To wrap up 2022 in a glamorous way, I visited this restaurant. This is the third establishment in the Ukaigroup, following Ukaitei Omotesando and Ukaitei Takao. Ukaigroup is known for providing a stable and satisfying dining experience, even though the prices may be on the higher side. For this special year-end meal, I chose Ukaitei without any hesitation. The service and food were both excellent. The staff showed us a selection of meats and allowed us to take photos of the ingredients used in today's dishes. The luxurious and entertaining atmosphere kept my excitement high throughout the meal. While I may not remember all the details due to enjoying some drinks, I can still recall the rich flavor of the clams, the tenderness of the meat, the delightful aroma of truffles, and the sweet and fragrant smell of the baked dorayaki skin. The happiness I felt when enjoying the dishes was truly priceless. Looking at the photos now makes me want to go back again. I highly recommend this place. I had a lunch pairing course. My friend drinks a lot, so they went for wine pairing (there was also sake available). I'm not good with alcohol, so I appreciated being able to make separate choices. The Matsusaka beef cooked over charcoal for 2 hours in front of us was nicely fatty and tender. The smoked tea paired well with the meat! I ended up getting seconds (extra charge). For dessert, there were two options - ice cream with rare Jarahoney and a fluffy dorayaki with black beans and custard that had a perfect balance of sweetness. I was quite full by the end. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was my first time there, but I had a pleasant experience. Thank you for the meal!

My parents came to Tokyo for a visit, so our family of four went for lunch. The cost of 13,000 yen for this meal was very good value for money. From the introduction of the ingredients to the dessert at the end, we were visually entertained. Even my father, who is not a fan of seafood and vegetables, praised everything as delicious. The main dish of Matsusaka beef sirloin was truly delicious. Above all, the high level of hospitality from the staff. From during the meal to seeing us off, the service was top-notch. This is a restaurant that I would recommend to others. Actually, the reservations for the main Ukaitei were full, so I didn't know about this Ukaitei group and made a reservation here, but I think it was actually a good choice! The whole family was happy and we had a very good time. I would like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I became a meat chef and visited for the first time. I was excited to see how the restaurant had changed since it used to be my favorite, Ukai Ginza. It had transformed into a meat cuisine restaurant with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes and tableware. The taste was delicious, but personally, I preferred it when it was still the traditional Japanese Ukai. I loved the calm atmosphere and the chefs working in front of the counter, creating dishes right before your eyes. However, despite my personal preferences, the food was incredibly delicious.

I visited this restaurant for the first time after it was renovated to focus on meat dishes! Everything was delicious! The meat was tender and flavorful, just as I expected from a place that specializes in it. The dorayaki dessert was surprisingly good too. The staff were friendly and made the experience enjoyable. I will definitely be going back again!

I have been to Ukai in Ginza and Omotesando several times, but this time we went to Nikusho, which my mother had been interested in! Before going, I thought it would be heavy with lots of meat, but the Japanese-style seasoning was delicious, and we even enjoyed the last sukiyaki rice dish! We visited on my parents' wedding anniversary, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was great, with private rooms available for various occasions.

Simmered Tohban and beef tongue. ⚫︎ Delicacies from Japan's waters "Hassun". Skipjack tuna straw-grilled, juvenile flounder, summer vegetable jelly. ⚫︎ Chef's special of the day. Eel kabayaki (with wasabi). ⚫︎ Black wagyu beef tartare with caviar. Mixed with mochi rice. ⚫︎ Seasonal soup. Awaji conger eel and green eggplant soup. ⚫︎ Nikusho-selected "Matsusaka beef" charcoal-grilled steak with Man'yoji chili pepper. ⚫︎ "Special salt dashi" with today's noodles. Or "Nikusho" beef bowl. Without onions. ⚫︎ Dessert. Sorbet. ⚫︎ Famous "Nikusho" dorayaki. To see freshly made ones come out unexpectedly (^^). And they also make matcha right in front of you. A total of 9 dishes, about 2 hours. The beef, of course...using Matsusaka beef, Kobe beef, etc., and giving them a solid sear on charcoal grill. I went to Kappou Ukai in Ginza. It was my first time visiting, as I had been to Ukai-tei and Tofuya Ukai before. The restaurant had apparently reopened this year. They presented the ingredients they would be using that day, including amazing meat, splendid hairtail, and splendid golden eye snapper. The meal started with flawless vegetables, followed by dishes of bonito and other fish that were surprisingly rich and delicious. The main steak was as expected, meeting my high expectations. The hairtail served before the steak was also incredibly flavorful. And the Kobe beef steak cooked in a kiln at the end was exceptional. The outside was crispy while the inside was packed with flavor. The soba noodles served at the end were also delicious, although the portion was quite small. The dessert, a dorayaki, was exceptionally tasty as well. It was probably the best dorayaki I've ever had. The bill came out to around 50,000 yen for four people with two bottles of wine, so it's not cheap. It's a place to visit for special occasions like important business dinners or dates, where cost is not the main concern.

I was impressed by the elegant creativity of the dishes made with such attention to detail on various cuts of beef and their origins! The dishes served between the meat courses were so amazing that it almost feels wrong to call them palate cleansers. I was truly moved by them. It's no wonder this course costs 33,000 yen.

When I visited after several years, the restaurant had changed a bit. The interior seemed unchanged, but the prices of the food and drinks had gone up. The staff were still very friendly, and the chef explained the dishes in detail. The restaurant was almost full, and it felt like the lively atmosphere before the pandemic had returned. As expected from a meat specialist, all the meat dishes were delicious, but what impressed me the most this time was the daikon radish dish! The radish had soaked up the broth perfectly, with no hint of vegetable odor, making it possibly the most delicious thing I've ever eaten. Next, the dorayaki was amazing. It was interesting that it didn't have red bean paste inside! The skin was also very fragrant. This is a restaurant I would like to visit with someone special on a special occasion.
