I stayed at Monbetsu for the first time in a while on June 27, 2023. I stayed at a hotel where I had stayed before, the Monbetsu Prince Hotel. This hotel is popular in Monbetsu city and has hot springs. It's usually hard to book during the summer months of June to August, but luckily there was availability this time. I booked a plan that included dinner, the "Kama Meshi Set Meal with 2 Meals Included *Seafood Course*". I was able to stay at a reasonable price thanks to using a national support coupon. I relaxed in the hot springs and enjoyed the delicious dinner, which included Ohotsk hot pot, scallop steak, sashimi, snow crab, tempura, and crab rice. It was a satisfying dinner. The breakfast also had sashimi, and many people were making their own kaisen-don bowls. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Monbetsu. Thank you for taking care of me.

I stayed at a hotel in Monbetsu City in April 2023. It seems that Monbetsu Prince Hotel is not part of the Prince Hotel Group. However, everyone there was very friendly and the hot springs were nice, making it a pleasant hotel. For breakfast, there was a lot of Japanese food at the buffet. They had a machine that made freshly cooked rice, so you could make "manga rice". They also had curry, omelettes, and fried eggs cooked on the spot. Everything was delicious and had a homemade feel to it. The sashimi was fresh, and the crab miso soup had a great flavor. I ended up spending over an hour at breakfast, but it was a fun and enjoyable meal. It was an old but nice hotel.

Stayed at a hotel with hot springs. The lobby and rooms have been renovated and are clean. Took a relaxing bath in the hot springs before going to bed. Breakfast is served from 6:30 am, but it tends to get crowded until 7:30 am, as indicated on a notice. I arrived before 8 am and it wasn't crowded. Checked out the various dishes. Wonder what the main dish is. There are scallops, sweet shrimp, salmon, and more. The crab soup had a good crab flavor. They also had live egg dishes like sunny-side up eggs, omelets, and rolled omelets. About six types of bread and live French toast as well. There were also desserts and fruits. The hotel had high ratings on a travel review site, but if you don't eat the bread and desserts, it's not that impressive. Overall, it's a good hotel when considering the hot springs, service, and rooms.

In Monbetsu, I stayed at Monbetsu Prince Hotel with breakfast included. Here is my breakfast review. Hello (^o^)/ I stayed at this hotel for one night. The breakfast is a mix of Japanese and Western buffet. Due to the timing of my flight back, I didn't have time to have lunch in town, so I filled up my stomach with the hotel breakfast. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations, but it turned out to be quite a satisfying breakfast buffet ( ´∀` )b If you choose room-only, breakfast costs 1,650 yen per adult. They had sashimi, fluffy Hokkaido rice, crab miso soup, Mon Prince's special freshly made tofu, curry with Fukujinzuke, omelette from the chef's corner, ice cream for dessert, Kitamoku Farm milk... and more, offering an exciting buffet where you can enjoy Hokkaido specialties. It was delicious and I ate to my heart's content (*゚ー^) Thank you for the meal (*´∀`)♪ (Review rating at the time ★3.24)

I eat a lot in the morning. I'm good at plating. There are a lot of businessmen, so I felt a little intimidated. I work too, but I don't look like it. There are many menus unique to Monbetsu. But I'm happy to see hotel-like omelets and French toast too!

This trip was planned around staying here. I stayed here today because it was the only available day. The breakfast buffet is amazing. There are so many dishes available, and the staff are constantly cleaning and wiping everything down. I would definitely like to come back to this hotel.

Had breakfast at the Memanbetsu Prince Hotel. It was a buffet style breakfast, but they were very careful with their measures against the new coronavirus. They sprayed alcohol when entering, and masks were only removed when seated. The breakfast buffet here has a wide variety of dishes. If you have time, it's best to take a full round first and then pick out what you want. The service, like the made-to-order fried eggs, was excellent and enjoyable. They also had a variety of Hokkaido-style dishes like whole boiled potatoes, scallops, and salmon sashimi. I tried the curry that I was looking forward to. It felt a bit like a retort curry, but maybe that's because I ate and drank too much the day before. It's a good deal to have a breakfast buffet for ¥9100 including accommodation.

Accommodation date: August 29-30, 2019. The breakfast here had about 4-5 different types of sashimi, typical of a fishing town! I had a sashimi set for dinner last night, and to my surprise, the same types of sashimi were served for breakfast (laughs). You should definitely opt for the breakfast here. College students on a training camp were eating heartily, making me feel like I couldn't keep up (laughs). I'm getting old. There was a wide variety of options, making the breakfast at this hotel satisfying. With hot springs available, I've decided that this is where I'll stay in the future when visiting Monbetsu. Thank you for the meal!

The hotel offers a breakfast buffet plan with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes, but the highlight is the fresh sashimi. The seafood bowl with plenty of delicious scallops was a standout, and the sweet shrimp was also great. My daughter loved the crab in the miso soup. The local craft jams and tasty bread were also very appealing.

I came back from Mombetsu. I stayed at Mombetsu Prince Hotel (Mombetsu Prince). It seems to be air-conditioned here, but it was a natural hot spring. They were pounding rice cakes in the lobby at night on the day I went. It seemed to be an event for tourists from China, but it seems that Mombetsu Prince has been doing rice pounding events for a long time. I didn't have dinner, but I had breakfast at this hotel yesterday and today. It was a buffet. It was quite a good buffet. This is yesterday morning. The milk was from Okoppe. The rice was Yumepirika. This is this morning. Crab soup and more. There were quite a variety of bread too. When it's a buffet, I tend to overeat in the morning, whether it's because I'm stingy or greedy, right? I enjoyed it. Thank you for the meal.

Delicious, but for the crab capital, this is just average. If it's this price, I'd rather try it in Sapporo without staying overnight.

The 1300 yen buffet had a limited variety of seafood such as shrimp, white fish, scallops, and salmon, but it was enough for breakfast. The toppings for the seafood bowl included okra and yam. There was also ice cream, Western dishes, and a modern steam toaster. The buffet is open from 6:45 to 9:00 in the morning, so you need to start early to fully enjoy eating and digesting. We booked a hotel with breakfast included, which I believe is normally priced at 1300 yen.

Underestimated the three crab course! The portion size and cost performance exceeded expectations. Impressed by the efficient serving staff. Want to revisit on New Year's Eve.
