It was late at night, so I decided to stop by a Sukiya restaurant that I happened to pass by to grab dinner. It was my first time at Sukiya, and I was a bit confused by the touch panel machines at the entrance. I realized that you have to order at the table using the touch panel. I chose a beef bowl since that's what Sukiya is known for. There were different sizes available, so I went for a regular size with cheese on top. You can also customize your order with extra toppings like sauce or green onions. The beef bowl was quite filling, even in the regular size. It was tasty, but my friend who had the cheese beef bowl mentioned that it wasn't as flavorful as other beef bowl chains. Overall, it's a matter of personal preference. I wish they would display the calorie content and portion sizes on the menu for better clarity.

I used to give raw eggs to my friend, but this time I tried the raw egg in myself. Oh my, it's actually pretty good. But still, I don't really need it (laughs). I wish they would give a discount for the raw egg. I was surprised that the apple in the bag that comes with the kids' set was actually delicious. The young female staff who kindly dealt with the issue of the bonus toy was very helpful!

Today, I hurried to deliver a colleague's forgotten item in Omuta City and quickly returned to Kurume. I decided to stop by the Sukiya restaurant in Omuta City, focusing on speed. I ordered the beef bowl large set, which comes with a raw egg, pickles, and miso soup. The taste was still on the lighter side, so I added some shichimi spice and soy sauce to make it richer. Maybe I'll try a menu other than the beef bowl next time (laughs).

I had a business trip to Omuta in Fukuoka Prefecture. I decided to have a meal at a nearby Sukiya restaurant. There was a flag flying outside the store with "una-gyu" written on it. Seeing this made me crave una-gyu! I ordered the una-gyu special (2 pieces of grilled eel for 1,280 yen including tax) and okra salad set (190 yen). The bowl that came out was truly a Japanese surf & turf! The eel was not grilled, but more like simmered. It had a soft texture similar to flounder or sole. Still, if you can enjoy this volume at this price (just over 1,000 yen), it might be worth it.

I've only ordered negitama before, but it's always delicious.

My wife was out until evening and didn't have time to cook dinner, so we decided to stop by Sukiya for takeout. I had the Spicy Cod Roe and Mayonnaise Beef Bowl (large size), while my wife had the Three Cheese Beef Bowl (regular size). The Spicy Cod Roe and Mayonnaise Beef Bowl had a great combination of spicy cod roe and mayonnaise, giving it a delicious kick. The Three Cheese Beef Bowl had melted cheese that coated the beef, creating a smooth and tasty flavor. Adding Tabasco sauce for some extra spiciness also tasted great.

I was tired from yesterday's live performance, so I decided to take it easy and have a meal at Sukiya for the first time in a while. I ordered the newly released Spicy Cod Roe Mayo Cheese Gyudon that I saw in the commercial, while my wife ordered the Three-Cheese Gyudon with melty cheese. Even before taking a bite, I thought it would be delicious, but the spicy cod roe mayo's spiciness and the creamy texture of the melted cheese matched perfectly. It was also delicious when I added some shichimi spice on top. ❤️ It was a wonderful experience.

After getting married, I rarely had the chance to go, but I finally went to Sukiya after a long time! I usually order the Cheese Gyudon, Takana Mentaiko Mayo Gyudon, or Maguro Yukke Don, but today I tried the Mayo Garlic Fire Gyudon that caught my eye. It was delicious with a strong garlic flavor! The combination with mayo was excellent ❤️ However, as the name suggests, it was quite spicy haha.
