I visited for breakfast and ordered an iced milk coffee. It was mostly milk with very little coffee flavor or aroma. The interior of the shop had a stylish feel, and the sandwiches looked delicious. However, I was disappointed by the poor service from the staff (who were foreigners).

This is my third visit, including takeout. The first time, I had to wait about 40 minutes on opening day, but it was worth it for the hot and fluffy egg sandwich. Since then, getting a freshly made egg sandwich has become a rarity. However, there was another surprise. Despite the scorching heat, the ice in the lemon squash I took home didn't melt at all even after finishing the drink. It was truly surprising. Perhaps they use high-quality natural water ice? It was so good that I didn't want to throw it away. It would be perfect for shaved ice. The lemon squash also had fresh lemon in it and tasted great. I recommend getting the larger size as the one in the set menu is a bit small and lacks enough lemon. My third visit was the first time dining in. The cold soup, cold lemon squash, and hot potatoes are best enjoyed in the store, but the sandwiches are from the fridge display so the taste is the same as takeout. While I understand they may only be able to make sandwiches in advance, I still want to try a freshly made fluffy egg sandwich again. It's delicious even when it's cold.

Today, I visited a sandwich shop on the second floor of Daimyo Garden City, which opened in June. The restaurants in this building are quite expensive, probably because they are trying to compete with the Ritz-Carlton on the upper floors. Among them, this shop seems to be the most affordable. I arrived in the morning on the first day of the long weekend. The shop opens at 8 am, and you can see the sandwiches lined up in the cooler under the counter. Since I plan to have a light lunch and drink at home around noon, I decided to have a slightly heavier breakfast. I chose the "Shiso-flavored Chicken Cutlet" for 600 yen and a single "Iced Coffee S" for 460 yen. They gave me a number tag and brought the sandwich to my table. The operation was fine at this time, but I wonder if it will be okay during the busy lunch hours. The sandwich, brought to my table by a handsome Western man, had a visually appealing presentation, typical of a Tokyo company. It consisted of a thick chicken cutlet, lettuce, and a hint of shiso flavor, possibly from pickled purple cabbage. The coffee was delicious. However, at 1,060 yen for this meal (the cheapest option), I may not be inclined to frequent this place regularly. Perhaps the people working in this building prefer to eat lunch outside (or at the 7-Eleven on the second floor). Well, I got a sense of what it's like here. I might visit again.

On July 12, 2023, I visited 'Park South Sandwich FUKUOKA', which opened last month along with the opening of Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City. I was initially puzzled by the name 'Park South' as there is no park nearby, but I learned that it was named after the first store in Hiroshima, located south of a park. The casual dining experience of enjoying about 10 types of sandwiches with a fast-food feel in a stylish space seems to be popular. The restaurant was mainly filled with women in their 20s, and although I felt a bit out of place, I decided to take a seat at the available counter. The "Picnic & Park" set, which includes a choice of sandwich, soup, potato, and coffee, is a popular choice. Unable to choose between the shrimp cutlet with coleslaw and the fluffy omelette, I ended up getting both. The crispy shrimp cutlet with a juicy texture and generous coleslaw filling was delightful, and the thick, moist omelette was also enjoyable. However, I couldn't help but feel disappointed that the sandwiches, displayed in a refrigerated showcase, seemed to lose some of their freshness when served.

This is a shop on the second floor of the new Garden City in Tenjin. The interior is simple with counter seats and table seats, and there are outlets available, making it a recommended spot for those who want to work. I ordered the Standard and Orange sandwiches, which consist of salmon, avocado, and carrot rapé. Both were delicious, but if I were to come back, I would definitely choose the Standard. I also got a set menu with potato and soup. The soup was a cold consommé. They had several types of coffee as well, so I look forward to trying a different one next time. It's a fun place to choose both sandwiches and drinks. Takeout is also available. Thank you for the meal.

The shop is clean and has free WiFi, providing a comfortable space. Orangé is a sandwich with salmon, cream cheese, avocado, and a large amount of carrots. It was a bit challenging to eat due to the abundance of carrots, but the overall taste was very delicious!

The sandwich was delicious as usual! How many types of beer are there? There were so many that I couldn't even count. I went around 16:00 in the evening so it was not crowded. However, since the place had just opened, the staff, whether they were new part-timers or not, were not very smooth in explaining the sandwiches and beers, taking orders, and bringing them to us. Even though we chose a sandwich that was already made from the showcase, we had to wait for a long time. We were surprised to see someone who ordered after us getting their order first. Taking all of this into account, I would rate it as a 2.5. The rating of 3.5 is simply for the wide variety of beers and the quality of the sandwiches. There are many seats with outlets, so it's good for hanging out for a while.

A cafe that opened on the 2nd floor of Daimyo Garden City on June 8th. It seems to be a shop originating from Hiroshima. The interior is open and spacious, with many table seats. They offer a Picnic Set (normally 1,350 yen, but 100 yen off for eating in at 1,250 yen; credit cards accepted) with a wait time of about 20 minutes. With so many sandwich options, I couldn't decide, but as a shrimp lover, I went with the "Shrimp Cutlet and Coleslaw." The whole wheat bread, thick shrimp cutlet, and generous coleslaw were delicious. It was quite filling, more than I expected. The set also came with a generous portion of potato fries and cold corn soup. The potato fries could use a bit more salt. The corn soup had a pre-made taste. The hand drip coffee uses beans roasted within a week. You can choose between coffee or tea leaves for your drink, so I went with iced coffee. It had a rich flavor but was a bit too acidic for my taste. This place is open from 8 am to 11 pm, with dinner menu available from 5 pm. It seems to be versatile for various purposes.

Situated on the 2nd floor, you can dine in or take out and enjoy your meal on the grass which is very pleasant. They offer a variety of beautifully crafted sandwiches and their coffee is top-notch. They open from morning till night, offering a cozy atmosphere with counter and table seating, making it suitable for solo diners or groups of friends. Free Wi-Fi is available, making it convenient for those who want to work on their laptops. I tried the morning set which included a sandwich, drink, and yogurt for 880 yen. You can choose from a selection of 600 yen sandwiches and add extra for other options. I went for the shrimp cutlet and coleslaw sandwich which was packed with filling and looked neat when sliced. The yogurt was plain with honey drizzled on top. For my drink, I chose the White Platinum HandDrip coffee which came in a paper cup - I wish they offered it in a mug for dine-in customers.

Despite the crowd on a Sunday afternoon, entering was smooth. I ordered the Shirogane Coffee light roast small hot for 420 yen, and the Kin Coffee medium roast small hot for 420 yen. The coffee came in original paper cups for some reason, and while it was lukewarm, the taste was decently consistent. The Standard Sandwich for 600 yen was a lettuce, egg, cheese, and ham sandwich with a reliable taste. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming.

I used takeout around 6:00 PM on Saturday. The atmosphere inside the stylish restaurant was great. The counter seats were available, and I'm thinking of trying dining in next time. It seems like a nice space where I could have a coffee while doing some work during the available hours. The fluffy egg sandwich was sold out, so I bought the shrimp cutlet and coleslaw with hot sauce and shiso as an accent, which had a slightly unexpected taste (personally, I may not need shiso). The shrimp cutlet and coleslaw with hot sauce and shiso as an accent were unexpectedly delicious. The bread was pleasantly soft and tasty. I also purchased the milky bean butter sandwich with cream and red bean paste, a combination of all my favorite things, which I thought would be a sure bet. The first bite was delicious as expected... but the first bite did not reach the butter, only the cream and red bean paste... as I continued eating, something felt off... when the butter was added, there was something... the butter seemed to be getting in the way. I felt that the fresh milkiness of the cream and the richness of the butter did not mix well... it might depend on the type of butter. By combining them, there was a momentary smell that resembled cheese... even though I usually love butter, I didn't quite like this combination of the three. I would like to try other sandwiches, so I will visit again.

The sandwich was delicious, but the potatoes were too salty to eat. The atmosphere is stylish, but it feels a bit challenging to stay for long. It might be better for takeout use.
