If asked if I want a million, of course I'll take it, that's obvious! They also serve yellow soba from 6:30 in the morning at this cafeteria. When I asked for "yellow soba," they asked me if I meant "yellow soba." Here, they call it "Kitano Kii" soba instead. The yellow soba (tax included 300 yen) is the classic crunchy yellow soba with a very flavorful broth, although it's a bit salty. It would be better if it was a bit less salty, but it was delicious. Thank you for the meal. It seems like you can order "ramen with a strong flavor" if you're a regular here. It's a bit confusing because some people pay before eating and some pay after.

On Saturday morning around 7:30 am, I had breakfast at a restaurant in the Higashi Osaka area, specifically in Hishie, Aramoto, and Nakano Ramp. I ordered the "Yakimeshi" for 440 yen, which is highly recommended in reviews. Although I wanted to try the "Tamagoyaki" for 150 yen as well, I wasn't very hungry, so I just ordered the Yakimeshi. The service was quite fast, which was convenient before heading to work. Other customers were ordering items like "Oden," small dishes from the glass case, and "Nakameshi." The Yakimeshi was delicious, moist, with a nice salty flavor reminiscent of the lunch I used to have at a friend's house on Saturdays during my childhood. The dish was served on a retro-style plate, bringing back memories of similar plates we had at home. Next time, I would like to try the well-cooked "Oden" or other side dishes. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

Located in Higashiosaka City, Hishi-cho 2-chome, about 500m south from the intersection of Kawachinakano Minami, where the Nakano IC of the Hanshin Expressway Higashi-Osaka Line is located. I visited the popular diner Hyakumando. The parking space in front of the store was almost full, but I found a spot for my car and went inside. Upon entering, there was a display case with various side dishes on the right. Regular customers were picking out their side dishes and ordering rice and miso soup. It seems like everyone has their own favorite lunch set. Today, I ordered the fried rice for 440 yen and pork miso soup for 210 yen. There were table seats and counter seats available, so I sat at an empty seat. Payment is made to the staff after the meal. Now, the fried rice. The grains were fluffy and the pickled ginger added a nice touch. The presentation was also nice. Don't underestimate this popular diner. The quality is quite good. The pork miso soup was simple but flavorful with pork, bean sprouts, seaweed, and green onions. It was delicious! The speed of service was also impressive, just like a popular diner should be. I wish there was a great restaurant like this near my neighborhood. I'd like to find my own original lunch set like the regular customers. I've decided to come back here again. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Delicious fried rice! In March 2023, during lunchtime, the local popular diner where the parking space in front of the shop gets full of cars, "Fried Rice and Thick Chinese Noodles!" "Large Fried Rice and Tamagoyaki!" Order while choosing side dishes before taking a seat. It takes less than 30 seconds from entering to ordering. First, I had oden... Beef tendon and thick fried tofu. The sweet broth of oden exceeded my expectations and was delicious! Fried Rice: ¥440, Tamagoyaki: ¥150, Oden: ¥200, Total: ¥790. This fried rice is really delicious! It goes perfectly with Tamagoyaki. Adding the beef tendon from oden to the fried rice... Delicious! It was definitely a great meal. Thank you for the feast! ❤️

I, who loves things, also rode the first train and went to the restaurant around 6:15. There was already a car in front of me, and it seemed like a tough-looking person was eating. I walked through the city that had not yet woken up at night, holding a route map in my hand. As a side note, I don't trust maps too much! "Turn left here" - there's no road! I'm not a ninja, you know (laughs). What I ordered was the "yellow meat" that everyone was excited about, and fried rice. I ordered a ramen with a base of bonito and seafood, and it was delicious. The fried rice seemed to be pre-made and reheated, but it had a strong flavor and a perfect balance with the sweet beef. I have eaten a lot of fried rice, but this was the most "fried rice-like fried rice" I've ever had. However, at this time, everyone's orders were like "extra thick Chinese flavor" and "extra miso flavor," clearly meant for professionals (laughs). The friendly flower shop owner sent me off into the city as it was starting to brighten with the sunrise, and I saw several light trucks lined up in front of a professional materials store, with craftsmen coming out one after another. The strong craftsmen's morning had already begun.

A long-time BM "Hyakuman-do" has a spacious and clean interior, with a friendly old man providing great service! The owner, who often appears in reviews, left after the lunch rush.
★ Yakisoba: 450 yen tax included. Lots of vegetables like cabbage, onions, bean sprouts, carrots, and pork are a delight!
★ Tonjiru (pork miso soup): 190 yen tax included. It's piping hot with lots of pork, cabbage, and bean sprouts! It's no wonder many customers order rice and this pork miso soup! It was a heartwarming experience!

I went there after 1 PM. The elderly lady at the counter served me. I grabbed some cold tofu from the display case and sat at a table. I had meat udon, rolled omelette, and rice. The freshly made rolled omelette was delicious. The meat udon had only meat and green onions, but the broth was incredibly tasty. The lady at the counter handled the payment at my table. It cost 960 yen and I was full. Thank you for the meal.

I arrived at the restaurant at 1:00 pm on a regular day and had a meal for one person. When I left at 1:15 pm, I had a delicious meal of yakimeshi, tamagoyaki, oden, and tamagoyaki for a total of 440 yen, 140 yen, 200 yen, and 100 yen respectively. The food had a home-cooked feel to it, not like the typical fried rice. The tamagoyaki and oden also had that homemade taste. It's not fancy, but that's what makes it great. The dashi broth had a personal touch to it. If this restaurant was in my neighborhood, I would definitely be a regular customer. Thank you for the meal, I look forward to visiting again someday.

I tried a popular diner that I had been curious about near the corner of the bus street, close to Kohnan and Life. Even though it was past lunchtime, it seemed to be open. I had a late breakfast there. A woman was in charge of cooking in the kitchen, while an older man handled the customer service. The man seemed to take a break once the rush of customers settled down, preparing to read the newspaper. I didn't want to disturb him, so I finished up quickly, but I really liked the cozy atmosphere. The food was a standard set meal with miso soup, and I added an extra dish. I chose the plate with tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette), which came with 2-3 side dishes (in foil plates). The tamagoyaki was a bit cold since it was not a busy time, but it was still delicious. The rice and miso soup were served hot right after ordering. The miso soup with wakame seaweed, pickles, even though they were side dishes, were so good that they almost became the main dish... I was satisfied with just the right amount of food, and it cost around 1200 yen for two people. Freshly made Japanese food in the morning really warms the heart. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant in the morning around 8:40. I was feeling a bit hungry so I ordered a meat udon to enjoy slowly. The udon had soft noodles and thin slices of flat harami meat, which was unusual for meat udon. The broth was made with bonito and light soy sauce, and had a slightly cloudy appearance. The dish also had sliced green onions. I couldn't finish the broth as I was reminded by my family not to drink all the soup from ramen and udon. The meal cost 410 yen. I would like to visit this place again for breakfast if I am in the area.

Yellow soba (280 yen including tax) was as usual with a strong bonito dashi and a slightly salty taste. The ramen (400 yen including tax) had the same noodles as the yellow soba, but the soup was light so the noodles tasted sweet. The potato in the oden was a bit burnt, but it was still delicious. It was a delicious meal. Thank you.

I visited a shop that is closed on Sundays and holidays, and has a closing time of 3 pm, which I personally find a bit intimidating. However, since I had the day off today and woke up early, I decided to pay a visit. There is a parking space in front of the shop, so you can easily park your car without worrying about parking fees. I ordered the soba noodles (yellow) for 280 yen including tax, and the friendly owner welcomed me. The broth had a strong bonito flavor, which was delicious. The yellow soba noodles had a smooth texture but were also pleasantly chewy, which I liked. The oden also looked delicious. It was a tasty meal. Thank you.

Yellow meat Kanto-style simmered dish was delicious, even better than I imagined. I'll definitely come back for more. The fried tofu in oden was perfect, exactly to my taste! It was incredibly delicious.

It's been a while since I visited Hyakuman-do. I ordered the fried rice for 440 yen, which was delicious and had a good amount of meat and onions. The flavor was nostalgic, similar to the fried rice my mother used to make for me when I was a child. It was a bit plain but not greasy. The price was also very reasonable. I also ordered a dish with 3 shrimp fry, mini tonkatsu, and macaroni salad, but the price was not clear. Even though it was a bit cold, the homemade taste was evident and everything was delicious. I was happy when the owner brought out mayonnaise, but I wish they had also provided tonkatsu sauce. Another dish I ordered had lightly salted egg rolls and potato salad, both of which were common side dishes in diners. They were tasty, and I appreciated that each dish had multiple items. I believe the total for all the dishes was around 960 yen, which was a great deal. I look forward to trying the Kanto-style soup with dark broth next time. Thank you for the meal.

Pork soup rice (small) with raw egg. Hmm, it's more like miso soup with pork rather than pork soup. The yellow, thin pickled daikon is good, but I wish it came with some other pickles too.

I had meat udon, but there were a lot of scum floating in it, which was disappointing. While I was eating, they started cleaning up the garbage, which was also disappointing. I think it's an old-fashioned diner run by an elderly couple. Not recommended for those who are particular about their food.

(2018.06)
This Chinese noodle dish is visually appealing with plenty of bean sprouts and pork belly. The soup has a light, slightly commercial taste with a hint of animal flavor, thanks to the use of pork belly broth. The noodles are straight medium noodles, offering a nostalgic and enjoyable texture. Although there is no chashu, the pork belly pairs well with the bean sprouts.

This popular casual dining restaurant along Prefectural Route 21 (Yao-Hirakata line) in the Hishie area is known to locals. It opens at 6:30 in the morning, attracting a crowd of working people before they start their day. The interior is clean and neat. I finally visited this restaurant that had caught my interest. This time, I tried the Chinese noodles. The simple and familiar taste of the noodles brought back nostalgic memories. Personally, I found it quite delicious and left with a surprisingly good impression. I noticed they also offer yellow noodles, so I look forward to trying that next time.

Every morning from 6:30, this lively place is open for business! My foodie friend, Menji, came to pick me up in his car from my home (lol). The interior of the restaurant is spacious and clean, making it a great place to dine. It was early in the morning, so there were only a few dishes on the shelves. The menu looks like this: Salt-grilled salmon for 250 yen, miso soup for 200 yen, and rice (medium) for 180 yen. The miso soup was amazing! It had pork belly, daikon radish, cabbage, tofu, bean sprouts, and green onions. The rice cooked in a large pot was also delicious. The salt-grilled salmon for 250 yen was a great deal (lol). It's on a different level compared to the grilled salmon at major gyudon chains. The breakfast cost 630 yen, which is a bit higher than usual, but I was completely satisfied because it was delicious! That's why I can't stop going to these casual dining spots. Hikarian, 2-1-30 Hishie, Higashi-Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, 072-961-2156, 6:30-15:00, Irregular holidays.
