I came to the restaurant because I wanted to eat kama-daki gohan. The bonito tataki was incredibly delicious. It was a shame that the miso soup only had seaweed in it, but I would like to go again. I was torn between salt and sauce, but I chose salt this time. There was also a set where you can enjoy three different flavors, so I want to try that next time.

The restaurant was busy right from the opening. The best recommendation is the freshly cooked rice in the pot. The shiny white rice with distinct grains is very appealing. There is almost two bowls worth of rice, so you may not need a refill. The fried oyster set meal is a bit smaller in portion compared to others, but it looks luxurious served on the shell. It was just the right amount for me, but men might find it a bit lacking. You can also change the miso soup to a clear broth. With a wide variety of fish dishes, it seems to be popular among the restaurants in Chikushino Aeon Mall.

I used it for lunch. The store's appearance and the enthusiastic preparation raised my expectations, and I was excited as I entered the store! There are so many menu options! I hesitated for a while and ended up choosing the avocado and bonito seafood bowl! It was a perfect choice, and I devoured it in no time! Now I'm looking forward to what to eat next!

After finishing work in Chikushino, I connected to Wi-Fi at Aeon Mall and successfully completed a Zoom meeting. It was 6:00 PM, so I decided to have a drink at "Tosa Warayaki Ryujinmaru". I ordered 5 slices of bonito straw-grilled for 880 yen plus tax. The slices were thick and topped with onions, green onions, and bonito flakes. I enjoyed it with a glass of draft beer. The restaurant had a fishing boat theme inside. It was a nice experience.

After 7-8 years, I visited Chikushino Ion for a little trip feeling. It's located in the suburbs, near Tenpaiyama Station, about 20-30 minutes from Hakata Station. It has expanded and become larger since my last visit. Many of the shops have changed, but there are also some new ones that are not found in Kashiihama, Fukutsu, or LUCLE. It was fun exploring the different stores. For lunch, I decided to try a restaurant that specializes in tataki, which is a type of lightly seared fish. The restaurant had a fishing boat theme, and I ordered a tataki comparison set meal. The rice was cooked in a pot and had a shiny appearance. The tataki was served warm and had a delicious smoky flavor. The side dish of fried chicken with Setouchi lemon sauce was also tasty. The meal was filling, and I was too full for dessert. Overall, it was an enjoyable and delicious lunch experience. I will definitely visit again.

Is this store nationwide? I come to the local Aeon. Sometimes I have seen other stores on Tabelog. I'm not interested in bonito sashimi, but when I happened to be walking in front of the store, I saw what seemed to be a limited menu. I thought I could eat this, so I visited the store at 11:30 on a weekday. I sat at a table guided by a female staff member and looked at the menu, but there seemed to be no limited menu. When I called the female staff member and said I wanted to eat the one on the menu in front of the store, she understood. -Sea bream rice bowl = 913 yen including tax. I imagine that sea bream pickled is placed on top of rice. The staff consisted of one male who seemed to be the manager and three female staff members. The person grilling the sashimi was not a man but a woman. There were still few customers. They seemed to be taking longer than usual for this time of day. After waiting for about 10 minutes, the bowl was served. I was amazed to see that the sea bream on top of the white rice was the part near the belly bone, which is usually served as a bone. It seemed to have been simmered sweetly and made easy to eat by removing only the bones. Since this part has a lot of fat, it felt like my stomach would get upset if I ate only this part. I tried to eat it with the green onions and raw egg yolk, but I don't like raw eggs, so I tried to avoid it without breaking it. I tried to eat it with the rice, but for some reason, my mouth was not happy, and even the movement of the spoon became awkward. The overly sweet simmered sauce and the fatty part of the fish made it impossible for me to eat all of it, so I had to leave 80% of the bowl uneaten. I refreshed my mouth with miso soup with seaweed and left the store promptly. It's my fault for not asking what kind of dish it was at first. Some people may like this, but it simply didn't suit my taste.

I went to the Ion Mall in Kashii-no and decided to revisit a katsuobushi restaurant I had tried before. This time, I ordered the Aji Fry & Buri Ryukyu Set Meal for 980 yen and the Maguro Kama Shioyaki Set Meal for 1380 yen. The Aji Fry was okay, with a thin texture. The Buri Ryukyu was delicious, with a moist and flavorful texture that paired well with the rice. However, the Maguro Kama Shioyaki lacked saltiness and had a slightly fishy taste. Overall, the restaurant is unique and worth a visit if you're in the area.

Located in Tsukushino Aeon, there is Ryujinmaru. No matter how many times I go, it's always delicious. The freshly cooked rice in the pot is just amazing ✨ This time when I visited, they had a new menu item called "straw-grilled bowl", so I tried that. The finely chopped bonito grilled over straw was fragrant, and combined with creamy avocado and half-boiled egg, it was amazing! The sesame oil-based sauce was so good that you could eat just that with the rice, haha. Also, the miso soup with seaweed is delicious. The Avocado Straw-Grilled Bowl set meal for 980 yen is great value for money!

This time, I ordered the "Straw-grilled bonito marinated rice bowl". It has bonito tataki and seaweed on top of the rice with a sweet sauce. It's tastier than the bonito tataki set meal I had last time, but despite being called "straw-grilled", there was no straw flavor, just a gas-grilled flavor in the bonito tataki.

I ordered the seared bonito with tare sauce set meal. The slices of bonito were impressively large. The rice, freshly cooked and shiny, was very delicious. When I wanted to get a refill of rice, I was told that refills come from the rice cooker, which was a little disappointing. I also ordered the grilled miso-marinated sea bream and steamed chicken over straw, while my companion ordered the Tosa Jiro's egg. We enjoyed eating egg over rice. I wanted to order the same but couldn't because I couldn't order a continuous refill of rice. Despite not being able to get a refill of rice, each dish was delicious, so I gave it a rating of 4.5 stars.

I finally got to visit a restaurant I've been wanting to go to for a while. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was fisherman-like and fun, with enjoyable background music. The tempura assortment was different from the photo, but the fish and rice were delicious. The rice was a bit crunchy and hard. I had a set meal this time, but next time I would like to try some a la carte dishes. I would definitely come back again.

The smoked bonito tataki is excellent! It has no fishy smell at all and you can eat as much as you want. The tempura and side dishes are perfect. However, the rice cooked in the pot was disappointing. The size of the grains, aroma, sweetness, shine, and stickiness are all lacking. It feels like they are trying to cover up the fact that they are not using high-quality rice. I think the rice would not taste good at all if it wasn't cooked in a pot.

This is Ryujinmaru located in Imomall Chikushino. Their main dishes are straw-grilled bonito and bonito tataki, which are famous specialties from Kochi. My companion ordered the bonito tataki and blowfish tempura set meal, while I ordered the grilled tuna collar set meal and bonito straw-grilled as a single item. The rice is cooked in small pots at each table, and after it is loosened and steamed for about 2 minutes. The rice was a bit mushy, perhaps due to too much water or improper heating. The grilled tuna collar still had scales on it, making it difficult to eat and leaving a messy appearance after finishing (lol). The bonito straw-grilled was burnt black, probably because it was frozen and difficult to cook properly. I usually make sure to thaw it thoroughly before grilling, but the freshness seemed lacking, resulting in a mediocre taste. The blowfish tempura had a strong seasoning on the batter, which might give the impression of being delicious, but the texture was a bit disappointing. Considering the relatively high prices for the freshness, it's better to go to a cheaper place with decent quality or spend more for a higher-quality restaurant.

As soon as you enter, there is a gas cooking machine, and the rice is cooked one by one upon ordering. The rice is firm and shiny. I ordered a raw egg over rice. The rice was also excellent! Shiny and delicious! The bonito sashimi.

I was impressed by the straw-grilled dish I had in Kochi, so I looked for a restaurant in Fukuoka where I could try it. I found one that had a strong atmosphere of fishing boats in Kochi. The taste was delicious, and I believe straw-grilled dishes are best with salt seasoning!

I had been in Kochi Prefecture for quite some time, so I decided to visit a restaurant to satisfy my craving for Tosa cuisine. I ordered the salted bonito tataki set meal and a side of garlic chives pork. The bonito tataki was served with coarse salt sprinkled on top, but unlike other places where it is dipped in citrus vinegar, this one was just salty. The side of garlic chives pork was also overly salty and had a strange thick texture. Overall, I was disappointed as the flavors were not what I expected from Tosa cuisine.
