I went there with the national travel support♪ It's the dinner buffet on the 3rd floor of Niseko Hilton Village. For the main course, there were chicken skewers, herb pork, and braised abalone, and you could choose your favorite. There were also roast beef, chicken, and pork dishes in the buffet, so I should have chosen the abalone and braised abalone instead (^_^;) By the time the main course arrived, I was already full... Let's eat more strategically...

I stayed at the Hilton in Niseko so I'm posting here. Main and buffet. The quality of the buffet was surprisingly high!! It was so much fun. lol You can choose from 3 main dishes, chicken, pork, and fish. Of course, it's fish, right? lol The seafood was very delicious, it was a high-quality buffet. Thank you for the meal!!

Since the COVID-19 pandemic has caused a decline in foreign visitors, I have been actively visiting Niseko. In the summer of 2021, I stayed at "The Green Leaf Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve", and for snowboarding in the spring of 2022, I visited "Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono". For a summer retreat in 2022, I visited "Hilton Niseko Village". This time, I will introduce the breakfast experience at these locations. During my visit in the post-summer vacation period, the buffet area was calm and peaceful. The age group at mountain resorts like Niseko tends to be higher compared to beach resorts, and at our hotel, the clientele was quite stable, even with over 500 rooms. The Hilton Group has a clear membership system, distinguishing between regular and elite members, with special menus offered to the latter. I appreciate this clear approach and hope that other hotel groups like the Hyatt Group will follow suit. While the cuisine at places like "Park Hyatt Niseko Hanazono" may not emphasize local flavors, the variety of dishes caters to guests of all ages and preferences. I ordered a truffle omelette from the on-demand egg station, and it was delicious with just the right amount of truffle aroma. The culture of topping Tokyo beef with sea urchin, caviar, and truffle is something to ponder about. The special menu for elite members included a mysteriously unappealing bowl, but the sentiment behind it was appreciated. It may not exude luxury, but it conveys a message from Hilton to me, which I choose to accept. Overall, the timing of my visit allowed me to enjoy the meal and ambiance peacefully. Considering the high prices in the Niseko area, the breakfast at our hotel was of high quality for a resort priced under 20,000 yen per night. It might be a good idea to eat well during breakfast and skip lunch to save on costs.

I stayed at a hotel and had a morning buffet♪ Even though I'm not a big fan of buffet style, it was included in the accommodation package, so I tried it out(^^) I was guided to a calm seat at the far end and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast(^^) I was waiting for the waiter to ask if I wanted coffee or tea at the hotel's morning buffet, but they never came... Everything seemed to be self-service(^^) When I tried to pour tea into the pot, the lid slipped and wouldn't open, so I was struggling, and the waiter kindly opened it for me(^^) It seemed like they thought I didn't know how to open it, so embarrassing(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) Also, when I made a double espresso with the machine after eating, it overflowed from the espresso cup, and I felt embarrassed again(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) Oh no, so embarrassing(^^)(^^) I really don't like buffets after all(^^) It didn't feel very Hokkaido-like at the buffet, but I enjoyed a graceful time at the hotel buffet while looking at the nice view from the window♪ I recommend trying the outdoor bath at this hotel too! Please try it at night♪ The moon floating over the birch trees and the small lake, with a faint mist, is very mystical(^^) It's a wonderful outdoor bath♪ The next morning, I took a bath in the outdoor bath in the sunlight, and when I saw the view from the outdoor bath in the bright light, I was impressed again(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) It's a large hotel, but it wasn't too crowded, so I could relax and bathe♪ The view of Mount Yotei from the room is also nice♪ It was a great hotel(๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)

I stayed at the Ritz for accommodation, but had dinner at the neighboring Hilton with a buffet. The main pork dish was delicious. However, since everything else was all-you-can-eat, maybe it's okay to skip the main dish? Everything else was tasty too, but eating one item at a time filled me up. I ordered chicken 220g for 5,500 yen (tax and service charge 13% not included) and pork 180g for 5,300 yen. With Hilton Honors, I received a 10% discount. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for dinner on 9/17, and breakfast on 9/18 and 9/19. For dinner on 9/17, I had the Premium Yakiniku Set for 7800 yen before tax. I enjoyed a draft beer as part of the Hilton Honors Diamond drink service, choosing a Sapporo beer that I haven't seen much on the main island of Japan. The beer had a light taste, and I even saw canned beer at the MaxValu in Kutchan! As a Hilton Premium Club Japan member, I received a birthday cake as a special treat. The hospitality, mainly from Japanese staff, was excellent, but the main issue was the yakiniku. The key to good yakiniku is strong heat, but they used solid fuel instead of charcoal or gas canisters. As a result, the meat was only half as delicious as it could have been. I made a request for improvement on the feedback form on the final day, so I hope they will make changes for next time.

I visited a hotel for dinner for the first time and it was a buffet style dinner. In addition to the buffet, you could also choose a main dish, so I decided to go with the chicken steak. The chicken steak was cooked just right, crispy and delicious. The buffet had a wide variety of dishes including dim sum and desserts which I enjoyed. Wine was available for an additional charge with free flow options from sparkling to red and white wines. It was a fulfilling dining experience. Thank you for the meal!

My husband is a Hilton member and we often stay at Hilton hotels when we travel. This time, we visited Niseko Hilton for the first time! Although there are many restaurants, only Melt was open due to the influence of COVID-19. The seats were sofa type, with wine glasses set up, creating an adult atmosphere. At first, I was worried about bringing children, but there were also chairs for kids, and the overseas staff were very attentive to the children, waving goodbye and talking to them, which made me happy. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, with many mature individuals enjoying their leisure time with wine in hand. Even the elderly were enjoying drinks and food, which I found lovely. Dining while looking out of the large windows at the lush green scenery made the food taste even better. Especially in the morning, it felt wonderful. The food ranged from Hokkaido cuisine to international dishes, providing a variety of options to enjoy. There were many dishes that I don't usually eat, so I had fun trying them out. The desserts were also abundant, including chocolate fondue. In the back, there was a booth where they cooked omelets, tamagoyaki, and swordfish steak for you. Additionally, I was happy that the evening dishes changed daily. Of course, breakfast was also rich, with rice dishes, bread, cereal, fruits, and even ice cream available in the morning. On the last day, as it was a birthday trip, my husband ordered abalone, snow crab, and steak separately, which made me very happy. I couldn't drink because I was pregnant, but the staff noticed when the drinks were running out and came promptly, making my husband very cheerful as he continued to drink. There were times when our child started running around inside the restaurant, but the staff kindly dealt with it, which was a great help. Once our child-rearing days are over, I would like to come back with my husband and enjoy a leisurely drink. In terms of cost performance, it may be a bit expensive for a hotel buffet, but the service is good, and it's convenient for us with children to be able to return to our room quickly. As a side note, I was thrilled to find ROYCE chocolates in the room service!

Today, I stayed at a hotel at an altitude of 1898 meters where Mt. Yotei is still covered in snow, offering beautiful and majestic nature. I saw large butterbur plants during my walk and a cluster of violets. It seems that the ski resort is very popular among foreigners, but it might not be doing well due to the coronavirus. Many restaurant staff are foreigners. The hot spring has a pH of 6.8, but for some reason, it feels slippery like alkaline spring water. The buffet meal was enjoyable with no special notes.

Even if you look at the website, you won't know until you actually go. There was nowhere else to go, so I ended up at Melt for breakfast on the second floor. Dinner too. And even in the latter half of the trip, there were no other options, so Melt again. Dinner too. It was okay with the buffet alone, or with à la carte. The first day with all-you-can-drink, there were a lot of customers so I didn't mind, but the second time they were like, "It's almost time for you to leave." It felt like I had been there multiple times. The kid-friendly options were great, with hamburgers, macaroni gratin, corn soup, and a mountain of french fries. The pasta, cooked like udon, had carbonara, puttanesca, bolognese, meat spaghetti, and napoletana, which was a relief. As for à la carte, I can't eat deer meat much, but it became a memory of the trip.

I went to the second floor buffet-style bar & grill at Hilton Niseko Village. For dinner, you can choose a main dish which comes with access to the buffet. Of course, you can also order just the buffet, but it is quite expensive, so it's better to choose a main dish. I also ordered the all-you-can-drink alcohol option, which included red and white wine, champagne, sake, and shochu. I also had breakfast here the next morning. The menu was completely different from dinner. Breakfast had a strong focus on bread, but of course, there was also rice and its accompaniments. Dinner seemed to have a focus on seafood. Since there was nothing within walking distance of the Hilton, it felt like everything was self-contained within the hotel. There were many other dining options as well, so I look forward to trying them next time. Thank you for the meal.

At night, you can choose one main dish and the rest is buffet style. The interior has a luxurious hotel atmosphere. The buffet has a variety of options and is enjoyable, but unfortunately, the food was not delicious. Everything was okay, just average in taste. In the morning, breakfast was also buffet style in the same place, but they had omelets and eggs Benedict which was fun. Maybe breakfast is the better option!

I stayed at the hotel and had a delicious freshly made omelette for breakfast. It was rich with plenty of butter and spinach inside. The buffet had a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, and the quality of the breakfast in Hokkaido is just amazing. I had a nice seat with a view of the golf course outside. The coffee was also delicious, and I had a great morning.

Main dining at Hilton Niseko. We used it for breakfast during our stay. Every table has a large window with a view of Mount Yotei. Breakfast is a buffet with a variety of options, including locally sourced milk and vegetables. There is also an egg station with both Western and Japanese dishes. The food was average overall, with nothing particularly outstanding except for maybe the vegetable curry.

Breakfast was complimentary. The salad selection was impressive. The main dishes were fairly average in terms of variety and quality. The omelette made at the egg station was beautifully done. The shakshuka was incredibly delicious and impressive. It had a different twist with meat sauce added, but I might actually prefer it this way. The Hilton Honors bonus of salmon bowl and jelly was also tasty. Thank you for the meal. I ate a lot today as I plan to skip lunch.

Dinner options were limited as the neighboring village was closed, so I ended up dining at the hotel restaurant. Going out to eat would require a taxi ride costing thousands of yen, so dining at the restaurant seemed more cost-effective. I used my diamond perks for a discount and enjoyed a complimentary welcome drink. Since I don't drink alcohol, I happily had three drinks. The menu offered a half buffet with a choice of mains starting from 4800 yen. It's not cheap, but with the drinks included, kids eat free, discounts applied, and overall value considered, it was a good deal. The buffet selection wasn't extensive, but it was sufficient. I was surprised to find crab, although the meat was a bit lacking. I still made an effort to enjoy it. My main dish was the Makkari Village herb pork loin (220g) for 4800 yen. It was delicious and filling. The salsa served with it was tasty too. Overall, I ate a lot, enjoyed three drinks, and had a satisfying dinner experience.

I visited "Melt" in Niseko, which is one of the main restaurants in the "Hilton Niseko Village" hotel. Unlike other ski resorts in Niseko, the slopes here are steep and offer a thrilling skiing experience. Melt is a combination of a buffet and grill restaurant located within the Hilton hotel. As you enter the restaurant, you are greeted by a beautiful snowy landscape view. The buffet area offers a wide variety of dishes including crab, seafood, and salads made with Hokkaido vegetables. They also have vegetable curry, bread, and other delicious options. One unique feature of this restaurant is that you can choose one main dish to order. I opted for the grilled steak, which was quite generous in portion size. The buffet was a great way to refuel after a day of skiing. The hotel also has a great hot spring facility, so I recommend enjoying that as well. I paid for my meal with the room charge and settled the bill with a credit card at the end. It was a breakfast buffet. There were dishes like Shakshuka, omelets (cheese, mixed, vegetable), Eggs Benedict, steamed potatoes, meat and potato stew, hashed potatoes, potato salad, pumpkin salad, vegetable salad, smoked ham, smoked fish, rice, porridge, miso soup, tomato soup, curry, salted mackerel, spicy cod roe, chilled tofu (classic, creative), freshly baked waffles, hot cheese sandwich, cinnamon French toast, bread (bagels, croissants, butter rolls, etc.), yogurt, two types of cereal, fruits, frozen yogurt, and various soft drinks. The menu was quite extensive. The omelets, waffles, Eggs Benedict, etc., were made at a counter with a chef, but it seemed like they were prepared in advance as the dishes were always lined up. They weren't piping hot, but they were delicious. There were many egg and potato dishes, giving it a feel of the mountainous region of Hokkaido. Thank you for the meal.

This is a dinner buffet where you choose one main dish out of three options: Roast wild boar, roast beef, or fish dish (forgot the name). The rest is buffet style with paella, curry, pasta, beef stew, salmon sauté, crab soup, kushikatsu, pizza, ramen salad, zangi, spicy potato, nuggets, American dog, two types of cake, milk pudding, pumpkin pudding, chocolate fondue, fruits, and various soft drinks. The menu was just right with the main dish included, not too many items, but I wish there were a little more vegetables and desserts.

Also, next to the egg station, I discovered a corner called the rice ball station, but I might have just missed it before. You can choose fillings like pickled plum, grilled salmon, bonito flakes, grilled cod roe, or tuna, and have them made on the spot. Of course, the rice is Hokkaido-grown rice. However, they are not hand-rolled rice balls, but rather cut with a mold, so they are not authentic rice balls. Since there are many foreign tourists at the hotel, I thought it might be a bit scary if they learn the wrong idea that rice balls are made with molds, not by hand. Personally, I would like to teach them that rice balls are made by hand, but maybe they cannot provide hand-made food because of the large number of foreign tourists. Other than that, the content was satisfying as the previous day. The popular item was the omelet at the egg station on this day as well. Thinking about the cost, it might be better to eat smoked salmon or smoked herring, but I couldn't resist the omelet. I was able to consume a large amount of high-quality protein before hitting the snowy mountains for some serious skiing.
