I was very hungry because I hadn't eaten anything since 9:00 last night for a health check. So, my colleague and I went to lunch at this place, which is very close to the examination venue. The restaurant is not very big, but it has a natural decor that is calming. I ordered the recommended 39-ingredient healthy set meal (1270 yen) by my colleague. It's a lot of work to cook 39 ingredients at home. I'm happy that I can get plenty of vegetables. First, a small glass of vegetable salad to drink was served. Shortly after I finished that, the meal was served. It included brown rice, today's main dish of fried tofu with creamy tan-tan sauce, three deli items, vegetable salad, and soy milk pudding. It's fun just to see the variety of dishes. Brown rice is all-you-can-eat. Everything has a mild taste. The tofu was okay, but I think regular fried tofu would have been better. The tan-tan sauce was a bit too thick and didn't really match well. (As always, this is just my personal opinion) But overall, I was satisfied with the abundance of vegetables.

I had lunch near Yodoyabashi in Osaka City, bought bread for breakfast the next day, and then took the subway to check into the hotel. Before that, I stopped by Genzan-an on B1F of the Odonah Building to buy a drink. Surprisingly, they offer self-service takeout iced coffee for 150 yen. You can add ice from the cooler box yourself and then put 150 yen into the box. The iced coffee was quite delicious.

I was asked if it was okay that only one daily lunch special was available when I entered the restaurant. I'm glad I confirmed. As for the food...the barley rice was especially delicious, with a creamy texture. It was one of the most memorable meals I've had this month. I might want to visit again in the evening.

I tried the cold shabu-shabu from the blackboard menu that caught my eye last time! It was light but had plenty of meat, and there were lots of vegetables including the ingredients for miso soup. I enjoyed a leisurely 1-person lunch during a late time, too. ★

I had lunch for the first time with a colleague at work. The brown rice was very satisfying with lots of vegetables. The miso soup was also included and it was really delicious. Even though it's in the office district, I thought we might have to wait a bit longer, but we were able to get in smoothly and enjoy the meal.

Despite feeling unwell due to a hangover, I visited seeking vegetables and was pleased with the healthy menu options. After much deliberation, I chose the Bibimbap, which was packed with vegetables and paired perfectly with a mild miso soup. It helped me recover and was delicious. I will definitely visit again!

The main dish of the day was a slightly spicy chicken. I always use this restaurant, so it's the usual taste. I can only go between lunch and dinner time, so there is only one menu (the main dish of the set changes daily) and the side dish is always the same, so I'm honestly getting bored (and it's not really my favorite taste). It would be nice if they could change it up a bit. However, the location is perfect and it's great for a quick meal even if you're alone, so I keep coming back. Lately, I've been hooked on the mugwort soy milk latte, it's delicious.

【April 18, 2023】 Attended a regular concert by the Japan Telemann Association (Collegium Musicum Telemann). My high school brass band junior, Morimoto-kun, performed as a flute soloist. After the concert, we had dinner at ODONA, where we ordered a healthy set meal with 39 items for 1,270 yen (tax included). The main dish was healthy chicken stir-fried with leeks, and we also enjoyed three side dishes: Chinese sweet and sour root vegetables, chicken soboro pasta with a fish sauce flavor, and a sesame salad with green vegetables. The meal was delicious, totaling 556kcal. Thank you for the feast!

Healthy brown rice and plenty of vegetables can be enjoyed at Genmian (Genmian) restaurant. This visit was to the Yodoyabashi Odona store, the third store after the Nishi Umeda store in the Daiichi Building and the store in the basement of Hankyu Department Store. The store is smaller compared to the other two, so there is always a line during lunchtime. For lunch, the usual set meals and lunches are slightly discounted, giving a sense of value. I chose the Healthy Chicken Sweet and Spicy Brown Rice Bowl (1160 yen) with the option for extra brown rice for free. Not only is it healthy, but the piping hot sweet and spicy chicken also has a substantial presence. The three deli dishes on this day were dried radish Napolitan-style, potato salad with black olives, and a refreshing salad of spring cabbage and oranges, all with calorie information displayed, which was nice. Using these many vegetables and ingredients to cook at home would likely be quite expensive. If I feel like I'm lacking in vegetables, I will visit again. Thank you for the meal! [Station] About 1 minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station [Seating] Table [Visit time] Weekdays around 12:35 [Crowdedness] Full with a 3-minute wait [Dish] Healthy Chicken Sweet and Spicy Brown Rice Bowl [Price] 1160 yen

I have used this place multiple times. The healthy set meal of the day was tofu (cheese curry flavor). It was tasty, but I felt it was a bit lacking. The side dishes are usually similar (I feel like there's always carrot), and they are not that delicious. Of course, it's a matter of personal preference. The miso soup was very delicious. The walnut and sweet potato tart was incredibly tasty, I would like to order it again. The mugwort latte was also delicious.

Underground Midosuji Line, connected to Yodoyabashi Station, on the basement floor of Odona Yodoyabashi, there is a set meal restaurant. As the sign says, "Brown Rice & Vegetable Dining," you can enjoy a vegetable-centered side dish with brown rice, focusing on health. Despite thinking it was only for lunch, even on a weekday at 7:00 PM, the restaurant was almost full, showing its popularity.
- Daily 39-item Healthy Set Meal 1,510 yen (tax included)
(Appetizer) Ginger tea, Drinking Vegetable Salad, Mixed Nuts
(Main) Chicken Nanban with Tofu Tartar Sauce
(Seasonal Vegetable Side Dishes) Wakame Kinpira, Yuzu Pepper Stir-fried Potatoes, Cabbage with Salted Koji
(Rice) Brown Rice (Free Refills)
(Miso Soup) Vegetable-rich Barley Miso Soup
The menu is designed to have a total calorie count of about 600kcal, with 39 vegetable-centered side dishes and brown rice. To avoid the common issue of low-calorie meals being unsatisfying in portion and taste, they incorporate ingredients with fiber for a satisfying volume. The main dish of Chicken Nanban is topped with tartar sauce to add a contrast in flavor, creating a luxurious presentation that keeps the taste interesting. In Osaka, known for its flour-based cuisine, this restaurant offers a rare opportunity to enjoy low-calorie, high-protein, vitamin-rich, and fiber-rich meals.

Recently, there has been a rise in health-conscious eateries. One popular option is a cafe curry that offers healthy set meals. I have tried their lunch menu before, which includes a shot glass of fresh juice as a starter, a daily special one-plate meal (consisting of a main dish and 3-4 side dishes), brown rice, a hearty miso soup, and a mini dessert. This time, I tried their dinner menu and ordered their signature 39-item set meal. Instead of a mini dessert, they served a small portion of mixed nuts and ginger tea before the meal. The taste was nothing extraordinary (just delicious). The best part is that the meal is calculated to be around 600 calories per serving, making it ideal for those on a diet or looking for a balanced meal during business trips or frequent dining out. The majority of customers are women, so it may take some courage for a man to dine alone there, but it's definitely worth a try!笑笑

The lunch that makes your body happy is always a delight with a drink before the meal. This time, it's great that they ask about the amount of rice beforehand since you can't get a second serving of the bowl. Also, it's nice to have a variety of ingredients in the side dishes and main dish to enjoy a balanced meal. This is a restaurant that is liked by a wide range of people regardless of gender or age.

I visited the restaurant around 1 pm on December 5, 2022, and there were about 3 customers waiting. It's a popular spot among women, offering a healthy lunch with 39 different items. I often come here for lunch when I'm alone on business. The side dishes change weekly and the main dish changes daily, so you can enjoy a variety of flavors without getting bored. The main dish on this day was Yannyeom Chicken, which I love! It was made with chicken breast, not greasy, and very delicious. The mapo tofu made with tofu was seasoned just to my liking, and I was impressed by how delicious tofu can be. The miso soup had a lot of vegetables in it, and the brown rice was also very tasty. It's a shame that I can only come here during work hours, as I wish it was closer to my location.

Located inside Odona, directly connected to the exit of Yodoyabashi on the Osaka Metro. This is a great place for dining alone, and I often visit different branches as well! The lunch and dinner menus are basically the same, although prices are slightly higher at night. Lunch comes with a tofu pudding. On this visit, I ordered the Bibimbap with lots of vegetables. As someone who doesn't like spicy food, I found the Gochujang a bit spicy. I recommend trying the daily specials at this restaurant, as they vary by location. They serve brown rice and plenty of vegetables, making it a good choice when feeling nutrient deficient.

I go here occasionally. When I want to eat something but not too heavy, and I want it to be healthy and delicious without feeling too heavy on my body, this is the place to go. I have been to other restaurants before, but I like this one because it is easy to access and easy to get into. I wish the seats were a bit more spacious, but overall it's good. I always check the menu before going. The various healthy side dishes make me feel like I am doing something good for my body, so I will continue to go there.

A shop located in the basement of an office building. The shop itself is small and narrow, but I was able to enter without waiting. Today's menu included 39 healthy rice balls, sesame cabbage, sweet potatoes, and a variety of colorful vegetables in small portions. This is great for women... I often lack vegetables, so I appreciate having many options like this. Each dish had a gentle flavor that made me want to go for seconds. The taste was so homely that I felt like trying to make it at home!

Today, I experienced a business district lunch with my friends. I found this place, "Gensan-an," online as a highly rated restaurant around Yodoyabashi. Their lunch, which is full of various seasonal vegetables, seems to be very popular among women. Even though I wasn't really interested in the word "healthy," seeing the long line at the storefront completely changed my mind. I was in a rush to write my name on the waiting list board. We were finally seated and we all ordered the "39-ingredient healthy set meal." The main dish today was grilled chicken breast. The onion sauce on the chicken was surprisingly delicious, I want to try making it at home. Every dish had a deep and delicious flavor that highlighted the quality of the ingredients. I can't even cook 1/3 of these ingredients normally, and the brown rice cooked by professionals was chewy and exquisite. The portion size was generous and there was nothing to complain about. As someone who usually lacks vegetables and consumes too many calories when eating out, this ultra-rare healthy lunch was a nice change. It's good to have once in a while!

This is a place to go when you want to eat a nutritious and well-prepared meal. It is conveniently located right next to Yodoyabashi Station. I tried brown rice for the first time at this restaurant! In the evening, they serve a small amount of green smoothie-like drink, ginger tea, and nuts at the beginning, which was a nice surprise. The curry that I was curious about turned out to be luxurious and impressive when it arrived. Since I'm not good with very spicy food, I personally found it a bit spicy. It's a place where you can enjoy delicious meals made with a focus on vegetables and prepared with care. The taste is great and the staff are also nice.

A wonderful cafe restaurant where you can enjoy delicious meals guilt-free while staying healthy. I was craving for some healthy Japanese food after eating too many carbs during my trip and feeling tired. The vegetable curry had sweet fried vegetables with a nice balance of spices, offering a gentle flavor. They also served a delicious juice called "salad" at the beginning, which was like a tasty green juice, and a delightful tofu pudding for dessert, all under 500 calories.
