In Osaka, there is a place called Bejo. They serve Spanish cuisine like ajillo, paella, jamon, and cava. It's a great spot for food and drinks in Osaka. Don't miss the pinchos and tapas! #food #foods #beer #wine #cava #spanish #ajillo #paella #jamon #cava #spanishcuisine #spanishbar #osaka #osakagourmet #pinchos #tapas

I stopped by casually. It's a Spanish bar? But for lunch, they had various menu items like Keema curry and pasta. I decided to try the Keema curry. I honestly didn't have high expectations, but it was quite delicious with a good amount of spices. I was a bit unsure about the soup, but it was drinkable. I wonder how it is at night. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Bejota Mas, a Spanish bar located directly connected to Shin-Osaka Station. It is a well-established Spanish bar company, and I often saw it on my way back from Tokyo, but I finally got to go! It was Friday, so it was full. We had to wait a bit before being seated. We ordered white sangria, Spanish potato salad, chicken liver pate, gizzard in olive oil, and an assortment of raw ham. We compared Iberico and Serrano raw ham. The Iberico ham from Bejota was particularly delicious. We also had broccoli fritters. The highly recommended dish was the crab and crab miso ajillo, which was really good! The chicken half was huge. Finally, we had Angus beef steak. The steak was a bit on the tough side since it was cooked in the oven, but the sauce was delicious.

I had some business to attend to in Shin-Osaka and decided to have lunch at this restaurant. It's conveniently located just 0 minutes away from the subway exit. While they do offer some Spanish dishes, it's more of a "bar" than a Spanish restaurant. Their specialty is Spanish ham and roast chicken. The "Roast Chicken Lunch" they serve for lunch is particularly enticing, and all of us ordered it. It's a bit of a hassle to dismantle the half-cut chicken while eating, but it's also quite fun. Eating the meat off the bone and devouring it is quite a wild experience. The meat is already flavorful on its own, but adding a bit of salt enhances the taste. It would be even better if they had some tangy sauce like lime to go with it. The simple meal of roast chicken, rice, and salad left us satisfied. And of course, the always delicious Jamón Ibérico ham was simply amazing!

I revisited this place to try the roast chicken lunch after having the pork cutlet lunch last time. The taste is amazing and the portion size is great for the price. I think it's better than the ramen shop and the fish shop next door, even though there's always a line here. I definitely want to come back again.

I used this restaurant on a weekday just before noon while on the move. I was debating between getting fish, ramen, or okonomiyaki, but all the other places had long lines so I decided to try this one which was empty. It turned out to be a great choice. The tonkatsu came with three different sauces so you could enjoy different flavors. At ¥980, it was quite a bargain. My colleague ordered the roast chicken which also had plenty of meat and looked really good.

On the way back from a business trip, I went to "BELLOTA +" which is pronounced as "Bejota Mas". The restaurant is located in the gourmet area "Shin-Naniwa Daishokudo" inside Shin-Osaka Station. I ordered the "Rosukatsuretsu Lunch" with extra white rice. The level of the cutlet was so good that it didn't seem like a Spanish bar at all.
Food Taste: 3.6
The "Rosukatsuretsu Lunch" comes with salad, soup, and white rice. The visual presentation was very impressive. The way the cutlet was presented, the colorful salad, and the hearty soup. It seems like they have greatly improved compared to past photos on Tabelog. The cutlet was thick and the meat was very tender. It was easy to bite through. The breading was firm but not hard on the teeth. It remained juicy even after some time, just like a specialty tonkatsu restaurant. Three types of sauce were served: rich cutlet sauce, demi-glace sauce, and creamy white miso sauce. The salad was delicious as it looked. The soup was surprisingly strong in consomme flavor and stood out as a dish. The only disappointment was the white rice, which is essential for a set meal. It had a lot of burnt-like parts on the surface, which raised expectations, but it was sticky and clumpy when picked up. It didn't have the individual rice grains and didn't go well with the cutlet. A bit of a letdown.
Service: 3.2
The staff greeted with a smile. There was an explanation about the three sauces when the dish was served. It was mentioned that the demi-glace sauce could be poured over the white rice. Extra white rice was free. Due to the reasons mentioned above, this will be excluded from the evaluation.
Atmosphere: 3.2
The interior had a bar-like design with no walls at the entrance. The background music was Western music with a lot of bright tunes suitable for young people. There were about three customers when I arrived, and the number of customers after me was unknown.
Cost Performance: 3.3
The "Rosukatsuretsu Lunch" costs 980 yen with free extra white rice. If this dish was served without knowing the price, I would easily pay 1200 yen without feeling any discomfort. Depending on the area, I believe 1500 to 2000 yen would still be considered normal. (Excluding the white rice from this assessment)
Overall, dining in the Shin-Naniwa Daishokudo area was a first for me and it was really good. I have high expectations for the other restaurants in this area as well.

I've had the Vegeta Masukatsu before and it was even more voluminous this time! You can enjoy it with tonkatsu sauce, white miso sauce, and demi-glace sauce, all of which are delicious. The cost performance is good, and when you order extra rice, it's so filling that it's almost painful... I will definitely go back again!

Visited with friends around 4:00 pm. Happy hour specials include draft beer, highball, lemon sour, and sangria for only 190 yen each! Wine and sparkling wine are also available for 380 yen each. Plus, all prices include tax! The draft beer was not only cheap but also delicious. The food was average, nothing special, but it's a good option before or after riding the Shinkansen. They accept credit cards and electronic money. Thank you for the meal.

I originally intended to have a light afternoon drink, but it turned into an evening affair, so I decided to start fresh. As I passed by a restaurant, I noticed that they still had a little time left for their happy hour with cheap drinks, so I decided to go in. Due to my impaired thinking, I ended up ordering a few recommended dishes from the young waiter and had a lively conversation. The waiter suggested splitting a dish into two since the number of dishes ordered didn't match the number of people, but we, being seasoned veterans of many competitive situations, told him not to worry about it. We're a group of middle-aged men who believe in "first come, first served." The roasted chicken being cooked slowly in the restaurant was tempting, but I didn't feel like it would sit well in my stomach, so I opted for something lighter. The Jamon Serrano was salty and went well with the drinks. The Pinchos had a strong acidic taste, which personally wasn't my favorite, but it did leave a refreshing sensation in my mouth. The Ajo Blanco was a must-have, as it's a staple for our camping trips with this group, which for some reason always seem to happen in December. The restaurant was located inside Naniwa Dining, providing an open and casual atmosphere that was easy to drop by.

We have arrived at Shin-Osaka via Tokyo from Sendai! ★3.47★ Oh, there's a rotating whole grilled chicken at "Shin Naniwa Daishokudo," which has become my recent favorite spot. This stylish restaurant offers great value for money! Located in a hard-to-find place for travelers, this place is a must-visit with great value for money. We visited around 19:00, with 40% occupancy. Even though I was dining alone, they let me use a table for four. The beautiful and young female staff members were very friendly and provided excellent hospitality. It seems that many solo diners visit here, regardless of gender. It's also suitable for couples or colleagues. We ordered the mini-sized roast chicken, Spanish-style cutlet, and two affordable skewers with a draft beer. The mini roast chicken was surprisingly large and perfect for two people. It's served with olive oil and coriander sauce with a crazy salt-like spice. A must-try! The cutlet was thin and slightly oily, but the Spanish-style sauce was delicious. Additionally, the anchovy tomato and olive skewers were only 90 yen each! The boiled egg and salami snack skewers were also 90 yen each! Surprisingly affordable and perfect with drinks. We enjoyed them with white wine and had a great time. Thank you for reading until the end. Ah, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal! ♬

After a long time, I decided to have lunch in Shin-Osaka and was eager to revisit a nostalgic restaurant, but all the popular places had long lines and I couldn't get in without waiting. So I wandered around Shin-Naniwa Daishokudo, which was not there when I was working. I was drawn to the sign for super spicy keema curry and decided to go in. As the name of the restaurant suggests, they pride themselves on Spanish Jamon Iberico ham and tapas dishes, and there is a wide selection of wines that I would like to try on a revisit in the evening. The curry was as expected - it seemed gentle at first bite, but as I continued eating, the spice flavor made me sweat from the inside. The miso soup that came with it surprisingly went well with the curry.

I had lunch at a Spanish bar called "Bejotamas" in the New Naniwa Daishokudo located right outside the north exit of Shin-Osaka Station Midosuji Line. The menu mainly consists of meat dishes, but they also offer Keema Curry. This time, I tried the recommended Roast Chicken. The taste was delicious, but it was a bit difficult to eat because it was bone-in. However, it is reasonably priced, offers free extra rice, and has a convenient location, making it a user-friendly restaurant.

I had dinner, but I decided to stop by a Spanish-style bar to see what kind of place it was. Inside the Naniwa Shokudo in Shin-Osaka, the dining area here has a casual and open feel with loose partitions between the shops. I ordered pork cutlet, onion dish, and mini gratin along with beer, all of which were in the 300 yen range, so it was cheap. Although I knew it was cheap, when the dishes arrived, I couldn't help but think they were small! The taste was okay. The gratin was delicious. It might be a good place to have a casual drink alone. However, it didn't have a relaxing atmosphere.

Before boarding the Shinkansen, I wanted to quickly eat something delicious, and I found a Spanish bar. I was pleased with how quickly the food arrived after ordering. And most importantly, it was cheap and delicious! The red wine stewed beef tendons were well cooked and the flavor was well infused. The mussel and potato stew had plenty of mussel broth and was excellent. The Spanish potato salad with anchovies and rock salt was tasty, and the mayonnaise on the side with anchovies was a nice touch! I also ordered an additional baguette which went well with the food. The rotisserie chicken seemed to be a specialty, so I ordered a mini size which was delicious. The cabbage with chicken broth had a gentle flavor. There was also a dish with mushrooms and prosciutto inside (I forgot the name), where the prosciutto was subtly present but tasty. The freshly squeezed sangria was delicious. All of these dishes and two glasses of sangria cost less than 4000 yen! It's so cheap! I would like to visit again when I have time and try the paella next time.

After returning from a trip, I wanted to have a light drink at Shin-Osaka Station. I wasn't very hungry, so I wanted to have some wine at this shop. It's the same shop as the one in the basement of Osaka Station. I was happy with the small dishes that go well with wine, such as tomato anchovy olive skewers, tomato and camembert, and deep-fried shishito peppers. They were delicious! You can also choose the size of the prosciutto, making it suitable for small groups. I recommend the seafood mini gratin, which goes perfectly with wine. I was happy that they had a good selection of glass wines. It's a great place for a casual drink at Shin-Osaka Station. The access is great. Thank you for the meal! ♡

* Today's lunch was roast chicken at a Spanish bar. At first, I tried to eat it with chopsticks, but ended up eating it with my hands.
* I want to enjoy this with some alcohol! The lunch menu is also plentiful. There are many tapas that go well with alcohol, so I want to come back at night.
* At Naniwa Shokudo in the basement of Shin-Osaka Station, if you use it for lunch, they distribute a 100 yen discount coupon that can be used at night, called the dinner subsidy. I must come back at night even more now.

Inside Shin-Osaka Station, at the Shin Naniwa Dai Shokudo. Today, I had lunch here. The restaurant has both counter seats and table seats, with a moderate capacity. They offer a variety of drinks, but they also have lunch menus available during lunchtime. I ordered the roast chicken lunch, ball salad, and highball. Let's dig in! The chicken is bigger than expected and has a satisfying taste. It also comes with basil sauce, which enhances the flavor. The ball salad, which can be added for an extra 100 yen, is quite large and I appreciate that. Overall, it was a delicious meal! During lunchtime, the salad is 100 yen, and you can get extra rice for free, making it a high cost performance meal. However, the miso soup is lukewarm and doesn't have any ingredients. The water is also at room temperature, so I couldn't enjoy these. Temperature is important after all.

It's been a while since I visited Bellota+ at Shin-Osaka Station. This Spanish bar located inside Shin-Osaka's Shin Naniwa Shokudo is very delicious. The paella, which can be ordered for four people, is highly recommended. I also often order the various types of aioli. And of course, you can't miss the jamon Iberico when you come here.
