Their specialty is wonton noodles, and the wontons with garlic are delicious. This time, I had the large serving ramen. First, the soup - it is thick and salty, which really hits the spot in your stomach. The noodles are not too thin and go well with the soup. I couldn't stop eating. I added grated garlic halfway through for a change in flavor. It gives you a powerful kick. Recommended for those who like rich ramen.

Here at "Gankomon", it's not just about Koga, but rather the king of ultra-rich tonkotsu in Fukuoka. I used to love the rich, hearty flavor since I was young, but lately I've reached a stage that everyone experiences as they age. It's not that I've come to dislike richness. It's been a while since I visited Sukei Sanyo-ken. The place is always crowded, but the staff are friendly. The ramen (large size for 820 yen) has straight, medium-thin noodles that seem shorter than usual, but they go well with the flavorful, salty soup. I added an extra serving of noodles for 200 yen and enjoyed it very much.

I received Ramen for 700 yen and Fried Rice (regular size) for 500 yen. Both prices include tax. The Ramen had a strong pork bone broth smell. The Fried Rice was simple but delicious. The half-price Fried Rice service on Wednesdays will end on October 26, 2022. I enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

At Sue Miyouken Koga branch, I usually eat champon, but today I felt like having wonton noodles. I ordered and got my food in about 5 minutes. First, I tried the wonton and the filling inside had a strong garlic flavor! It was a great accent to the taste and I enjoyed it very much.

This time, I only had fried rice. It costs 400 yen for a regular serving, which is quite cheap. The portion size is not that big though. The fried rice is made by one of the female staff members at the restaurant. It's a bit greasy, but delicious. It comes with soup, which is the same soup used for ramen, and it has a strong smell that I don't really like.

First visit! I visited during snack time at 3pm, so it was empty haha. I ordered the ramen [650 yen Barikata] right away ( ˊᵕˋ* ) It arrived without any wait! First, the soup! It reminded me of the famous Edo Kinzan from Yamaguchi Prefecture. The soup was oily and slightly sweet, with a hint of pork bone gaminess and umami. However, I felt like it lacked a bit of saltiness, personally. The noodles were firm, but lacked the fragrance of wheat. The chashu was thin, but I was happy to see two large slices! The champon here is truly addictive! Today, I went to the restaurant seeking this champon dish. Most customers order ramen, but I ordered champon and half-fried rice. It arrived in about 10 minutes and I enjoyed it.

It was delicious!

After a long time, I was excited to enter Sanyo-ken. I had already decided what to eat - champon and fried rice. My friend ordered a large serving of ramen. The champon was the best match with its hot soup, rich vegetables, and noodles. The fried rice had a strong and delicious flavor. My friend was also very satisfied with the ramen!

It arrived in about 5 minutes. When I tried the ramen soup, hmm? It had a slightly burnt taste. The noodles were medium thickness, and I felt that the pork bone flavor was weak. But for some reason, I couldn't stop eating, the noodles were delicious. I didn't order fried rice, but I ended up getting an extra serving. The fried rice was quite oily and a bit mushy, but for 200 yen, I'm satisfied. I'm full now. Most of the customers ordered ramen and fried rice. The power of half-price is amazing (laughs). I had a rare day off from work and decided to relax at home when suddenly I had a craving for Sanyoken's rich Chanpon noodles. I drove over and was a bit disappointed to find that the amount of vegetables in the dish was less than usual. I always thought of Chanpon as having a rich flavor, so this was a bit of a shock for me!

During lunchtime, this popular restaurant is especially crowded with salarymen and other customers, mostly men on the day we visited. The ramen has a nostalgic Showa era feel to it, and just one sip of the soup fills your mouth with its delicious flavor. It has a rich taste that makes you want to come back again without getting tired of it. Highly recommended ramen shop.

After about 3 years, I visited Suke Sanyo-ken's Koga branch again! It happened to be Wednesday, which is half-price fried rice day. The half fried rice was only 150 yen, and the fried rice was 200 yen. This time, I ordered champon, half fried rice, and gyoza. The gyoza was okay, but lacked a bit of sweetness and crispiness. The champon, known for its tonkotsu soup with a film-like layer, seemed milder compared to three years ago, which left me a bit disappointed. I ended up eating a lot of the half fried rice to satisfy my hunger. I should have just ordered a regular size fried rice instead.

On this day, I searched for a ramen restaurant in Koga City... I found the Koga branch of "Sue Sanyoken" and decided to give it a try (^｡^). Actually, I had never been to "Sue Sanyoken" before, so I was a little excited to go in. There was a large menu with pictures on the outside wall of the restaurant, which made me feel at ease entering for the first time. As I entered the door, I saw the phrase "Live for a Bowl" right in front of me! This really gave me a sense of determination ＼(^o^)／ I ordered ramen and fried rice. The ramen had a salty soup with a traditional pork bone flavor, and it was delicious! The fried rice was fluffy and had a nice egg flavor. The red fish cake and yellow egg created a beautiful color combination. On Wednesdays, fried rice is half price at 150 yen, and on Thursdays, gyoza is half price at 170 yen.
