I accidentally entered the Hankyu Umeda store even though I have been to the Takatsuki store before and forgot about it. The atmosphere at Hankyu Umeda store is luxurious and different, which made me want to enter. I forgot the name of the cake, but the combination of the sweetness of the fruits and the bitterness of the chocolate was exquisite and incredibly delicious! I want to eat it again. The uniforms of the staff are also cute, aren't they?

I visited the dessert place after 10:20 in the morning. There was a line, but it was shorter than yesterday. I waited for about 45 minutes. While waiting, I looked at the display items around the café. I ordered the collaboration parfait from Jujutsu Kaisen, which had wafer on top in different colors representing Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro. It had strawberry, brownie, coffee jelly, berry sauce, ice cream, and whipped cream. I also ordered the Yuta Okkotsu & Rika Orimoto Pure Love Cream Soda, which was a bit sweet compared to the Gojo Satoru Strongest Cream Soda I had yesterday. I got a stamp on my Marufuku Coffee Shop stamp card for the purchase. Thank you!

I went for dessert after lunch at 13:51. It was a collaboration with Jujutsu Kaisen... so crowded!!! I had to write my name down and wait around. It was a Sunday when they were having the Jujutsu Kaisen exhibition... I ordered the Gojo Satoru strongest cream soda x1. On top of the cream soda was something like chocolate... I was looking forward to the coaster and other goodies that come later... it would be even better if there was chocolate and a coaster. At a previous event at Loft, the drink came with a coaster. Well, without the chocolate, it's just regular cream soda. I thought the chocolate was wafer-like... it turned out to be a wafer similar to a wheat flour rice cracker. When I put the straw in the glass, the cream soda sprayed everywhere. In the end, I was seated at a table 70 minutes later!!! Well, it's a festival. So, I just accepted it as an event. I still plan to come back one more time... maybe tomorrow.

Marufuku Coffee on the 9th floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store is currently hosting the World Tea Festival 2023 at the event space until May 22nd. They are offering a limited-time Melon Cake, and I tried their Hojicha and Matcha Tea Parfait (Drink set ¥1700). The parfait features matcha on top of whipped cream, with a vanilla ice cream base topped with hojicha Mont Blanc. Inside, there are matcha and hojicha pudding, chocolate cake, and yuzu jelly, along with plenty of goodies like shiratama dango with kuromitsu. The yuzu jelly was especially delicious, and the balance of flavors was perfect. Despite the oversight of forgetting the kuromitsu, I thoroughly enjoyed this parfait.

When I went to Hankyu Department Store after 7 pm, most of the cafes on the other floors had already finished their last orders. I ended up going to Marufuku Coffee on the 9th floor, where I could still place an order. I had a cake set, and although some items were sold out due to the late hour, I was able to get the Berry Mousse here. The 9th floor has high ceilings and an open atmosphere, allowing me to relax and enjoy my meal.

"I wonder if Kumamon has tried it too." After seeing Kumamon up close at a PR event for the Kumamoto Fair at Hankyu Umeda on 11/13, I stopped by this café and enjoyed a Mont Blanc parfait made with chestnuts from Kumamoto while pondering such thoughts. As a big fan of Kumamon, I decided to visit Hankyu Umeda on my day off to see Kumamon. Unfortunately, it started raining and the originally planned outdoor event was canceled, so instead, the event took place in the halls on the 9th and 10th floors. After the event, I looked for a store inside Hankyu that offered fair menus and found that this café, "Marufuku Coffee Shop" on the 9th floor, was serving a sweet called "Forest Mont Blanc Parfait" made with Kumamoto chestnuts. I decided to have this as a late afternoon snack, along with a cup of coffee. During this season, many cafes and restaurants offer Mont Blanc or chestnut parfait, but I particularly liked how this parfait, as the name suggests, effectively portrayed the forest with toppings shaped like leaves and squirrels. In terms of taste, I found the combination of Kumamoto chestnut Mont Blanc and berry sauce, along with other various ingredients, to be quite delightful. The Kumamoto Mont Blanc parfait is available for a limited time until 11/30. For Kumamon fans and those who love chestnuts or parfaits, I highly recommend trying it out."

☆彡I look forward to waking up early and making pancakes myself, but sometimes I crave delicious pancakes with a different texture that can only be achieved by cooking them on a copper plate. Marufuku Coffee, a famous cafe in Osaka, is known for its deep roasted coffee and copper plate-cooked pancakes. As a pancake lover, I am willing to go anywhere for delicious pancakes, especially the ones at Marufuku Coffee with their amazing texture. Their menu includes Pancakes (740 yen), Blend Coffee (590 yen), and Coffee Refill (310 yen). While maple syrup is the typical choice for pancakes, Marufuku Coffee offers a choice between honey and maple syrup. The combination of honey and butter on the pancakes is absolutely delicious, and the unique texture from the copper plate cooking is unbeatable. The surprise of the day was the delicious coffee. Marufuku Coffee has transformed bitter, one-dimensional roasted coffee into a beautifully balanced brew that showcases the freshness of the beans. If they can brew such delicious coffee, then I'll definitely be getting a refill. It seems like the coffee culture in Osaka is really thriving. After shopping around 3 PM, I took a break at Marufuku Coffee Shop on the 9th floor of Hankyu Umeda. I was seated right away with no wait. Since I had eaten too much bread for lunch, I decided to just have a drink. I ordered a black tea for 630 yen and a mixed juice for 800 yen. The cafe is located inside a department store so the age group is older, making it quiet and relaxing.

Once again, for lunch♪ Sandwich Plate Lunch @1400 (Mixed sandwich, American (HOT)). This restaurant is always crowded, but since it was a weekday, I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. The mixed sandwich was delicious as always♪ Thank you for the meal^ ^

I was very happy♪ I will use it at home (人•͈ᴗ•͈) These paw pads are made of marshmallows, and since the marshmallows were sweet, they gradually melted into the cafe au lait, and I was fine without sugar. After finishing some errands at my parents' house, we had lunch at Hankyu Umeda store and then coffee. My sister likes the coffee at Marufuku, and she only adds brown sugar and milk when drinking it. When I tried it black, I found Marufuku's coffee to be strong. Adding brown sugar and milk gives it a taste like milk caramel. My mother also liked the coffee here and used to put in more than three pieces of brown sugar. She didn't add milk when the coffee cooled down. While sipping on this nostalgic coffee, we had some serious discussions. It's refreshing to have such conversations. After parting ways, I got drawn into the Nordic Fair at the Festival Plaza for some shopping. I can't leave without buying something, it's a dilemma.

I felt a bit hungry, so I went to Marufuku Coffee Shop. I ordered a Mixed Juice for 800 yen and a Mixed Toast Sandwich for 820 yen. The Mixed Toast Sandwich was delicious! It would be great if they offered a set discount with a drink. Even though it's a coffee shop, the Mixed Juice is also tasty. Marufuku has a variety of delicious menu options. The atmosphere at this shop inside Hankyu is nice and open, which I like. Thank you for the meal!

Located on the 9th floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store. Visited with 3 people, including a small child, during the early lunch hours, wanting something a little cold. Ordered the Plenty of Strawberry Parfait Drink Set with Iced Tea. As the name suggests, it was full of strawberries. As we enjoyed it, we found chocolate ice cream and raspberry sauce inside, creating an amazing combination. Also ordered the Hankyu Umeda Store Limited Berry Parfait Drink Set with Iced Coffee. The Berry Parfait had a layer of a little whipped cream at the bottom, topped with crispy corn flakes, vanilla ice cream, soft serve, and plenty of berry sauce. The smooth vanilla ice cream was delicious. The iced coffee was also very tasty. Ordered the Kids' Sandwich Set for the child, with orange juice. The set included a thick ham and egg salad sandwich, potato salad, cherry tomatoes, and desserts such as custard pudding and baumkuchen from Marufuku Coffee Shop on one plate. It was a very luxurious meal. The child seemed to enjoy the baumkuchen and pudding the most. The kitchen staff worked efficiently and the service was quick. The spacious interior was child-friendly, and the staff were considerate, even lowering themselves to communicate with elderly customers at a lower level. The atmosphere was a bit noisy due to the high ceiling, but the staff's attentive service made up for it. The child was in a good mood throughout the meal. It was a wonderful dessert time. The food was delicious, and we will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

A special collaboration between Marufuku Coffee and Atelier Godiva, featuring "atelier tablet milk chocolate caramel salé" and Marufuku Coffee's limited blend coffee "Brazil chocolate," available until 2/14. "The coffee jelly I tried at Hankyu Umeda this day was a coffee jelly combined with cream cheese from the French brand 'Le Guel'. Although I was aware that Marufuku has been offering coffee jelly for a long time, I had never seen this particular coffee jelly before at the event held at Hankyu Department Store in Umeda that day. The one I ordered was the 'Marufuku Coffee Jelly ~ Creme ~ Le Guel'. 'Le Guel' is a brand of butter and cream cheese from Brittany, France, and is popular in Japan as well. It has a richness closer to butter than to whipped cream, and when combined with Marufuku's rich coffee jelly and a hint of maple liqueur, it creates a more sophisticated and adult flavor than regular coffee jelly. I did not confirm whether this coffee jelly is available at other stores or how long it will be offered, but for those who don't like overly sweet desserts or prefer simple and elegant sweets, I recommend giving it a try."

It was originally just planning to have tea, but I was so hungry that I couldn't resist. I ended up ordering curry toast. The cheese was half melted and gooey. The curry inside was just the right temperature and easy to eat. The curry itself was not very spicy, rather it was quite sweet. Because of the cheese, it was easy to eat. My friend had the chicken butter curry, which was sweet and had a hint of butter flavor, and it was very delicious. I still wanted more, so I decided to have the special hotcakes. Eating them with coffee paste and vanilla ice cream made my mouth happy. Don't underestimate the curry at this cafe, it was really delicious. The tea set cost around 1200 yen.

This is a cafe located on the 9th floor of Umeda Hankyu Department Store. It has a nostalgic atmosphere with old-fashioned menu items that are not commonly seen nowadays. Since it is located above a department store, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but I think it's worth taking a break here after shopping!

This cafe on the 9th floor of Ume-Han has a spacious and open atmosphere, and when there are events on the 9th floor, there tends to be a long line. However, the turnover is fast so you don't have to wait too long to get in, making it a great spot for a break in between shopping. This time, I ordered the popular menu item, Coffee Cream Roll Cake. The perfect balance of sweetness and bitterness in the coffee cream, wrapped in a fluffy cake, paired excellently with the drink! I have been to Marufuku a few times, but the pancakes here were dry and not to my liking. I felt that there was a difference in quality between different locations. The coffee was a bit too bitter for my taste as well.
