I am in Osaka. In Osaka, in the eastern part of the city, there is a shop in Furichi. I happened to pass by the shop and felt like having something sweet, so I decided to visit. The elderly couple at the shop were very friendly and provided good service. I bought a pack of rural manju, uguisu mochi, sweet potato manju, and a dorayaki. As a bonus, they gave me a hotcake. The rural manju had a slightly salty taste in the skin or red bean paste. I wonder if that's how they are supposed to taste. The uguisu mochi had a light red bean paste and tasted delicious. The hotcake and dorayaki had a gentle sweetness from the honey in the dough, which was really tasty. The red bean paste in the dorayaki was also not too sweet, which was perfect for my taste. If I happen to pass by again, I will definitely buy more items from this shop.
