I used this restaurant for a couple of small gatherings in a row. The portion size for each dish is quite large, so I recommend starting with a few dishes first. The chicken teriyaki has a nice flavor. The gratin used to be really good in the past, but my companion mentioned that it's not as good lately. The sashimi dishes have prices listed as "market price," so it's a bit hard to decide. Drinks are served quickly, whether it's hot sake or beer. The flavors of each dish are quite strong, so it might be a bit too much for those who prefer lighter flavors.

Heading north on National Route 40, once you pass Nayoro, you'll soon reach Bifuka. Crossing a large bridge over the Teshio River, you'll enter the town center. Despite being a small town, Bifuka has a good selection of izakayas and sweet shops, making a stop at the roadside station a delightful experience. I believe the shop here used to be called Sawaki in the past. It's an izakaya. I remember how delicious the sashimi daikon salad was. Even though it's now called Okumura, the taste of dishes like shrimp shinjo, fried flounder, and chicken karaage remains unchanged. It's the best restaurant I've visited in Bifuka.
