I visited for the first time on March 31, 2023 (Friday) at 11:00. I arrived a little before the opening and checked the menu, but in the end, only the dumplings caught my eye. I was the first to enter and sat at the furthest counter to avoid pollen. I ordered the "dumpling set meal" with an additional order of 3 servings of dumplings, and requested a large serving of rice. I prepared the dumpling sauce and chili oil in small dishes and waited for the serving. During the wait, I checked the restroom, which was unisex and a bit run-down but clean. By the way, out of the 3 servings of dumplings, there were 3 with open mouths (╯︵╰,). It was a rare mistake for the craftsmen at Osaka Ohsho, but the sear and taste were of the usual quality, and the dumplings at Osaka Ohsho were delicious. There are many original combination menus and menus tailored for drinking, so I would like to visit again for a Chinese izakaya experience next time.

Visited around 9:00 PM. There are 6 counter seats and 6 tables in the restaurant. Last order is at 9:30 PM, so there were about 2 groups of customers already there. This restaurant offers a variety of set meals with toppings such as fried chicken, spring rolls, and rolled omelette. They also have a few side dishes like mapo tofu and scrambled eggs with wood ear mushrooms. The set menus may include some items that are not necessary, but you can find combinations that suit your taste here. Despite the many attractive set meals available, I opted for the fried rice and dumplings separately, which cost a total of 850 yen. The food arrived in less than 5 minutes. The portions may be slightly smaller compared to Kyoto, but the taste and oiliness are better here. It reminds me of a great dumpling restaurant in Kawashi or Ikeda. The fried rice is well-cooked and has a good oil balance. If I were to go again, I would choose this restaurant.

On September 23rd, I enjoyed a limited-time autumn ramen at Omoteura, and then wandered around the shopping street before ending up at Osaka Ohsho for some gyoza. I arrived a little after 5 o'clock, and since there were no other customers, I sat at the counter and ordered the gyoza set meal. Of course, it came with a big bowl of rice (laughs). After a few minutes of waiting, it arrived - Osaka Ohsho always cooks their gyoza well without needing to specify, which I really like. The small-sized fried chicken that came with it was okay. The Chinese soup was a nice addition at this price point. The staff at this Osaka Ohsho are all very friendly and welcoming, making the overall experience very pleasant. I'll definitely be back to try more of their energetic menu items. Thank you for the meal.

I was a little worried that the set meal would be too much for me, so I ordered just the dumplings and rice (regular size). I enjoyed the dumplings with the rice and was very satisfied. The rice portion felt a bit too much for me even in a regular size. It might have been better to go for a small size.

A Chinese restaurant near Hankyu Ishibashi Hankaidaigaku-mae Station. The interior is quite clean. The service is friendly, but not very efficient. This time, I ordered a set of Tianjin rice, fried chicken, and dumplings for 960 yen. The fried chicken was mediocre, but the Tianjin rice was delicious with crab sticks, and the dumplings were large. The cost performance is slightly worse than Gyoza no Ohsho, but it satisfies your appetite.

In January 2017, I had lunch at Osaka Ohsho. When it comes to Ohsho, the first thing that comes to mind is gyoza, but I had a sudden idea to try their ramen. Although there are famous ramen shops in Ishibashi, I decided to try the ramen at Ohsho today. The rich lunch service set was also appealing. The clean and quiet interior of the restaurant didn't feel like a typical Chinese restaurant, creating a relaxing atmosphere. I had the Half Chan Set for 860 yen, which included delicious salt ramen and half fried rice. The soup was tasty, light, and refreshing. It was different from what I had imagined, as I expected something rich and heavy, but the refreshing aftertaste may become addictive. My husband had the Ebi Chili set with gyoza, ebi chili, potato salad, soup, and rice for 1,030 yen. As a bonus, I left some of my ramen soup (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

It's the peak walking season, and today we walked 5 kms from Ikeda to Ishibashi in Kawashima. We had lunch at a Chinese restaurant called Osaka Osho, where I ordered the shrimp chili set with gyoza for 1,030 yen and my wife ordered the half portion set for 860 yen. The gyoza was a bit skinny compared to other places, which was a bit disappointing. My wife's ramen was delicious, and I ended up finishing her soup. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Next, we have to decide between continuing our walk to Osaka or having a midday drink.

Finally, I wanted to eat ramen, so three of us visited Osho Osho in Kabukicho. Although I had been there once before, this was my first experience at the original Osho in Osaka. Apparently, there are about 200 Osho restaurants in Osaka, which is quite impressive. The place was much cleaner and more spacious than I had imagined, almost like a family restaurant. We started with gyoza and fried rice, accompanied by beer. In the end, we all ended up ordering ramen. However, I wasn't in the mood for ramen, so I ordered Stamina fried rice instead. I couldn't finish it all, so I ended up eating the ramen quickly, with one of my friends helping me finish about a third of it. Overall, the food was decent, although the gyoza didn't leave much of an impression. The last order was at 9:30, which was quite reasonable. I did end up rushing to order more, which may have been due to overeating. I was surprised to see many young children there, but I guess it's a family-friendly restaurant in Osaka. Thank you for the meal.

(May 2011, night) On a weekday night, I went with about 4 people. I often go to Gyoza no Ohsho, but this is only my second time at Osaka Ohsho. This place used to be a conveyor belt sushi restaurant, but it had changed to Osaka Ohsho without me knowing. The store is relatively new and the interior is quite clean. There were quite a few people inside. This time, I ordered the daily special (760 yen). It came with liver and leek stir fry, fried chicken, soup, and rice. The taste was okay, I guess.
(September 2011, afternoon) On a Sunday afternoon, I went alone. I ordered the liver and leek stir fry set meal (890 yen). It came with liver and leek stir fry, salad, soup, and rice. It was delicious, but I felt like the previous time was cheaper and had better content...

I didn't like dumplings very much, so I didn't have much motivation to go when the restaurant first opened. However, I started to become curious because there was a sign at the storefront saying that takeout dumplings were sold out from time to time. I decided to go after playing. I ordered the classic dumplings, of course, and also tried other dishes like bang bang chicken. The champon had noticeably fewer ingredients in real life than in the menu photo. The taste is not bad. The dumplings are really delicious. The skin is crispy and the inside is juicy. The bang bang chicken was better than expected. I also want to try the steamed shrimp dumplings.
