In the end, no matter what you eat, the egg sandwich is delicious with two different flavors to enjoy. Both sauces are delicious and carefully made. I also had a melon cream soda as a side dish.

From the previous generation to the current one, and onto the next, they strive to provide the best without compromise. It seems to be in their DNA. This café stands out with its unique charm. At 2:30 on Sunday. I stopped by after having Indian curry. It's quite close to JR Saga Arashiyama Station, but on the north side, so there are hardly any people around. I had a fruit sandwich and a blended coffee in the calm interior. The fruit sandwich had cream and fruits on top, resembling a cake. The blended coffee was best with sugar and milk added. It was delicious, but I ate a bit too much. The fruit sandwich had two layers divided into six pieces, perfect for sharing with about three people. They also have branches in Shimogamo and Gion.

It is a specialty coffee shop that has been in business for over 50 years since 1969. - Shop atmosphere Located a 1-minute walk from the city bus stop Sagano Setogawa-cho, and a 4-minute walk from JR Saga Arashiyama Station. The shop is situated in the southeast block of Marutamachi-dori Kiyotaki-michi. I arrived at the shop entrance on a Sunday at 2:39 pm. Despite the rainy weather, there were quite a few customers, with more than half of the seats occupied. Most of the customers were groups of 2-3 people or 4 people, mostly middle-aged and elderly. The interior design is unified in brown, with chandeliers on the ceiling and paintings on the walls. Although the wall colors vary, the atmosphere inside is not much different from the Shimogamo branch. - Fruit Sandwich (1200 yen) I was captivated by the rich colors and volume, so I decided to order it. The sandwich is cut into 2 layers x 6 blocks, with fresh cream and fruits sandwiched between the bread. The fruits inside are melon, orange, kiwi, pineapple, and yellow peach. The fruits are slightly firm and juicy, while the cream is sweet and fluffy. The texture is also very pleasant. All the fruits go well together, but personally, I like the combination with yellow peach. It is very delicious, but it may be a bit filling, so it could be a meal replacement for those with a small appetite. - Iced Tea Milk (550 yen) You can choose between lemon or milk. This time, I chose milk. The tea aroma is there, but it is not overpowering and very easy to drink. The aftertaste is refreshing and has a pleasant flavor. It has been a long time since I posted about the Shimogamo branch, but I am happy to finally visit the main store. If I have the opportunity to visit again, I would definitely like to try their coffee.

The sugary iced coffee hits the spot, rich and delicious. Mixing it with a straw creates a satisfying crunch from the crushed ice. Yamamoto on Sunday was packed with people of all ages and genders. At 4:15 PM, the mixed sandwich was sold out.

It's the best. After sweating in the heat, there's nothing better than enjoying a strong iced coffee and a slightly sweet fruit sandwich in the cool interior. Wednesday 7:02 Coffee Shop Yamamoto On a weekday, I planned to visit Arashiyama in the morning and decided to stop by here right after opening. No other customers were there. I ordered a fruit sandwich for 1,200 yen, a special blend coffee for 580 yen, and a C set for 950 yen (hot tea included). 7:17 The C set arrived. I shared it with my daughter. It included salad, scrambled eggs, and three sandwiches. It was easy to eat and just the right amount for a morning meal. 7:29 The fruit sandwich arrived. Although you can order it in the morning, they mentioned they prioritize making other breakfast items first, so it took about 30 minutes. It had a generous portion and a striking appearance. My daughter, who was in a bad mood early in the morning (left at 6:20), suddenly brightened up at the sight of it. The sandwich was cut into 6 pieces, with whipped cream divided into 4 sections on top, making it a fun challenge to figure out how to eat it. It was a delightful and delicious treat that brought out the childlike excitement in us. Even after returning home, my daughter kept asking me to go back for the fruit sandwich. Depending on where you sit, it might be difficult to have a conversation and you might find yourself humming along to the Beatles during your stay. But I really like this place.

I ordered the C set, but it was so good that I think the D set would have been great too.
