The location of the restaurant has changed, but I mistakenly went to the old location. However, the staff kindly came to pick me up, which was so wonderful! I became a fan instantly. When I arrived at the restaurant, I was captivated by the various dishes that came out, and in the end, my heart was completely stolen. It was a lovely lunchtime. I also received various explanations about the wine, making it a fun and delicious time.

The appearance is beautiful and the food is delicious. I enjoyed the combination of seasonal ingredients, Japanese and French influences. From the appetizers to the cheesecake dessert, everything was perfectly portioned and tasty. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I enjoyed lunch at the restaurant Yamaguchi in Ginza. This is a new restaurant opened by a chef who used to work at the closed restaurant Yonemura. They have inherited Yonemura's flavors and added their own creative French touch. The restaurant has a small and cozy interior with counter seats at the open kitchen and regular tables. They offer a great selection of wines, including Kenzo Estate and Dom Perignon champagne. On this day, we had the place all to ourselves, as they only allow one or two groups of customers per service to maintain social distancing. We started with a glass of Henri Brut champagne, which was dry and easy to drink. The meal began with six appetizers featuring seasonal vegetables and elegant touches like grilled eggplant and amazake. The foie gras canape went perfectly with the champagne. The freshly baked baguette with walnuts inside was delicious, and we even got a refill. The consomme soup with plenty of matsutake mushrooms was a delightful combination of Western consomme and Japanese matsutake. The seafood salad with lobster and nectarine jelly topped with caviar was a refreshing dish. The fish dish featured sea bream stuffed inside a donko mushroom and seasoned with balsamic sauce. The cold pasta with a Japanese dashi broth had a gentle flavor. The main meat dish was Kyoto beef fillet, incredibly tender and flavorful with a hint of charcoal from grilling. The meal ended with a choice of curry rice or jyako rice. The curry rice, a staple at Yonemura, was spicy and delicious, made with Kyoto rice. For dessert, we had a palate-cleansing sherbet and a birthday cheesecake with brie cheese, which was rich and indulgent. The meal concluded with green tea and petit fours, leaving us feeling satisfied and full. My friend treated me to this meal, and we also bought some homemade chirimen-jako from Yamaguchi as a souvenir. The chirimen-jako was delicious, not too overpowering with sansho pepper. The owner of the restaurant was friendly, and the food was excellent, so I would love to visit again when they change the menu.

I went out for lunch. The Yonemura restaurant in Kyoto used to be inside Ginza Barney's, but it closed down. The chef from that Ginza Yonemura became the owner and chef of a new restaurant called Yamauichi. I decided to try it out for lunch first before going for dinner. I definitely want to go back again!

Thank you for the most happy birthday dinner. I kept saying "I will live happily at 22" about 10 times at the restaurant. I was already happy. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was great and the service was excellent. The food was made with seasonal vegetables and it was enjoyable to taste the freshness of the seasonal ingredients instead of heavy French sauces or saltiness. I plan to visit again.

I visited a restaurant that opened in April, taking over from the previous restaurant Yonemura. The interior was cozy and calm, with a counter seat facing the open kitchen and a table for one in the back. I opted for the ¥6,000 lunch course, which included: - Assorted appetizers: horse sashimi sushi, shrimp with tomato and apple, foie gras and mozzarella canapé, grilled eggplant, winter melon, pickles. - Hamo and matsutake mushroom consommé soup. - Homemade bread, 2 types, both delicious. - Suzuki sashimi with 5 kinds of condiments: mitsuba, onion, cucumber. - Cream croquette of hairy crab on top of corn rice, served with corn soup. - Cold pasta with octopus and tomato. For the main course, I chose the roasted baby duck with manzanilla pepper and peanut butter soy sauce. - Curry rice, a signature dish from the previous restaurant, with the option of adding dried fish. - For dessert, I chose cheesecake with vanilla ice cream and a refreshing brie cheese on top. I ended the meal with a delicious cup of coffee. Although there were no standout dishes, the 8-course meal was surprisingly filling and the staff created a pleasant dining experience. The restaurant is still new, so I look forward to seeing how it develops in the future. I would definitely visit again if given the chance. Thank you for the meal!

Visit date: June 15, 2018, 18:45 Restaurant Yonemura Ginza. I remember it very well as a very enjoyable and impressive experience. I called at the end of May to make a reservation for a dinner with a customer, but was informed that Yonemura had closed in March and the chef, Yamauchi, had opened his own restaurant. I made a reservation on the spot and went there. The restaurant is in the same location but the plates and cutlery have been updated. The style of placing chopsticks remains the same. We toasted with champagne glasses. The menu consists of a 15,000 yen course only. The first course was a stunning array of appetizers. It included various dishes such as tofu with Natto, marinated burdock and myoga, mozzarella cheese with foie gras, grilled ayu fish, grilled rice balls, and octopus sashimi. It was so much fun. Each dish was paired with a glass of wine. The bread was also excellent. Next came the soup and another dish. Gazpacho with young ayu fish wrapped in corn crepe tempura. The gazpacho had consomme jelly in it and was very refined and delicious. The fried clams with herb butter were also excellent. The main course was Kyoto black beef fillet and sirloin, which were both very flavorful and tender. The meal also included a choice of curry rice, dried young sardine rice, or soup pasta ramen. I chose the ramen with luxurious turtle soup, which was delicious. For dessert, I had cheesecake with white mold cheese on top, which added a strong cheese flavor. The customer had fruit jelly. We finished with espresso. The experience at Yonemura was still impressive, and I look forward to seeing the new flavors and creations at Yamauchi's restaurant.

I was able to visit the restaurant because I didn't know it had been renovated and the phone call went through to Yamana-san! Since it was just after the renewal opening, the staff were still a bit busy. It must have been tough since the kitchen is open and everything is visible. They were trying their best, even though they were not used to it, and I didn't get a bad impression at all. The dishes were all in just the right amount, making you want a little more of each, and they were presented beautifully. Each dish was small but there were many, so I ended up quite full... There were a wide variety of dishes in one course, including seasonal ingredients, pasta, and a choice of curry for the finale, so I was very satisfied. There were many reasonably priced and delicious wines, some of which I thought could be priced higher! If I had to say something, the combination of desserts was a bit too innovative for me, and I couldn't quite understand it... I don't eat sweets much, so I'm not sure if this feedback is helpful. I think the final impression is very important, and I wanted to rate the food 4.0, but... Still, everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great, so I will definitely visit again!!
