Cuisine and content: Gathering of young relatives with lots of kids. I wanted to see the kids after a long time, so I accepted the invitation and visited. The place is quite spacious. Families with kids and young people are all here. It's a bustling scene around 7 pm on a weekday. Since everyone is visiting for the first time, we had a strategy meeting (laughs). We have 100 minutes to order, but we don't know how to pace ourselves. We decided to start by chatting less and drinking and eating more! All agreed on this plan (laughs). So, let's get started! The kids quickly got used to ordering juice on the touch panel. I started with a bottle of beer. It was crowded, so I had to wait a while. Then I had shochu with hot water, black sugar plum wine with soda, and had a few refills of a drink called "makkori." I also had some sake and took a short break with a highball, then had more makkori. For food, we ordered King salted tongue, scallion salted King tongue kalbi, three kinds of kalbi, thick King kalbi, harami, King loin hormone, tender hormone, grilled shrimp, grilled scallops, grilled vegetable platter with corn butter, and chive pancake. We ordered about 20 servings of Korean seaweed (laughs). We also had a platter of three kinds of kimchi, radish kimchi, kalbi soup, vegetable soup, seaweed soup, stone bibimbap, vegetable hot pot, and salmon tea pickles, etc. We kept ordering and ordering. There were 15 of us, including kids. The staff were also in a panic trying to keep up with our orders. We kept telling the noisy kids, "We don't have much time, so eat quickly." When a child asked for a refill of juice, the staff said, "Normally, it's not allowed, but today it's okay because it's all-you-can-drink." We just kept grilling and drinking, grilling and drinking, and chatting, and before we knew it, it was the last five minutes to order. We hurried to place our final order, each ordering about two more drinks (laughs). We were rushed to order dessert. "Is a platter of three desserts okay?" "Okay, hurry up, hurry up." "How many pieces?" "About six, just order it." Our energy for the last push was amazing (laughs). But, alas, it's over. What a shame that I couldn't order coffee (laughs). It was a fun event, wasn't it? In conclusion: You have to hurry or you won't make it in time. Thank you, Yakiniku King Chihaya branch!
