Located on the 4th floor of a compact building, the dimly lit interior creates a cozy atmosphere, making it a true hidden gem. This time, the Champagne is from Tieno, known for its rich aroma and robust flavor at a great cost performance. The owner's delicate sense in selecting wines based on the season, weather, and import situation is impressive. The snacks are varied, catering to different tastes, and the chocolate nuts from Azabu-Juban's Mamegen pair perfectly with Champagne. Cheese and bread are also available, complementing the wines well. The wine selection includes a wide range of Burgundy whites and reds. If you're lucky, you might be able to try a few different varieties by the glass. This time, I started with a Simon Bize Savigny-les-Beaune, a rare Pinot Noir from Savigny. There are also exceptional wines that are not typically available by the glass, making it a treat for wine enthusiasts. In the dark and quiet interior, you can enjoy wine in a serene atmosphere, making it a perfect spot for adults to unwind. This hidden gem in Akasaka is truly a delightful bar that everyone can appreciate.

Secret Eyelash, or should I say Hidden Bar. Located on the 4th floor of a building in Akasaka Sacas, this bar has been around for about 30 years. As you enter, you'll find a dimly lit, quiet atmosphere with jazz music playing in the background. The ambiance is perfect for a night out in Akasaka, with a mature and sophisticated vibe. Once your eyes adjust to the darkness, you'll notice the cozy interior with a central counter and a selection of drinks lined up at the back. This authentic bar, which opened in 2010 after the renovation of the restaurant "Kisara," features a mix of Le Corbusier's sofas and Frank Lloyd Wright's lighting, creating a lovely setting. The bar is stocked with 200 types of whiskey and 400 types of wine, curated by the owner and sommelier/bartender, Hiroshi Hashizume. He is friendly, attentive, and always ready to share his extensive knowledge, making it a welcoming place for beginners and female customers alike. The clientele at Secret Eyelash is diverse, ranging from women to middle-aged couples and solo customers. Despite its upscale appearance, the bar has a laid-back atmosphere, and the pricing is reasonable, with a focus on providing a great experience rather than making a profit. I recommend trying a glass of wine while listening to the owner's stories. With a last call at 1 am, it's a great spot for a casual first or second drink.

It's quite a dark bar. It may be a matter of personal preference, but it's dark enough that you can drink without thinking about anything. There is a wide selection of drinks available, and the prices are very reasonable. The service spirit of the bartender is also wonderful, making it a bar that makes you want to visit again.

It's been a while since I visited Bar Kissara! The atmosphere is always great in this place! I ordered a Yamazaki highball and enjoyed a sophisticated evening in the dimly lit bar with jazz music playing. It's the perfect reward for a hard day's work! I visited at lunchtime and there was one customer. The place is a few minutes walk from Akasaka Station. Two of us had two drinks each, totaling around 9000 yen. They have a great selection of drinks and the bartender was friendly. We made a general request, but enjoyed delicious drinks. I would like to go back again.

After enjoying ladder sake at Hormone Tsurumatsu and Tachi-nomi bar Heso in Shinbashi, we took a taxi to Akasaka with K-chan's guidance. We ended up at this bar, where I had been taken by K-chan six years ago. The master is friendly and easy to talk to, creating a comfortable atmosphere. We all toasted with a refreshing and delicious highball. Bars are really great, aren't they? The highlight was the Shora de Sauternes chocolate with nuts and persimmon seeds. This luxurious chocolate is made with Chateau San Michele, a golden botrytis wine from the Sauternes region of France, and is only produced once a year. It was a perfect match with the alcohol, and we enjoyed it while savoring the flavor. The two guys indulged in their usual swaying time. The contrast between standing drinking and this atmosphere is what makes K-chan's tours so interesting. I still remember the day when we went from Memory Lane in Shinjuku to Peak Lounge. On that occasion, K-chan treated us to a meal.

I visited this place a short walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station. I took the elevator to the 4th floor and it led me straight to the entrance of the shop. Inside, relaxing Western music was playing. I ordered a "Gin and Tonic" which was served promptly. It was refreshing to drink from a light glass. The charm was a mix of nuts.

On Wednesday night, I had curry in Shinjuku East Exit before heading to Bar Kisara. I arrived around 8:15 PM and it was not crowded. I sat at the counter and cooled down with a gin and tonic. The gin was Tanqueray London Dry Gin. I took a breath in the quiet darkness. The charm was nuts and chocolate. I asked for a cocktail made with fruits, maybe it was strawberries. The cocktail used Clover Gin from Belgium, Elderflower Liqueur San Germain, and Negroni Gin from Distillerie de Paris Gin Bel Air in France. The vermouth was 1757 Vermouth di Torino Extra Dry from Cinzano. Lastly, I had a Sidecar made with Armagnac, Domaine de Castel-Fort 1985. I also remember having Calvados Luton 1962, but my memory is hazy due to the daytime drinking. I left around 9:40 PM. The master gave me Underberg, which was my fourth drink. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere is very dark, with quiet jazz playing, creating a relaxing space where you can unwind. I sat at the corner of the L-shaped counter and started with a refreshing gin and tonic followed by a strong and dry martini. The regular customers around me were elegant and refined, chatting quietly. It's a sophisticated and classy place where everyone speaks in a calm manner.

The cozy bar has an L-shaped counter with 8 seats and 6 table seats. They serve popular seasonal fruit cocktails, as well as standard cocktails that are delicious. They also offer around 300 types of wine and about 100 types of whiskey. Despite being in Akasaka, the prices are reasonable. Smoking is allowed, attracting many smokers to visit.

On Monday (March 20th), I visited Sushi Ryujiro after regular visits. It's my first time this year. Sushi Ryujiro was open early, so I arrived at 8:30 PM and there were seats available. First, I cooled down with a Gin and Tonic. The gin was Tanqueray London Dry Gin, and the charm was nuts and chocolate. Next, I tried a Calvados Soda with Chateau du Breuil 15-year Calvados, which was a cocktail made with fruits like kumquat and blood orange. Lastly, I had an Old Fashioned cocktail. Normally made with American whiskey, this one used Old Parr 12-year whiskey and was garnished with sliced orange, lemon, orange peel, and maraschino cherry. It was not only visually appealing but also easy to drink and delicious. The bill came to 6,000 yen, and I also had a shot of Underberg, my third one. Thank you very much.

A bar in Akasaka that satisfies the desire to have a drink from noon. I asked if the dimly lit interior was open for business, and indeed it was. I started with a refreshing cocktail to wake up, opting for a kiwi cocktail that wasn't too sweet. For the second drink, I went for whiskey. I noticed a bottle of Ardbeg HYPER NOVA, which I had never seen before. HYPER NOVA isn't a name you'd typically associate with a drink. With a phenol content of 170ppm, it was a powerful and exhilarating drink. I then had another drink, this time a Kilchoman selected by the bartender. It was a fun and enjoyable evening, ending with a pleasant buzz. Thank you for the meal.

Located just a 1-minute walk from Akasaka Station on the Tokyo Metro Chiyoda Line, and a 5-minute walk from Akasaka-Mitsuke Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line, this hidden gem bar in Akasaka is a must-visit. The interior is quite dark, with countless whiskey bottles lined up behind the counter. On this day, I enjoyed Bowmore and Glenfiddich on the rocks. You can enjoy drinking in a calm atmosphere with dim lighting. I expressed my preference and had a straight pour of 14-year-old Clynelish. Clynelish is my favorite key malt in the Johnnie Walker Gold Label. It has a sweetness close to honey and a hint of saltiness. For my second drink, I had my favorite Ardbeg 10 straight. Its peatiness stands out. I love how this peaty flavor becomes addictive. The chocolate and nuts served with the drinks were also well thought out. Thank you for the meal.
