タケマシュラン
Passing through the secret alley of Takoyakushi-dori and next to a private house, you will find "Ramen MUGYU VOL.2 Karasuma Takoyakushi Store." Originally, there was a shop called "Ramen MUGYU" in Marucho, and this seems to be its second branch. The interior of the shop is spacious, with around 10 counter seats and one table seat towards the back. The kitchen is also wide and interestingly laid out. Upon entering, you purchase your meal ticket from the ticket machine and receive a paper apron before taking your seat. This ramen shop offers a variety of side dishes, and I decided to order the fried chicken. It was larger than a typical family-sized chicken, tasted great, and was only 150 yen. As I finished the fried chicken, my ramen arrived. The "Onibara Black" ramen costs 880 yen, and with various toppings added, including the fried chicken from earlier, it came to around 1,500 yen. The thinly sliced barbecued pork covering the entire bowl caught my eye, but it was not too heavy. The soy sauce-based soup had a sharp and flavorful taste, with a strong salty flavor reminiscent of "Shinpukusaikan." The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles, which complemented the soup well, although as a thick noodle enthusiast, I found them slightly lacking. Green onions, wontons, and additional barbecued pork were served on separate plates. The set of wontons and barbecued pork during lunchtime seemed like a great deal. There was something on the table to mix with the soup, which consisted of chives and chili peppers. Adding it to the soup gave it a taste similar to Nagoya's Taiwanese ramen. Although it was delicious, priced at 880 yen by default, it may be slightly on the higher side, and it doesn't have a unique selling point, making it more of a casual dining spot for everyday use.
