JR Kyushu Kogyodai-mae Station is about a 2-minute walk away. Izakaya Musashi. [First visit] I saw the owner posting daily information on the internet like "I prepared this today" and thought I would give it a try. That day, it was the second stop, and it was around 9 pm, with almost all customers gone, and the atmosphere in the shop was relaxed. It felt like the end of business hours. The interior of the shop has counter seats and tatami mats. The decor is based on wood, with a well-worn atmosphere. Since there was no menu in hand, I had to use my rusty logan skills to read what was written on the blackboard. Here's what was written: Red clam 650 yen, Hirame sashimi 600 yen, Sea bream sashimi 600 yen, Bluefin tuna sashimi 980 yen, Ariake clam butter 600 yen, Cold tofu with shredded dried baby sardines 400 yen, Pickled sardines 350 yen, Oden dog 300 yen, Grilled eggplant 400 yen, Grilled hirame collar 650 yen, Fish nanban-zuke 400 yen, White liver skewers 200 yen, Wakamatsu drained tomatoes 350 yen, and other items including oden, a Musashi specialty. I ordered the following: There are many sake options, but I had sweet potato shochu that day. ◆ Otoshi - Sesame hirame, perhaps? Sweet soy sauce seasoning. Since this was served, I didn't order the sashimi I had planned. ◆ White liver skewers - After ordering, a regular customer recommended, "This is delicious," "You can trust me." I ordered two skewers. The sauce was sweet and sticky. The white liver was fatty and well grilled. I see. The owner is a laid-back man. There were two women who seemed to be from the shop and one regular customer. A relaxed atmosphere. That day, there was a feeling that the shop was about to close, so my stay was short, but it was a calming place. [Second visit] I was curious and decided to give it another try. The cheerful owner seemed to remember my face. ◆ Oden tofu - I was somewhat forcibly recommended by the shop's No.2 mother, "It's definitely delicious," "I'm not lying," (laughs) Simmered tofu. Topped with green onions, ginger, and other condiments. The flavors were gentle and delicious. A good start. ◆ Raw rock oysters (800 yen) - Summer oysters. The mothers No.1 and No.2 sitting behind me were chatting, "People who drink alcohol like this kind of thing," "How is it? Is it delicious?" The taste was slightly bland, but the flesh was large and firm. Delicious! ◆ Conger eel with vinegar miso (400 yen) - Yubaed conger eel with vinegar miso. The flesh was soft, but the skin was chewy and elastic. At this price, it's a bargain. ◆ Marinated bonito sashimi - Finally, I wanted another snack, so I requested something from the owner. Quickly, marinated bonito sashimi was served. Slightly sweet soy sauce flavor. The ginger and garlic were just right, and it was excellent! My spirits were lifted. There is quite a variety of sake brands, and there are plenty of daily menu options, making it a good place for everyday use. Thank you for the meal.
