I had a hamburger. It was soft, juicy, and the taste of the meat came through directly. The sauce was not too strong and light. My family of four visited and when a spacious terrace seat became available, they moved us there. It was a pleasant weather so we could enjoy our meal comfortably. We will visit again. Thank you very much! :)

I visited this log house restaurant before hiking in Onuma Park. The pleasant smell of beef and steak sauce greeted me as I opened the door. It was around 11:30 am and there was only one group of customers ahead of me. I ordered the 200g rice set with chicken thigh meat. The salad that came out in about 10 minutes was simple, with fresh vegetables and dressing. The soup was a consommé with croutons, nothing particularly special. The steak arrived about 5 minutes later. The hot stone on the top right allowed me to adjust the meat to my preferred doneness. The chicken thigh meat I chose was thin and tough, requiring some effort to cut. It felt a bit lacking, maybe I should have gone for the sirloin. The accompanying vegetables were large, and the glazed carrots were particularly delicious. I couldn't tell what the previous customers were eating, but they seemed very impressed, so they were probably having the sirloin.

I chose the Momoniku Inside Steak 200g (ate too much for breakfast...) I regret not going on an empty stomach. The steak was tender, juicy, and delicious, enjoyed in the best setting. The bread was also tasty. Next time, I want to try the 300g steak and the hamburger. Thank you for the meal.

I had passed by this restaurant a few times before and was curious about it. Since the weather wasn't great, I decided to sit inside instead of on the terrace. The menu had a variety of options including hamburgers, steaks, and pizzas. It was a late lunch, so I ordered the hamburger set. My partner had the pilaf. The hamburgers were served sizzling on a hot plate, with a generous portion and sauce that I liked. The pilaf was also cooked in-house and had a rich buttery flavor. After the meal, we played badminton on the premises, getting a little exercise. I definitely want to visit again!!

As of summer 2021, this restaurant is only open for lunch, so it is recommended to call ahead for evening hours. Located near Hakodate City, the area is strict due to the current COVID-19 situation. On a cool but humid early summer day typical of southern Hokkaido, I visited this place. The mornings and evenings in the area near the east coast or slightly inland are often misty and rainy. On sunny days, there is an open terrace, and you don't need to worry even if you are sensitive to infection prevention measures. They serve local Oonuma beef steaks, hamburgers, chicken steaks, sirloin steaks, rib steaks, as well as pizza, pilaf, and drinks like coffee. It could also be a nice spot for a coffee break. The price for Oonuma beef is reasonable considering the quality. My recommendation is the rib steak! It has a good balance of fat and meat, and the flavorful and tender meat is a satisfying experience for meat lovers. For those with smaller appetites, sharing a 300g steak and ordering side dishes could be a good idea. The menu even suggests sharing steaks. Despite the lack of air conditioning, the interior of the log house stays cool even on hot days. I was the only customer at first, but the seats were almost full by the time I finished my steak! It seems that certain cuts may sell out later in the day, so making a reservation by phone is recommended for those who want to secure their order. Once you try the steaks here, your taste buds may become spoiled (laughs). While I didn't give it a perfect score, my stomach, heart, and body were fully satisfied, and I felt energized.

I visited the steakhouse "Lumber House," located about 3 kilometers away from JR Onuma Koen Station. The owner handcrafted everything, including the log cabin, giving the interior a warm and cozy feel. While the "chicken steak" is good, I recommend trying the "sirloin steak" if you come all the way here! However, this time I ordered the hamburger set (1,500 yen). The hamburger is thin and tender, lacking in meatiness, but the potatoes and carrots served with it are delicious. If you come all the way here, I still recommend trying the "sirloin steak."

I arrived at the DaNuma beef steak restaurant a little after 5 pm, but unfortunately the most popular sirloin steak was already sold out. I ordered the premium rib roast steak and the sirloin steak (both 300g). The rib roast was quite fatty and not to my liking. The sirloin, on the other hand, was light and very delicious! I will definitely come back for lunch next time!

I tried to make a reservation around 18:00, but was advised to arrive earlier, so I arrived at 17:30. The restaurant was small and had a cozy log cabin atmosphere. I ordered a steak with lean meat, which was served with salt, pepper, and butter instead of sauce. The meat was cooked thoroughly but still tender and delicious. Normally, they serve the steak at a medium doneness and allow you to cook it on a hot stone to adjust the cooking level yourself. The staff was friendly and engaging, making the dining experience enjoyable. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. By the way, I recommend not walking from Onuma Koen Station.

Lumber House was recommended by a female colleague at work a few years ago, and I finally had the chance to stay at Auberge Epei during my trip. I visited the restaurant on the first day of my trip for lunch. As we drove, we saw the frozen Lake Onuma and the snow-covered Mt. Komagatake. The log house, which I had seen in photos, came into view. The sign read "Beefsteak" - a nostalgic name from my childhood. The restaurant was already busy when we arrived, with customers coming in after us. Despite it being the off-season for tourism and a weekday, the place was popular. The log house was decorated with old movie posters, Western hats, antique items, and heart-shaped chairs, creating a cozy atmosphere. Following the recommendation of my colleague, we ordered 300 grams each of sirloin and thigh meat to share, along with some bread. The staff were friendly and attentive. The bread was delicious, crispy on the outside and fluffy inside. The steaks arrived, perfectly cooked to medium-rare. The meat was tender and flavorful, best enjoyed with just salt and pepper. The sirloin was especially juicy and mouth-watering. My wife preferred the thigh meat for its lightness. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I expressed my gratitude to my colleague for recommending such a great restaurant. While Sapporo has many steak restaurants, finding one with high-quality steaks at an affordable price can be challenging. I wished Lumber House had a branch in Sapporo. I left the restaurant satisfied and promised to return when I'm in the area again. It was truly a delicious meal!

Da Numa beef is so delicious. Steak is the best way to directly taste the flavor of the meat. It's a bit far and you need a car to get there, but it's a place worth visiting. You might be able to make it there if you rent a bicycle at Onuma Park.

This is a local steakhouse located near Lake Onuma, about an hour's drive from Hakodate, surrounded by nature. The restaurant is housed in a log cabin building with a great atmosphere. I used to enjoy sirloin and ribeye steaks, but my preference has shifted towards lighter flavors over the years, so I've been ordering the rump steak recently. Today, I ordered a 300g rump steak. It may not be exceptionally tender since it's rump steak, but it's very light and you can really taste the flavor of the meat. Thank you for the meal.

When I visited Onuma for work and it was getting late, I decided to just go in and try it out. It turned out to be a great decision. The restaurant was a lovely log house, with "Beefsteak" written outside - yes, I wanted to eat Beefsteak! Inside, there were nostalgic household appliances and a poster of "The Natural" with Robert Redford, giving off a nostalgic American vibe. I ordered the Rib Roast (300 grams). It was huge and thick. Despite being well cooked on the outside, the inside remained juicy. The plate itself wasn't scorching hot, so the meat didn't continue to cook. By placing the sliced meat on the hot stone slab on the top right corner, we could enjoy the sensation of freshly cooked meat until the end. The simple seasoning allowed us to fully savor the flavor of the meat. Two men silently enjoyed the meal. No need for words when the food is this good. I'm sorry I didn't know about Onuma beef before. If I ever come to Hakodate again, I might end up becoming a regular at this restaurant. They are open year-round.
