Jazz cafe located about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Takatsuki. The cafe has a long counter with luxurious chairs. I knew it was one of the stages during the Takatsuki Jazz Festival, but it was my first time visiting. It has a great atmosphere. The owner manages everything alone but efficiently takes orders. Tea is served in a pot, and all menu items are 500 yen, which is a great deal. I wish I had read reviews beforehand, as it was mentioned that on weekends, chatty older ladies tend to gather during the day... I would like to come back when it's quieter. The iced coffee was served generously in a glass. It had a mild flavor with a hint of bitterness.

This is the owner's shop, who is the organizer of the Takatsuki Jazz Street event! Located midway on Jokita Street when walking from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station, about a 3-4 minute walk. I ordered a bagel along with coffee as I was feeling a little hungry. I enjoyed a leisurely cafe time while listening to jazz music! The atmosphere is different at night, creating an adult-like space! JK-san has various shops in the Takatsuki and Tomita areas, so be sure to check them out.

After having lunch and drinks at the tropical restaurant upon the request of the Tokyo members, we continued to this cafe on Jouhoku Street. It may have been the first time visiting this place since the start of the pandemic. The sofa used to be camel-colored, but it seems to have been replaced with a burgundy one. The sofa is large and you sink into it comfortably. The dim lighting in the cafe makes it easy to doze off on this sofa. I decided to take a break from alcohol and ordered an "Iced Espresso". It has a stronger coffee flavor compared to regular iced coffee. Live jazz music started playing in the cafe. It still feels like a luxurious evening setting even though it's daytime. It was a delightful experience.

The third stop on the Takatsuki food tour was the classic cafe "JK Cafe." Located a short walk south from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station, the cafe is situated at the southern end of the Jokita Street shopping district. I ordered the "milk crepe" and "iced coffee." It was a spontaneous visit for a break as I had been walking quite a bit that day.
- Food/Taste: 3.5
The "milk crepe" had a gentle sweetness. The crepe was thin, and the cream was dense, maintaining its shape when cut in any direction. The "iced coffee" was served generously in a large glass. It had a light bitterness and could be customized for those with a sweet tooth. Both dishes were consistently delicious.
- Service: 3.2
The staff provided polite service with a natural touch tailored to locals. When I was unsure about seating, they guided me to a four-person sofa. They also made sure no other customers were in the background when taking photos.
- Atmosphere: 3.4
The interior was a perfect representation of a classic cafe, contrary to the exterior. It was more spacious than expected, with jazz music playing in the background. There were about five customers when I arrived and more came later. Some seemed like remote workers. I was able to relax and rest my legs comfortably.
- Cost Performance: 3.0
The "milk crepe" was 500 yen, and the "iced coffee" was 500 yen as well. There didn't seem to be any set discounts. While slightly pricey, considering the location, it seemed reasonable.
- Drinks: Included in the above.
Overall, the cafe is not far from the station and provides a good environment for relaxation.

Visit on January 10, 2021, Post on January 13, 2021 (all information is from the time of the visit) (all prices include tax) - A quick solo drink in the evening. On January 10th, at Honro, in the evening. Representing the family, I visited Nomi Shrine alone. I also had a canned whiskey highball at a food stall before heading home. Still feeling like I hadn't had enough to drink, I happened to pass by JK Cafe on Jokita Street. I casually peeked inside and saw no customers. They had beer, whiskey, brandy, wine, and cocktails. They also had Wi-Fi. I entered and sat at the counter, looking at the menu. - Hennessy VSOP ¥1000 - Cafe Conjielato ¥500 Despite the cold earlier, the walk back with fuel in me wasn't cold at all. It's strange how alcohol and ice, not something warm, can make you feel warm. The calories must be high haha.

I stopped by at a place on the Hankyu Takatsuki side because I wanted to have some tea and light snacks. I was hesitant to ask about Jazz because I don't know much about it, but I was too hungry to care. I had a Cinnamon Latte and a Bagel Sandwich for 700 yen, which was a set price. Normally, each item costs 400 yen, so it would have been 800 yen in total. The Bagel Sandwich was bigger than I expected and very satisfying. The Cinnamon Latte was delicious. I visited around 3 pm on a weekday, and it wasn't too crowded. The drinks and food were both good. Even though I don't know much about Jazz, I was able to relax and enjoy the lovely music.

I was taken to a restaurant by a friend who lives in Takatsuki. As expected, there is no disappointment in the shops recommended by the locals! It was a wonderful place where you can drink reasonably at night and enjoy music. The cozy, woody interior with fluffy sofas makes you feel so relaxed that you might fall asleep. Despite the temptation to stay longer, the drink prices are unbelievably reasonable. It's a cafe with a comfortable atmosphere, with live music and a great place to relax. Even though I can't drink, I was happy to enjoy it with my friends who wanted to drink without feeling awkward. We also had cake on this day ♡

It's a bit dimly lit... and this sofa is the best!! Anyone would fall asleep in an instant... haha, actually, only that person fell asleep... lol
During the High Tatsuki ladder tour, after getting the elusive cream puff, we visited the next shop... Depending on the time, you can also listen to live music at the "JK Cafe," a highly rated adult cafe where jazz lovers gather.
Soft drinks are mostly around 400 yen. We ordered our favorite drinks and made a toast~!! After cooling down a bit, let's go to the next shop~
Next time, I want to visit in the evening and try the cake set. And then, enjoying some drinks while listening to live music sounds lovely, doesn't it? ♥
By the way... Live music times:
Weekdays 19:00-21:00
Weekends and holidays 15:00-17:00, 19:00-21:00
Live music is no cover charge, tip-based. Please contribute to the tip jar near the entrance ♥♡ᵕ̈*⑅

Visited in August 2019 with a rating of 3.25 on Tabelog based on 25 reviews. For my third stop in Takatsuki, I decided to take a break from the heat and went to "JK Cafe" located in the Jokita shopping street. The cafe is run by the owner of the familiar "Jazz Street" in Takatsuki, and there was a drum set near the entrance indicating there might be live music today. Unfortunately, there was no performance while I was there. The cafe had a calm atmosphere with luxurious-looking sofa seats in the back. It was a bit warm inside, so I used the menu as a fan, but was warned by the staff not to damage it. The air conditioning wasn't very effective, and as someone who doesn't handle heat well, it was a bit tough in the middle of summer. I cooled down with a mango juice, which was a summer special. I'd like to visit again in cooler weather. Thank you for the meal.

The third stop on our food tour in Takatsuki is JK Cafe. Just hearing the name from the Takatsuki Goodwill Ambassador already sparks some wild imagination, but the cafe itself is a cozy place with nice dim lighting. Located about a 3-minute walk south from Hankyu Takatsuki-shi Station, the cafe doesn't actually have high school girls (JK) inside, but the comfortable sofa seating is perfect for some relaxation. The drink and food menu are all reasonably priced at around 400 yen. I tried the iced cafe latte, which was perfect for cooling down after walking in the heat. The owner of the cafe also runs the Takatsuki Jazz Street, so live music performances are held here daily. Unfortunately, we had to leave before the live music started, but I would love to come back and enjoy some music in this laid-back atmosphere.

After eating the elusive cream puff, we visited a cozy cafe guided by the Takatsuki goodwill ambassador, Ham-chan. The cafe, called JK Cafe, seemed like a high school girls' cafe from the name! Upon opening the door, we were greeted by a spacious and comfortable sofa. It was a cafe for adults with zero high school girls' image (●´ー`●). We enjoyed listening to piano and jazz performances while relaxing. The drinks and meals were all around 400 yen, super reasonable! We all raised our glasses in a toast。゚(゚^∀^゚)゚ I had a lemon squash, which was refreshing with a hint of carbonation to quench my thirst (⁎˃ᴗ˂⁎). And then, R-san fell asleep instantly in this chair, claiming to be meditating... I almost fell asleep myself, it's a mysterious sofa (〜 ̄▽ ̄)〜 We chatted away without realizing in this cozy and welcoming cafe. It's a great place where you can listen to live jazz every day, so I thought it would be nice to enjoy a drink while listening to music. It's truly a wonderful place•*¨*•.¸¸♬︎

After leaving the tropical restaurant, we headed towards the Hankyu side while introducing our friends to restaurants in Takatsuki City. It only takes a few minutes to walk, but walking in this heat really makes you sweat a lot, right? So, the request from the group was for a café where a large number of people can relax. When it comes to famous cafés on the Hankyu side, it's JK Café. The owner of this shop also operates a famous jazz street in Takatsuki City. You can listen to music performances at the shop at night, so it's a must-visit place for music lovers. Moreover, despite all the drinks being authentic, they are all provided at a very reasonable price of around 400 yen. ☆ Lemon Squash (400 yen) Lemon's refreshing taste is perfect for the hot summer, right? It was delicious. Next time, I want to go drink a delicious drink during the live music performance time. ♬

Always lucky girls' gathering (๑•̀ㅁ•́๑)✧ Managed to get the extremely popular cream puff for 50 yen each! Then, taking a break from the scorching heat of the day, we visited a cozy cafe in Takatsuki, guided by the foodie ambassador of Takatsuki on Tabelog♡♡ "JK Cafe" is a nice place where you can enjoy live music at certain times (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡ The drinks are all around 400 yen, which is a rough estimate. The sofas there completely embrace you, which is so nice♡♡ The main organizer and the man known as the "Sleeping Merry" quickly fell asleep on the sofa... (⊃ωー`).。oO A rare sight, isn't it, such a wonderful sofa♡♡ With the dimmed lighting, the atmosphere made the man look even more stern♡♡ A sleeping man and a stern man... a rare sight, isn't it♡♡ After such an experience, the bill came out to be exactly 2400 yen for 6 people, not around 400 yen as expected, but exactly 400 yen each (*˘︶˘*).。.:*♡ Without even knowing the meaning of "JK," we left the lovely cafe behind (*´◒`*)♪♪

I wanted to go to a place where I could have a drink while eating at two different places on the same day, but I couldn't find a suitable place. So, I decided to have a final coffee. The place I visited had a wooden interior where you could relax and enjoy your coffee. My husband had a double espresso, and I had an iced espresso. The rich aroma of the iced espresso lingered after drinking it. JK Cafe is a precious place where you can enjoy delicious coffee even late at night. The nighttime drink menu is usually around 500 yen. However, I found out later that if you drink soft drinks at the counter, it's only 400 yen. Check out my blog for more details [Here is the blog link].

One day, I had the afternoon off from work. Originally, I was supposed to finish work before 1 pm, but it got delayed by an hour and ended around 2 pm. I was feeling lightheaded and hungry. It was already past lunchtime and most restaurants had finished serving lunch. I passed by JK Cafe and decided to go in, hoping to find something to eat like a sandwich. The inside of the cafe was warm and cozy, and the owner greeted me with a warm smile, saying I could sit at a table or on a sofa. I checked the menu and ordered a Salami, Tomato, and Lettuce Bagel Sandwich, which was warm and crispy, with a perfect balance of salty salami and juicy tomato. I also had a Cappuccino with Cocoa, which was frothy and had a nice cocoa flavor. The menu listed prices around 400 yen, but my total bill came to 700 yen. Some regular customers came in, and one of them gave the owner a gift, which he shared with me. It was a very homely cafe, and it was a much-needed break from my busy days.

I visited this place after about 10 years, and it remains the same - surrounded by trees, with a cozy feeling due to the high ceiling and open space. They usually have jazz live performances in the evening with a pay-what-you-want system, which is nice and casual. I wasn't sure what to order, so I went with the sugar toast, but I think I should have chosen the bagel sandwich instead! Surprisingly, everything on the menu is only 400 yen, which is a luxury in this setting. If this place was near my home, I would definitely visit often. ☕

After enjoying a satisfying "Japanese set meal" at Tsukizaki-san, we visited this cafe located on Jokita Street. The entire interior is made of wood, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy coffee. Since all the sofa seats on the first floor were taken, we opted for the counter seats. JK Cafe offers a drink menu where "everything is around 400 yen". My husband had a "double espresso" while I chose an "iced espresso". It was a relaxing moment with coffee after the meal. Thank you for the meal. JK Cafe has a dark and calming atmosphere, which is a nice change from the flashy shops in the shopping district. The big sofa makes you want to sit down and relax. I was curious about what a "cappuccino cocoa" was, but it turns out it's just a cappuccino with cocoa on top. I was surprised that it was bitter instead of sweet because of the cocoa. The fluffy foam made it delicious and relaxing. The milk crepe was average. Suddenly, there was live jazz music playing, which was cool. Live music is a luxury. I didn't realize that some people come here specifically for the jazz. I went with a friend to chat, but it was difficult because of the music. Still, I enjoyed listening to it. It was a valuable experience. Thank you for the meal.

JAZZ live performances are often held at this place, which is also the operating headquarters of Takatsuki Jazz Street. The atmosphere of the shop was great, and the bagels and coffee were quite delicious.
- Bagel: 300 yen
- Coffee: 300 yen
I have been casually sharing my dining experiences mainly in the Kansai region since 2012. The reviews are based on personal gourmet reports. I have visited all the restaurants mentioned. There is no conflict of interest with any of the establishments.

I went to "JK Cafe" located near Jokita Street just after exiting Takatsuki Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. The stylish exterior gives off more of a bar vibe than a cafe. There are counter seats and table seats, and this time we were seated at a table. The luxurious leather sofas were so soft that I couldn't help but feel a bit uneasy. The dim lighting added to the bar-like atmosphere. When looking at the menu, there were no individual prices listed, just a bold statement saying "All around 300 yen". I ordered the "Fuzzy Navel" and the "Cheesecake". The moist and tangy cheesecake that lightly touched my lips was delicious. Despite its generous portion, it was a great deal at 300 yen. As I finished the cake and relaxed, jazz live music started playing. I used to dabble in playing bass and keyboard, so listening to live music like this made my body naturally move to the rhythm. Thank you for the meal!
