The convenience of having Antoku delivery near the FamilyMart on Culture Street is great. The assorted platter of momo tō and tebasaki for 1000 yen is a good deal, including sand liver and cartilage fried chicken with a sweet flavor overall. The fried chikuwa roll with cheese and shiso inside for 300 yen was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

This is a takeout-only fried chicken shop located in the entertainment district of Kurume. It seems to be quite popular as they fry the chicken one after another. While I was passing by, I noticed a sign that said "yakichikuwa" in red letters. It piqued my interest, so I decided to buy it. I ordered the chikuwa (300 yen) and found out they also offer fried chikuwa, which is quicker to prepare. The chikuwa is made from ground fish paste and is deep-fried before being served with chili sauce and seven-spice mayonnaise. They also gave me a complimentary serving of fried gizzards. I was surprised that the fried chikuwa wasn't as greasy as I expected. It had a dense texture due to using tightly packed fish paste. The fried gizzards were unexpectedly light and delicious. The employees and customers seem to buy these as souvenirs. Overall, it was a unique fried chicken shop experience.
