I made a reservation for after 2:00 PM on a weekday. The last time I visited this place for the first time, I was so impressed by how delicious the food was that I decided to come back again. When I tried to visit without a reservation last time, it was crowded and I couldn't get in... I realized that making a reservation is a must for this place. This time, I made a reservation for revenge. Even though I made the reservation two days before, there were still available seats. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed that there were many female customers. There was even a customer with a baby in a stroller. There were three female staff members. The atmosphere of the restaurant was bright and botanical. The forks and knives had cute handles, showing the attention to detail by the staff. The food arrived in less than 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered: Homemade salted butter caramel (with vanilla ice cream) for 1250 yen, and a ginger ale. The spicy galette was like a crepe made with buckwheat flour. It had a crispy texture and a hint of buckwheat flavor. However, the buckwheat taste was not overpowering. The saltiness of the butter and the sweetness of the caramel complemented each other, making it easy to eat. This is my number one recommended restaurant in Kyoto! It's truly delicious, so make a reservation and give it a try!

Galette can be enjoyed as a dessert or a meal, and this restaurant is very popular among female customers. I had a memorable weekend lunch with a drink set. The vegetables and bag treatment were outstanding, and the restaurant really heightened my awareness of food!

It was late so I entered without a reservation. The salad was included, so I felt less guilty eating dessert, which was delicious! I couldn't decide between the Honey Lemon and the next time I want to try it. Galette B Complède Dessert Custard and Orange

Stylish and delicious popular crepe shop. It gets crowded on weekends, but on weekdays it has a relaxed atmosphere. The menu is limited but offers classic choices. Around 10 am on a weekday, there was one group of customers before us and one group after us. We were able to be seated right away, but the service was a bit slow. It's recommended to visit with plenty of time. [What we ate] Complete Crepe ¥1210 Glass of white wine +¥440 Peach compote crepe ¥1350 The crepe was crispy and chewy, very delicious! The ingredients matched well and suited my taste. However, the wine may not have been the best (I'm sorry). I'm not very good at judging flavors, but I thought maybe the bottle had been opened for a while or wasn't stored properly...? I'm not sure, it's just my personal opinion. But I feel like in a place like this, there are more people who don't drink alcohol than those who do. If you don't want to take any risks, I recommend trying a soft drink. The prices are reasonable and I would love to try other crepes as well. Thank you for the meal!

I discovered this charming shop while strolling through the streets of Kyoto. I visited with a friend, and we were greeted by a lovely hostess who was very kind. The shop was just as nice inside as it looked from the outside. They offered both crepes and galettes, but since we were there for dessert, we opted for a crepe. It was filled with bananas, caramel, and ice cream, and came with a drink. The crepe had a homemade feel to it, with a nice chewy texture and delicious taste. The interior of the shop was decorated with antique furniture, creating a cozy atmosphere. They also serve breakfast, so I would like to try their morning menu next time.

At 10:00, I went to Nufuku Creperie, although the closed sign was still up, a foreign woman came in and insisted on opening, haha. She sat at a two-person table. I ordered the strawberry and custard cream crepe with caramel nut tea set for 1,450 yen (excluding tax). It was quite busy with more people coming in later. The order arrived at 10:13. The fresh strawberries and ice cream were delicious. Normally, I would go for a savory galette for a meal, but I couldn't resist the seasonal menu until Golden Week. The crepe was tasty and not too sweet. The caramel nut tea had a strong flavor that paired well with milk. I will visit again, thank you for the meal.

~Information~☆Opened in 2015, a specialty store for galettes and crepes. Used by 3 people, ordered the dessert set NEUF Crepe for 1100 yen (tax included).
~Memo~After finishing lunch in Kyoto, we went to this place for a snack recommended by gourmet friends. The name Neuf means "nine" in French, but I don't know why it's called that. It's one of Kyoto's mysteries. Someone please explain it.
We ordered the classic NEUF Crepe. The menu consists of dessert sets, so you can choose your favorite drink. The NEUF Crepe with the shop's name includes custard, cinnamon cookie, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla ice cream. The crepe, neatly folded, is chewy and delicious. It has the perfect thickness, not too thin or too thick. This might be the reason for its popularity. The custard and vanilla ice cream are good, but maybe the crepe with simple flavors like Echire butter and sugar is also recommended. Thank you for the meal.

Located a short walk east from Exit 7 of Marutamachi Station, this crepe shop is a popular spot on Sunday mornings. I visited around 10:30 am and managed to snag the last available table without waiting, but there were others waiting after me. If you arrive between 9 am and 11 am, you can enjoy their morning set which includes a savory ham, egg, and cheese galette along with a sweet crepe. You can choose from a variety of toppings to suit your taste. I opted for a simple one with Isigny butter and sugar. Although tempted by the honey and whipped cream option, I decided to go for the butter and sugar to fully appreciate the flavor of the crepe. Some people were sharing both a galette and a crepe, while others were enjoying the galette first before moving on to the sweet crepe. The crepe had a nice chewy texture with a delicious buttery aroma. The coarse sugar added a nice crunch. Their homemade enzyme syrup soda was also tasty.

I randomly entered a restaurant for lunch. It was stylish and delicious. I ordered the avocado galette of the day, dessert crepe with Echire butter, and Earl Grey tea set. I would like to visit again when I am nearby.

<First Visit> The stylish interior of the restaurant is clean and inviting. I ordered a strawberry crepe and chamomile tea. The dishes were beautifully presented in white-colored plates. The chamomile tea was a bit lukewarm, I would have preferred it a bit warmer. The crepe was delicious, although it could have used a bit more flavor. Overall, the cost performance was average. Thank you for the meal.

Dessert with lunch - Norwegian salmon and mushroom cream stew galette ¥1,705 - Nutella +¥500 - Bergamot peach. This galette is a seasonal limited edition. The cream has a very gentle flavor, with lemon as a nice accent. The Nutella dessert is exquisite. The whipped cream is a bit loose.

I was recommended by an acquaintance and visited for the first time. They had a morning special with one drink included until 11:00, so I decided to try the galette. I ordered the BLTA in a triangle shape, but the crepe in a square shape also looked delicious. The BLTA had bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado, with plenty of cheese inside. It was very satisfying and absolutely delicious. Next time, I will try the crepes.

Galette/Mozzarella cheese and tomato minced meat sauce filled crepe with basil sauce for 1,540 yen. Crepe/Isigny butter & sugar (cane sugar) for 1,100 yen. On the way back from Gokoku Shrine, I stumbled upon a nice cafe while taking a leisurely stroll. It was past lunchtime, so I decided to order a galette and two crepes for a meal. I don't usually eat galettes, but this one was incredibly delicious! I was so impressed! I wondered why I hadn't tried galettes before. The crispy and chewy texture of the galette combined with cheese, meat sauce, and basil was irresistibly delicious. This is dangerous. The crepes I ordered for dessert were soft and chewy! The gentle sweetness of Isigny butter and cane sugar enhanced the deliciousness of the crepe dough itself. I thought I might have ordered too much, but the incredible taste made me finish them in no time (laughs). Both the galette and crepes were really delicious, so you can't go wrong with either choice. The interior of the cafe is also very stylish. With its glass walls letting in natural light, the bright and refreshing atmosphere is lovely. This is definitely one of the cafes I want to visit again. I highly recommend visiting this cafe!

Located a 5-7 minute walk from Maruta-cho Station, Nufu Creperie is a crepe specialty shop where instead of the typical rolled crepes with cream and fruits, they serve crepes on a plate as a dessert platter. In addition to a variety of crepe sweets, they also offer savory galettes, making it a great option for a light meal. I tried the NEAF Crepe and English Breakfast. The NEAF Crepe was a luxurious dessert plate with custard cream, cinnamon cookie, maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla ice cream all combined in perfect balance. The flavors were rich but not overwhelming, and each bite offered a different taste experience. This crepe is definitely one of the best I've had, and I highly recommend this top-notch shop. Bon appétit!

While strolling along Idoegawa Street from Marutamachi Station in Kyoto, I stumbled upon a crepe shop that seemed to have a nice atmosphere. With only a large table available and limited time of just one hour, I decided to give it a try. The shop had a slightly dim lighting but was decorated very stylishly, which I found to be the right choice. It seemed to be a crepe specialty shop, but they also offered several types of galettes. I chose the "Complet" galette, which had avocado, tomato, ham, potatoes, and eggs, creating a colorful and delicious combination. The galette, made with buckwheat flour, was not overpowering with buckwheat flavor and had a nice texture, making it very enjoyable to eat. It was filling and well-balanced, truly a tasty galette. As more customers started to come in, I realized that it was a popular hidden gem. Feeling a bit guilty for occupying the large table all by myself, I savored the delicious galette. I would love to visit again if I have the chance, and next time, I'll make sure to make a reservation.

Neuf Creperie in Kyoto, Nijo【@neufcreperie】
Today's order: Galette Set C
Mozzarella cheese and tomato minced meat sauce with basil sauce - ¥1,540
I visited this galette restaurant near Nijo Castle around 1 pm and it was fully packed! They have a system where they call you on the phone when your table is ready, so I went for a walk for about 30 minutes until they called me.
The interior of the restaurant is very stylish and has a relaxing atmosphere. Everything looked so delicious that I had a hard time deciding... I consulted with the staff and ended up ordering the galette with meat sauce.
The galette was crispy, and the richness of the meat sauce combined with the creaminess of the egg created an amazing flavor. It was so delicious that I could have easily eaten 15 more! I'm glad I found this wonderful restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

I used to go to this restaurant when it opened at 9:30, but I saw on Tabelog that it now opens at 10:00. I arrived at 10:00 and found out that the morning set is actually available from 9:00. I managed to get the last seat as it was quite crowded. I chose the BLTA galette with an additional topping of ground meat for 100 yen. It was served at 10:25 and I was impressed by the delicious taste of the salad at the bottom, mixed with the dressing. I will definitely visit again! I also tried the homemade enzyme syrup soda with fresh ginger and lime, which was served at 10:20. It was very tasty with lime slices and what seemed to be thyme leaves on top.

On Saturday morning, there were 4 groups lined up when the restaurant opened. Shortly after opening, it was almost full. The morning set is available from 10:00 to 11:00 with a choice of 2 types of galette and 4 types of crepes, all served with a drink. There was also one seasonal crepe available.
☑︎ BLTA ¥1155 A galette with bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese, and avocado topped with a fried egg. I also added the recommended minced meat sauce topping (¥110). The galette was crispy on the outside and had a salad-like filling inside.
☑︎ Fig Crepe (with drink) ¥1595 A new fig crepe introduced that day served with homemade milk gelato. It had marinated figs, and a sweet and sour fig & rhubarb jam on a chewy crepe.
☑︎ Comple ¥1045 A galette with homemade ham, egg, and cheese.

On Saturday, there were four groups lined up at the opening time of 10:00, and the restaurant was almost full right after it opened. The morning set is available from 10:00 to 11:00, including two types of galettes and four types of crepes with a drink. I chose the Complet (galette) for 1,045 yen, which had homemade ham, egg, and cheese with a simple salt flavor. I also added minced meat sauce as recommended by the staff for an extra 110 yen, which turned out to be a good choice. Despite not being visible, the meat sauce was plentiful and tasted like a salad. I also tried the fig crepe set with a drink for 1,595 yen, which was the most delicious among the dishes I tried. I prefer crepes over galettes. I would like to try the crepes from the morning menu next time. The iced tea was a bit weak, and the set drink options included caramel nut iced tea, tomato juice, and coffee.

A stylish crepe cafe with lots of indoor plants and amazing baking skills. They offer a morning set from 9:00-11:00 and their galette set is very appealing. This time, I chose the dessert crepe, NEFU crepe, and tea set. The NEFU crepe costs 750 yen (excluding tax). Baking crepes thinly requires great skill, and NEFU's crepe has a delicious chewy texture despite being thin. When you roll it up with crunchy crumble and whipped cream, it's absolutely addictive.

On this day, I visited Neuf Creperie in Gosho Minami for breakfast. It's located about 4-5 minutes from Jingumarutamachi Station. I ordered the Morning Set which included a Galette Complète with homemade ham, egg, and cheese, an Iced Coffee, and a topping of mushrooms. It took around 30 minutes to be ready. The Galette was delicious and perfect for breakfast. The taste was traditional and the cutlery used was Laguiole.
