Today I went to see a Hawks game at the dome. I arrived in Tenjin around 9am and hadn't had breakfast, so I went to the underground shopping area to see if there were any open restaurants. I visited this bakery that caught my eye first. It had a café section where you could sit and enjoy your food, and they had a good selection of coffee and other soft drinks. I ordered a salmon quiche, bacon and vegetable salad (in a plastic cup), and coffee, while my companion ordered a chestnut cream pie, a freshly baked croque-monsieur, and coffee. The croque-monsieur came with a bonus yogurt as part of the morning set. The coffee was made fresh to order, one cup at a time, and the taste was just to my liking. I chatted with the staff for a bit, and they were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable for taking a break, and all the pastries, salad, and coffee were delicious.

I visited the Tenjin underground mall store of "Vi de France" in Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. This was my first time visiting this store. I arrived at the store a little after 8 AM on a weekday. The store has a seating area for dining in. There were about 10 customers in the dining area. The seating area had both counter seats and table seats. Menu items I tried on this day: - Angel Soft (285 yen) - Iced Cafe au Lait (356 yen) * Prices include tax I enjoyed these at the counter seats in the dining area. I ordered the Angel Soft, which was the most popular item. It had a fluffy bread filled with syrup-soaked apples and cheese cream. The slightly sweet and sour apples and cheese cream were very delicious. The generous amount of cream made me happy in the morning. The gentle texture of the syrup-soaked apples added a nice touch, making it a delicious treat. It had a satisfying portion size, perfect for breakfast in my opinion. The Iced Cafe au Lait had a strong milk flavor which I liked. The dining area had a simple layout, and the counter seat where I sat was spacious and allowed me to relax. The bright and clean atmosphere was also nice. Because the Angel Soft was so delicious this time, I would like to purchase it again at another store. Thank you for the meal.

I bought some light bread to snack on at the hotel. I found it on my way back from visiting Shoppers Ion in Tenjin. They didn't have the item I wanted, but I ended up getting salt butter and croissants. The texture was really light.

I met up with my close friend in Fukuoka for dinner after a long time apart. We arrived in Tenjin by highway bus with about 3 hours to spare before our planned meeting. We decided to find a place to relax and settled on the food floor at Solaria, but couldn't find a suitable atmosphere. We then headed to the underground mall, where the foot traffic decreased as we walked south. We tried looking for a seat at San Marco Cafe, but it was full. We ended up backtracking a bit and found some available seats at VIE DE FRANCE. Since we had an early and light lunch, we decided to buy some bread and have it there. I ordered a blend coffee and a smoked bacon and potato bread. The combination of bacon and potato with black pepper seasoning looked delicious, and it turned out to be a successful choice. I thought that occasionally trying out bakery cafes like this isn't a bad idea.

I purchased a curry bread and French toast. The texture was not particularly crispy, and there was no standout flavor or special touch. It was just an average bakery. I had the "Ume Jiso Chicken Dog" and the "Tuna Cheese and Tomato Croque Monsieur" for breakfast. During morning hours, if you purchase a Croque Monsieur or a sandwich for dine-in, you can get a free choice of either a boiled egg, banana, yogurt, along with a cup of coffee. The coffee is brewed using a siphon, giving it a refreshing taste while still maintaining the rich aroma of the beans. Personally, I really enjoy the waiting time when the coffee is being brewed using a siphon. It's also convenient that they can reheat the bread and sandwiches at the register. The "Tuna Cheese and Tomato Croque Monsieur (397 yen)" had the egg soaked into the bread perfectly, and the tuna, cheese, and tomato inside matched wonderfully. The overall texture was soft, making it easy to eat even without teeth. The "Ume Jiso Chicken Dog (326 yen)" may sound like it's all about plum and chicken, but the hidden fluffy potatoes under the chicken, along with the mentaiko and mayonnaise on top, did an amazing job. It may not have a luxurious feel, but this kind of taste is my favorite, and I feel like eating it three times a week. The chicken was juicy and tender. The set with both items in the photo cost 723 yen, but with a 10% discount for first-time LINE registrants, I paid 650 yen. The store has a sales area and a cafe area, with the sales area having white lighting, but it would be more appealing if they matched the warm lighting of the cafe area. The appearance may be plain compared to other bakeries nearby, but the taste was my favorite. I would like to visit again.

I bought some bread for tomorrow's breakfast. It's a soft bread with apple and cheese. It's from VIE DE FRANCE so you can find it anywhere. The price is reasonable and the taste is consistent. It's quite big with lots of cheese inside. There could have been more apple though.

The morning menu is affordable and offers several options. The C set (390 yen including tax) includes a sandwich and a drink. When you order the morning set, you can choose one item from "boiled egg," "banana," or "yogurt," so choose the boiled egg. For the drink, go for the orange juice. The sandwich comes with mayo-mixed egg, tomato, and lettuce, and it's delicious. The amount of orange juice is a bit small. It's nice to get all this for the price of a cup of coffee.

It was a photo from July 2014. I came to Fukuoka without any holidays in July, but I can't remember why I came here or why I bought bread here... I can't even tell what kind of bread it is from the photo. I just happened to buy it, but I don't think I liked it that much since I can't remember. Anyway, the only choice at this store is melon pan. Some stores of "Vie de France" may recommend melon pan saying "It's freshly baked," but it's unclear if this store does that.

I went to this bakery for breakfast. I bought melon bread, cream bread, spicy cod roe cheese bread, apple flower bread, and teriyaki wiener tortilla, among others. The taste was consistently good as always. The sweetness was just right and not too overwhelming. The apple flower bread looked like a dessert with apple jam incorporated, making it very moist. This was my first time trying it and it was the most delicious. The spicy cod roe cheese and melon bread did not disappoint. The prices here are reasonable, making it a bakery I occasionally crave.

Avocado Chicken for 450 yen. Calories: 276kcal. I used it for a quick lunch at the self-service eat-in area, with complimentary lemon water. The marinated bell peppers and onions added a refreshing taste, making it easy to eat.

Yesterday, I had to take the day off from work because the Nishitetsu train was out of service. Today, I decided to go to work early just in case (the train stopped running). I arrived at Fukuoka Tenjin Station at 7:30 am. Since I had plenty of time before work started, I decided to stop by V de France. The shop is located near the end of the Tenjin underground shopping area. Inside, there is a bread corner on the left side and an eat-in area on the right side. I ordered the morning set "Croque-monsieur set (390 yen, tax included)" at the register. I was handed a warm croque-monsieur. It was a simple and convenient choice (laughs). In addition to the drink, you can choose one side dish from banana, yogurt, and boiled egg, so I chose a banana. The seating arrangement mainly consists of counter seats and three 4-person tables. I sat down and enjoyed my meal. The iced coffee had a refreshing taste. The croque-monsieur had two thin slices of ham with cheese in between. I also had a whole banana. It was a simple morning with retro French background music playing. However, the sound of the plastic bag when the bread was packed and the noise around the register were quite loud. The atmosphere lacked a sense of calm, but the seating was standard in size, and in terms of cost performance, it was not bad. Thank you for the meal.

The bakery located on the street in the middle of the south side of Tenjin Underground Street is a shop I occasionally visit. The salt bread soft serve ice cream that I was curious about has a perfect balance of saltiness and sweetness~♡ So delicious~ I could easily eat two of them in no time! The air conditioning was working well, so I felt cold after eating (laughs). I'll definitely go back to eat it again~♬

Huh? What's this? I bought a Tuna Tomato Croque-Monsieur and an Avocado Chicken sandwich. The Croque-Monsieur was delicious as always! It's even better when toasted at home. But the Avocado Chicken was terrible!!! The avocado was mushy and the sauce had a strange, unidentifiable taste. It's been a while since I had such a bad sandwich. I love Vida, so I was shocked.

This shop is located in the Tenjin underground shopping area. It is adjacent to a cafe. There is a parking lot, but I'm not sure if there is a minimum purchase requirement. However, since it's in Tenjin, there are plenty of parking options available. This time, I bought Kin Goma Gobo and Kinoko (173 yen), Special Cream Pan (163 yen), Salt Melon Pan (163 yen), and Pudding Tart (200 yen). The Pudding Tart had a crispy tart base and a creamy pudding filling. It was very delicious! Perfect for a snack. The Salt Melon Pan is a melon version of salt bread. The sweet cookie dough and salt complement each other well. The cookie dough has a milky flavor and a nice aroma. It's big, satisfying, and delicious! The Kin Goma Gobo and Kinoko bread was voted number one in a web poll, so I had to try it. It contains not only burdock but also lotus root and chicken meat! The mayo adds a nice flavor. Is there a hint of mustard too? This is definitely delicious! The Cream Pan has a creamy filling with vanilla beans. The sweetness level is just right, perfect for my taste.
