But the other day, I happened to see on TV that the owner was a man. Maybe there has been a change. This year, peaches are delicious, so the cake was decent. However, now most other shops also have whole peach cakes on display. The price here is about 100 yen higher than the others at 550 yen. There are few cake options here, so it doesn't seem worth coming all the way here to buy.

The location is at the intersection of Route 10, turn towards Seven Eleven and Uniqlo, and it's on the left after passing Family Mart. The exterior is mainly blue and white with an antique hand-painted vibe. The interior has different colored floorboards and a slightly antique feel. The unique name means "to mix well" in French, a term often used by cooking instructors. They used to have a branch at Riverwalk but now only have this one. Unfortunately, their lunch menu ended in late March. I wanted to try the "Momono Bakudan" but it was already sold out for the season. Instead, I bought a Mont Blanc, Chestnut Tart, Fruit Shortcake, Baked Banana Tart, and Baked Cheese Pudding. The Baked Banana Tart had a crispy tart crust with custard cream and sweet, fragrant baked bananas. The Fruit Shortcake was creamy with melon, strawberry, and baked banana on top, and peach between the sponge layers. The Baked Cheese Pudding used French cream cheese "Kiri" and was more like a lightly baked rich cheesecake. The Mont Blanc had a whole chestnut inside, and the Chestnut Tart was filled with chestnut cream and topped with chestnuts and chocolate. The cakes were on the smaller side, making them seem a bit pricey. I'll try the Momono Bakudan next year, even though the price seems to be increasing.
