I happened to visit at lunchtime. Despite not being very convenient in terms of transportation, it was quite lively. I was hungry, so I was hoping for a set meal like a pork cutlet bowl, but they only had soba or udon dishes. I asked for a large portion for an extra 100 yen, but the regular portion was decent enough, so it didn't feel like a large portion. The soba and tempura were both decently tasty, but the soba water at the end was incredibly delicious. I had never thought soba water could be so good before...

When I come to this area, I often visit Kazoku-an. The food at Kazoku-an is delicious, but what really stands out is the warm and friendly customer service. The atmosphere inside the restaurant feels like an old countryside house, which adds to its charm. During cold days, I enjoy the hot pot dishes, and during hot days, I prefer the chilled soba or udon. On this particular day, I had the bukkake with grated radish and tempura, and a few days later I tried the mountain vegetable soba. Both dishes were generous in portion and delicious. Both the soba and udon are tasty. The broth has a nice sweetness from the bonito flakes. They also have a parking lot, so it's convenient for those driving. Be prepared to wait during lunch hours.

The road connecting Ikeda and Minoh is located on the Minoh side of the city boundary. It is a charming building with a sign for a soba restaurant, but they also serve udon. The restaurant only offers soba and udon noodles. The interior is spacious with about five tables and large communal tables. It is usually crowded during lunchtime, with some people waiting outside. Although I came expecting a soba restaurant, I noticed that people around me were eating nabeyaki udon. It seems to be quite popular despite the relatively high price. I ordered the tanuki soba for 880 yen. It is described as hand-made soba, but it is not served on a bamboo strainer so it's hard to judge the taste. The dish came with two sweet fried tofu slices, one piece of fish cake, and plenty of green onions. The broth was hot and flavorful. While soba and udon are typically considered different, I'm not sure if this place is a soba or udon restaurant.

It is a calm and peaceful shop located in a quiet residential area. The atmosphere is relaxed. The tempura is fried after ordering, and the sound is pleasant.

This is a soba and udon restaurant in Minoh that I often visit when I go to my wife's parents' house. They use kombu and bonito broth which is very Kansai-style. The nabeyaki udon costs 1300 yen and is a bit pricey, but it is served piping hot and packed with plenty of ingredients. It is a satisfying dish with high satisfaction.

I can't help but compare the current shop to the one run by your mother before the relocation, and I feel sorry. I miss the spicy daikon radish from Makinomata and the various tempura from S. It's a loss for the soba shop scene. The chewiness of the nabeyaki udon, the fragrance of the grated soba, I hope you can focus on the quality of the soba once again! I will continue to support you no matter what!

As a monthly end-of-month service, if you visit the restaurant on the last day of the month, you will be treated to complimentary rice cakes. I visited the restaurant at the end of the month after a long time and enjoyed the warm and soft homemade rice cakes. I shared the ordered pot-cooked udon with my daughter as usual, and it was full of ingredients, so even sharing between two people filled us up. You can also take the leftovers home, so I'm thinking of taking them home next time and trying them out.

The miso stew at this restaurant is different from Nagoya's miso stew and is extremely delicious in a Kansai style. Nagoya's miso stew has noodles that are too firm, but I think this is Kansai-style udon. It is full of ingredients and very satisfying.

I felt like eating warm kitsune udon, so I went out. My husband heard that there was a delicious restaurant in Minoh. It's a popular place, so we were told that if we didn't leave by 11 o'clock, we would have to wait a long time, so we left early. We arrived around noon, but the restaurant was already almost full. The parking lot with 8 spaces was almost full. Luckily, there were two seats available, so we were fortunate. I ordered kitsune udon without hesitation. My husband ordered kitsune chopped soba. While waiting, the smell of bonito and kelp being brought to nearby tables increased our anticipation! I thought it might take a while for the udon to come out for an udon restaurant. It takes about 15 minutes. The reason for this is the thick noodles! It's rare for an udon restaurant in Osaka to have such thickness. I later found out that miso stew and nabeyaki are famous. The udon is chewy. It has a good bite to it. The broth is excellent. Delicious. Good broth. The fried tofu is slightly sweet, which is to the liking of Kansai people. It goes well with the udon broth! My husband also enjoyed his soba. It was delicious. However, personally, I think I prefer noodles a bit thinner for easier eating. There were potted plants like susuki and bellflowers in front of the restaurant, giving it an elegant feel. Thank you for the meal. Family An.

I went for lunch before and now I'm back for dinner. This time I tried the hot pot udon, which was delicious and filling. The price is a bit high, but I was satisfied. Last time during lunch, I stopped by for a meal while working nearby. It had a traditional soba restaurant atmosphere, which reminded me of my hometown where soba is famous. I heard they make their own noodles and serve them freshly pounded. I chose the grated yam soba. The place was busy with friendly staff and a nice ambiance, but the taste was just okay. It was good, but nothing outstanding. Maybe it's just personal preference or maybe the location affects the pricing. It felt a bit expensive for what it was. It was tasty, but I wish there was something more exceptional on the menu.

I noticed recently that this restaurant, located along the walking course to Minoh, is not listed on Tabelog, even though I used to visit it occasionally. I paid a visit after a long time and decided to share my experience. The parking lot is always full during lunchtime. The interior is not as spacious as the exterior suggests, with around 7-8 tables. I always order the popular grated radish soba in large serving. The noodles seem to be hand-made, with a slightly uneven texture. The noodles lack the distinct flavor of soba, but it's understandable for this season. I prefer my noodles slightly firm, and they are boiled to my liking. However, it's a bit disappointing that they don't use ice water for cooling, resulting in a lukewarm texture. The broth is spicy but well-rounded, with a rich flavor. The hot pot udon and miso stew seem to be popular choices, even during the summer. The downside is that despite its homey name "Kazoku An", the prices are a bit high. If you're looking for a high-end family-style restaurant and have a generous budget, you might enjoy it.

I often pass by this soba restaurant as it is on the way. I parked my car in the parking lot on the premises and went inside the restaurant. I had the Tempura Soba (1,500 yen) and my companion had the Kinoha Soba (1,000 yen). The Tempura Soba had two large prawns, along with shiitake mushrooms and vegetables. Considering the price, I wished there was a bit more. The tempura coating was crispy, and the prawns were delicious. The thick soba noodles were obviously hand-made, but I felt they could have had a stronger soba flavor. When I asked for soba-yu (soba dipping sauce), they brought it to me instead of leaving the container on the table, which I found a bit inconvenient. As for the Kinoha Soba, the broth was delicate but slightly cloudy due to the egg topping. Overall, the food was rated 3.0. They also serve udon, which might be worth trying. The service was average, with a rating of 3.0. The atmosphere had a traditional soba restaurant feel, with a view of the soba-making area, and was rated 3.0. In terms of value for money, the rating was 3.0. Overall, I gave this restaurant a rating of 3.0, but I would have liked to see more variety in the menu, like rice bowls or set meals. Please note that these ratings are based on my personal experience and opinion of the restaurant.
