crave some rice. The sashimi was also tasty, showing that this restaurant is great with seafood dishes. Enjoying beer with fish is exceptional. The beer was poured with a nice foam on top, making it look very appealing. And the lemon sour was only 190 yen, so I ended up drinking too much. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant is located on the second floor and focuses on seafood dishes. The atmosphere inside is very calm and relaxing. The sashimi is very fresh and served in a good size for drinking with sake. The potato salad was also delicious with plenty of fish roe. I tried whale heart sashimi for the first time, which had a crunchy texture reminiscent of liver sashimi. The grilled fatty tuna with green onion miso that I was looking forward to was exceptionally delicious. The green onion soaked in the fatty tuna oil was irresistible! The crispy grilled chicken was also perfectly done, even for someone picky about chicken like me. The rolled dishes were also delicious and perfect as a side dish for sake. Overall, everything was delicious! This restaurant has become a definite must-visit place for me.

This time, we visited Nikaino Uo located at 1-3, Kamikawabata-cho, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, 2nd floor. As the name suggests, this place is all about fish! We came here with the goal of eating some delicious fish dishes. We started off with a toast with a glass of draft beer. The place was lively, with both counter and table seats almost full. We ordered the "Kimagure 5 kinds assortment" for 980 yen (1078 yen), which included squid, horse mackerel, striped jack, tuna, and mackerel, 2 pieces each. The cost performance was really good! The drinks were also very affordable, with beer, lemon sour for 190 yen, ginger lemon sour for 290 yen, and green tea highball for 380 yen. The "Toro Tekka" for 980 yen (1078 yen) was overflowing with tuna, and the "Nikaino Potesara" for 480 yen (528 yen) was topped with ikura and tempura bits, which was a nice touch. The grilled swordfish for 680 yen was unfortunately undercooked, but they kindly remade it for us. The eel and egg dish for 380 yen was a good accompaniment to our drinks. The new staff member's training was quite audible, which made it a bit hard to fully enjoy our meal. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience.

We started with draft beer and assorted sashimi including mackerel, seared Spanish mackerel, and flounder - all delicious and only 680 yen! The fish is stored wrapped in paper, maintaining its freshness. The grilled eel is crispy and priced at a surprisingly low 780 yen, almost at cost. The silver soda mixed drink for 280 yen is refreshing, and the fried green chili pepper snack is outstanding, with a delightful sweetness from the onions. This seafood izakaya offers high-quality fish dishes at unbeatable prices, providing excellent value for money.

I was curious so I stopped by with my boss. Even on a Wednesday, the place was crowded with many people sitting at the counter. We randomly ordered some dishes but everything was delicious and satisfying. The lemon sour was cheap so I think I had about 10 cups. I'm thinking of making a reservation for the next visit.

A great value seafood izakaya located near Gion Station heading towards Nakasu. The "Nira Tama (laugh)" is recommended, and as shown in the photo, it's not your typical Nira Tama dish. The sashimi and other dishes are also very cost-effective, and all the food was quite delicious.

The place is crowded with companions, but the food is really delicious and cost-effective. The "nira-tama" (leek and egg) is a must-order! The oyster kimchi is also great, the kimchi is delicious and goes well with alcohol. I want to try other menu items next time! Thank you for the meal.

I visited this place recommended by a friend as having great cost performance. It is still a new shop. The interior is full of counter and table seats, and it was bustling with customers. I was guided to a counter seat just in time. The highball starts at 280 yen. So cheap!! I felt like I was at Kakuya!! And lemon sour is only 190 yen! The drinks are so cheap and I'm grateful for that. The sashimi platter was listed as 5 kinds, but there were actually 6 kinds. There was even squid included! The 5 kinds cost 980 yen, which is definitely cheap! (Not sure if it was 980 yen for 6 kinds) They had kombu with roe, sweet shrimp marinated in soy sauce, flounder and anglerfish liver, ikura and fatty salmon. The tuna hot pot seemed to be a must-try, but I'm not a fan of tuna so I passed on that. The friend who recommended this place seemed to really like it, so if you like tuna, give it a try. They also poured Japanese sake generously into the glass, and I got pleasantly drunk. I will visit again if I have the chance! Thank you for the meal.

The store was clean and cozy. I visited right when it opened, and was surprised to see many customers already there. The fish dishes were delicious, and the grilled meat dishes were also tasty. The drinks were reasonably priced, and they had some unique menu items that caught my eye. However, the staff seemed to be present but the turnover rate was slow, resulting in a bit of a wait for both food and drinks. It's a shame! I wish they would inform customers about the 2-hour time limit upon entry.

I enjoyed a course meal with plenty of fresh fish dishes and all-you-can-drink for 5000 yen. We could choose one type of sushi roll per person and eat until we were full. I definitely want to go back again!

I was taken to this place by a friend for the first time. The highball was 280 yen and the chu-hai was 190 yen, which is incredibly cheap, and the food was delicious. It was amazing. I discovered a new favorite spot in Hakata! I will definitely go back! Unfortunately, I didn't take any photos.
