Recommended by a friend, I made the effort to take the Hankyu train to visit this place! It's a super popular restaurant with customers constantly coming in to get takeout. You can choose between Osaka-style and Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki, so I tried both! They only had Clear Asahi beer, but it was so delicious that I didn't mind! Thank you for the meal!

You can enjoy authentic Osaka-style okonomiyaki at the retro and nostalgic atmosphere of the restaurant "Kintaro," which truly lives up to expectations. Located just a 1-minute walk from Dekijima Station on the Hankai Namba Line, this spacious restaurant is child-friendly. The menu includes okonomiyaki, negiyaki, yakisoba, teppanyaki, and other dishes. While there may not be any outstanding features, you can rely on the stable taste of Osaka-style okonomiyaki. The lunch menu offers great value, with options like yakisoba or okonomiyaki served with rice, miso soup, and pickles starting at 650 yen. It's also nice to have a Osaka-style lunch of white rice with okonomiyaki as a side dish. Thank you for the meal! (^O^)/

The traditional yakisoba ingredients include cabbage, pork, and bean sprouts. The simple yakisoba set comes with rice and miso soup for only 730 yen, which is a reasonable price for lunch. They even cook it on an iron plate right in front of you. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant.

This is a okonomiyaki restaurant near Dekijima Station! There are few restaurants near Dekijima Station, so this place is a great find! The restaurant has counter seats, tables, and tatami seating, and the interior is spacious. They serve a variety of dishes including appetizers, yakisoba, okonomiyaki, and negiyaki, and everything I've tried so far has been delicious! In the winter, they also offer oden. They have bottled beer, both Asahi and Kirin, which is convenient. I highly recommend trying the negiyaki with suji (beef tendon) and the yakisoba is also very tasty!

I visited the restaurant for the first time in two years. The interior has been renovated and looks spacious and clean. I ordered the "Beef and Green Onion Yakisoba" and "Mixed Yakisoba". Despite the busy lunch hour, the dishes arrived surprisingly quickly. The "Beef and Green Onion Yakisoba" had a well-seasoned beef with a generous amount of green onions, giving it a refreshing yet flavorful taste. The "Mixed Yakisoba" had a perfect balance of sweet sauce that coated the chewy noodles and the delicious flavors of pork, squid, and shrimp. Compared to other famous restaurants, this place doesn't fall short in terms of taste and value for money!

I went to meet a friend and had lunch together at a big restaurant with a wide interior. There were many solo diners, mostly older men, enjoying okonomiyaki with rice and miso soup. I didn't understand the concept, so I just ordered the okonomiyaki by itself. My friend ordered udon-yaki and yakisoba with rice and miso soup. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. As a bonus, is it considered junk food to have carbs on carbs? Or is it just the soul food of Osaka? Without saying a word, Kintaro-san served up a delicious okonomiyaki set meal. The end.

You can't go wrong with anything you eat here. First, try the butatama. The dough is flat but fluffy and delicious. The pork is well cooked and crispy. The grilled pork tendon is sweet and savory, with a perfect seasoning. You can add some doubanjiang for a spicy kick. The highlight is the butasoba. The broth is flavorful and the sauce is perfect. The noodles have a chewy texture. The pork okonomiyaki is rich in flavor, with a creamy egg that is fluffy but holds together well. This place truly serves exceptional dishes, so I highly recommend it.

I went for lunch with a friend. We planned to share three okonomiyaki, but the staff advised us to start with two first as it might be too much. We followed their advice and ended up only eating two, feeling satisfied. Both the pork and mixed okonomiyaki were delicious and fluffy. The cost performance was also great, as we spent around 2000 to 3000 yen for two people even after eating to our fill. I would like to come back to try other dishes like yakisoba and side menu items next time.

I went to a small traditional Osaka-style okonomiyaki restaurant near my house for lunch on my day off. I ordered a tonpeiyaki, pork modern, and a glass of beer. The tonpeiyaki had a very fluffy and creamy egg with a nice kick from the mustard, it was delicious. The modern okonomiyaki was quite ordinary and had a nostalgic and orthodox taste. The cabbage was very sweet and the noodles were perfectly cooked, not too heavy and very tasty. Be sure to visit this small traditional Osaka-style okonomiyaki restaurant at least once.
