I did not sell directly here, but I sell to Shibata Shoten in front of Mori Station. I went to Shibata Shoten and bought two. You can't tell from the picture, but they are small. They are not tiring to eat and go well with drinks. I enjoyed them for lunch.

There are many squid rice dishes out there, but this one is really delicious. It has a nice seasoning, but you can still taste the squid. The squid is so fluffy, I wonder how they cook it to turn out like this. The best squid rice in Hokkaido is said to be at Sushi Marusen, and I agree with that opinion.

I wanted to eat squid rice, so I bought it at the station in Mori Town. The squid rice I received was smaller than I had imagined. The taste was delicious, with the flavor of squid and sauce soaked in well. It was so tasty that I quickly finished it, with the flavor of the squid still remaining.

"Ikameshi restaurant. It is a traditional dish from Hokkaido. I was avoiding it because of its appearance, but it was my first time trying Ikameshi. Ikameshi (3 pieces for 780 yen): Small squid stuffed with a mixture of white rice and glutinous rice, boiled and seasoned with a sweet and savory sauce. When I tried it, I was surprised by how tender and flavorful the squid was, and how well it paired with the sweet and savory rice. When I bought it, the lady told me not to reheat it because the squid would become tough. It's best to eat it fresh. "

The sauce is sweet and delicious, why is rice white? The squid rice that doesn't soak in the sauce was purchased at Chiba Station, it's delicious even when cold with a nostalgic scent. Be careful because your hands will smell like squid and it's hard to get rid of.

"I found out that Abeshoten's Ikameshi is participating in Kanazawa Meitetsu M'ZA, so I decided to go there. I parked in the underground parking lot (no discount for parking ticket). I searched for the shop on the 8th floor event hall. The shop was located surprisingly deep inside. There were no other customers. This was a first for me. The location must be affecting it! I ordered two servings of 'Ikameshi' for 880 yen each. I returned home and ate it right away. In the past, there were times when there were three or four servings in one box, but this time it was a must to have two servings. It was just made and slightly warm. Both the squid and the rice were soft! The taste wasn't too strong, but it was delicious in its own way! It was delicious. Thank you for the meal (^人^)"

I tried the Hokkaido exhibition at Abeno Harukas and it was delicious! They were doing live sales and wrapped it up hot for me. They said it was a mix of mochi rice and regular rice, but I couldn't really tell the difference. Still, it was very tasty! The only downside was that the flavor didn't penetrate the rice, so it was a bit bland.

It was quite crowded on Sunday morning, with other customers already there. The well-cooked squid meshi was a delight to meet. The flavor had thoroughly permeated the squid meat and rice inside, just the right amount. One piece felt a bit insufficient, but with two pieces, it was satisfying enough. With the temperature cooling down, it seems to be the season for various local product fairs to start popping up. If I come across it again, I would like to buy it. Once again, I enjoyed it, thank you for the meal.

Ika Meshi Abe Shoten Ika Meshi 880 yen I found out on Twitter from Abe Shoten that Ika Meshi is being sold at THE GARDEN in Ueno Station during the Hokkaido Festival (only on July 15th and 16th). I was curious if it was flown in from Hokkaido, but it turns out that it is actually made by a company called Nihon Airport Delica in Haneda, Tokyo. The individual packaging is sealed in film, which is great for transportation. The container is a bit different from the one used in Shinjuku Keio, with a plastic frame but a poly bottom. There is also a clear film and absorbent sheet under the Ika Meshi, which I assume is for transportation purposes. It also comes with a wet wipe, which is a nice touch. As for the taste, it has been consistently delicious over the past few years. The squid is thick and flavorful, making it a tasty treat. I never expected to enjoy Abe Shoten's Ika Meshi in the middle of summer, but I'm glad I did. Another delicious meal, thank you!

I purchased frozen squid rice online for the first time in a while! It's so convenient to have delicious squid rice that can be easily heated up whenever you want to eat it. The sticky rice inside is chewy and flavorful, and the squid is so tender that it can be easily cut with chopsticks. The size is just right, and I was completely satisfied!

I had been curious about "ikameshi" for a while. I bought it at a nearby event. The simple seasoning of the squid with glutinous rice packed inside was delicious. The rice inside was of the white variety. It was tasty, but I was a little bothered by the fact that the rice was white.

I purchased it at the Hokkaido Fair in the department store. It was discounted as it was close to closing time, so I ended up buying two. Each box contains two small squid. It is recommended to eat them as they are without heating them up. The sweet and salty soy sauce flavor has soaked into the squid well, making them soft and very delicious. I ended up eating both by myself in no time.

"I visited the Hiroshima Mitsukoshi store on the final day of the 50th anniversary celebration of the 'Spring Great Hokkaido Exhibition' (4/24) in the afternoon. 'Abe Shoten's' 'Original Morinamono Ikameshi' has been a favorite of mine since long ago, and it was the dish that made me fall in love with 'ikameshi'. The thick and appropriately sized squid paired with rice (a mix of regular rice and mochigome) has a perfect harmony, and the seasoning is just right, not too strong or too light. You can only purchase it at Hokkaido product exhibitions, but whenever 'Abe Shoten' is participating, I always make sure to buy it without fail. 'Thank you for the delicious meal. In Hokkaido, there is a famous squid rice station bento. It used to be in the 600 yen range, but now it's been raised to 880 yen. I wonder if squid prices have gone up? Surprisingly, it was made with squid from China. Despite the high price, it was soft and delicious. But I think the previous one was tastier.

Ikameshi Abeshoten Ikameshi 880 yen This week, I purchased Ikameshi at the Dai Hokkaido Exhibition held at Keio Department Store Shinjuku. I decided to compare it with the Ikameshi sold by Hokkaido Ichichokubai, which was also available at the same venue. In terms of size, Hokkaido Ichichokubai's Ikameshi is significantly larger. Even considering the price difference of 200 yen for two pieces, it was still overwhelming. However, when it comes to the seasoning, Ikameshi from Abeshoten seems to have a stronger flavor. The rice inside Abeshoten's Ikameshi didn't seem to absorb much flavor this time. On the other hand, Hokkaido Ichichokubai's Ikameshi has a sweet seasoning, perhaps mirin-based, giving it a sweet and salty taste. The rice inside this one is cut at the time of sale, which may have affected its soft texture. Additionally, although there isn't a lot of it, there is minced ginger inside the rice, which seems to help eliminate the fishy smell of the squid. Personally, I feel that Abeshoten's Ikameshi is consistently good. I enjoyed it once again this time. Thank you for the meal.

Abeshoten's Forest Squid Rice Bowl, priced at 880 yen, was purchased at the Hokkaido Fair at Keio Department Store Shinjuku. Unlike during the station bento festival, it was nice to be able to buy it in a relaxed manner.
