Although not all photos are shown, we ordered must-try items like Shiitake Mushroom Stuffed Fry and Fried Enoki, which are limited-time menu offerings. Torikizoku never fails to impress with its affordable prices!

Yakitori is something that you crave periodically, right? So, I ordered from the reliable Torikizoku. I won't go into details about the food since I didn't take photos of everything. This time, I had some room in my stomach, so I also ordered a dessert after the meal. I had a chocolate parfait with churros on the side. The vanilla ice cream was rich, and the churros were the type without cinnamon, so even for someone like me who doesn't like cinnamon, it was fine. I also tried Catalana for the first time, which tasted like a custard ice cream, and it was delicious. The only disappointing thing was that the orders were quite slow to come out, perhaps because there were many customers that day. By the time I finished one dessert, the other one was just arriving. Also, I was seated at the counter, and the air conditioning was blowing directly at me, making it very cold. The air conditioning varied depending on the seat, so if you get cold easily, it's a good idea to bring a jacket!

I didn't know what to have for dinner, so I happened to see Torikizoku, a place I hadn't been to in a while, and decided to go there. I always order quickly there, so I didn't take photos this time. I ordered some skewers and my favorite is the sand liver. The cucumber appetizer is also a must-have for me. The dishes are a bit on the salty side, so they go well with drinks. I didn't order the tsukune and yamaimo teppan this time, but I remember always ordering them at Torikizoku. It brings back memories of my student days. I feel like going back to Torikizoku again soon.

The restaurant is located a 1-minute walk from Senrin Daigongu Station, making it very convenient to access. I went around midnight when they were closing at 1 am with the last order at 12:30. I felt a bit guilty for arriving so late. I ordered quite a few dishes at first, but they were out of about a third of them. I was surprised to find that they didn't have my favorite dish of grilled yam and chicken karaage. I ended up trying some new menu items instead. I finished with a seafood ramen, but I found the flavor to be a bit light.

On October 11, 2014, I met up with Asahi at the "Jyanbo Yakitori Torikizoku Senri Omiya Store" near Senri Omiya Station on the Tanimachi Line. The restaurant is located next to Lawson, up the stairs. All items are priced at 280 yen (including tax). They offer free refills of cabbage with Chanja. For drinks, they have Premium Malt's (medium size) and The Third's Kinmugi (large size), and I chose the Kinmugi large size without hesitation. Asahi recommended the Onsen Tamago Caesar Salad. I also tried the grilled beef skewers and the Momo Kizoku Yaki (spicy) and Kawa Kizoku Yaki (salt) dishes. We also had some Kawatare. Overall, the food was good. We kept refilling our drinks and cabbage, and the total bill came to around 4,800 yen for the two of us. It's pretty cheap, isn't it?

It was a surprising cost performance with a wide variety of menu options. There were also rice dishes available, making it a satisfying place for families. The staff were friendly and we were able to enjoy our meal. The only issue was that smoking was allowed throughout the restaurant, and the ventilation seemed poor as the place was a bit smoky. While smokers may not mind, it would be preferable if this could be improved.
