I used it for my birthday party!! It was very delicious!! The sake was also amazing!! The tableware is unique with Shigaraki ware!! Japanese food is also delicious!! It was a very nice atmosphere at the restaurant!!

Located on the first floor of a hotel, about a 5-minute walk from exit 25 of Namba underground mall. I was tasked by my mentor to find a good Japanese sake bar, and I ended up here. Delicious yakitori and reliable traditional Japanese cuisine by the friendly owner. Just a bit pricey, so it's best to visit when you have some extra cash on hand.

I went out for drinks with a senior colleague who had just returned from Tokyo. The place we went to was a bit hard to find, which was nice. The yakitori was delicious, each skewer had its own unique flavor and was very satisfying. I tried the "furisode" part for the first time, and it was quite tasty. And of course, we ended the meal with Oyassan's nikujaga (beef stew), which was a perfect way to finish. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

My brother, who has a "will die if he doesn't eat yakitori" disease, found a great new restaurant, so we decided to check it out. Located in the hotel district, this place exudes the unmistakable aroma of yakitori. We sat at the counter right in front of the grill and toasted with Akahoshi sake. The first dish was high-quality tofu marinated in Nanban sauce. Tofu can be made into Nanban-style dish?! It was delicious! The smooth and beautiful liver sashimi with myoga did an excellent job. I could lick this sesame oil forever. The chicken neck with yuzu pepper and sudachi was outstanding. The crispy skin was irresistible. In between the skewers, the chef's special dish was served. It was called "Dad's nikujaga," made by wrapping minced meat stewed in mashed potatoes and frying it. The fluffy mashed potatoes were incredibly sweet. The heart is always grateful for the gift of life. The tender and juicy meat on skewers is the essence of life. The chef's chilled dish was a bowl of winter melon, grilled eggplant, young corn, and asparagus. This refreshing taste was the best. It reset my palate, allowing me to eat more. The grilled negima chicken with green onions was followed by chicken breast and chouchin mushrooms. Skewering half-cooked chouchin mushrooms with chicken breast and dipping them in runny egg yolk was a sinful act. The tsukune was incredibly juicy, surpassing the usual chicken meatball. The interlude included homemade pickled ginger, dried baby sardines, and aged cucumber pickles. The selection was perfect for a sake drinker like me. I wish they sold these in bottles. The rare peach-colored momo tartare was alluring. The juicy meat juice overflowed from under the crispy skin. Once again, myoga did a fantastic job. We ended the meal with grilled rice balls. Apparently, you can also have them with egg yolk and cheese on top. The visual was devilishly funny. The rice balls were crispy on the outside and soaked in sauce on the inside, delicious! The dessert came with homemade pudding (made by the chef's younger brother) and all-you-can-drink for 6000 yen. They also have unique shochu and rare sake, making the all-you-can-drink deal quite a steal. The family-run atmosphere was also lovely. We made sure to make a reservation for our next visit before leaving.

Namba Satori is a restaurant located on the west side of Dotonbori in Namba, known for its delicious charcoal-grilled yakitori. We ordered the 3500 yen course, which was amazing. The top dish was a simple but incredibly tasty white liver sashimi with sesame oil and salt. The second dish was inspired by a famous Fukuoka restaurant, featuring crispy skin and a flavorful sauce. The third dish, the heart skewer, was juicy and bursting with flavor. In addition to the skewers, we also enjoyed other dishes like the meat and potato stew, which was both visually appealing and delicious. The course included 7 skewers, 4 dishes, and dessert for only 3500 yen, making it a great deal. The staff, who were all family members, added a warm and welcoming touch to the dining experience. Overall, Namba Satori is a hidden gem for yakitori in Minami, and I look forward to visiting again.

On the evening of August 21, 2020 (Friday), I visited Satori-san in Namba for the first time after making a reservation in advance. This restaurant is run by a family, and one of them is an acquaintance of my companion, whom I met after a long time. We started with a highball toast and quickly moved on to sake. The appetizers included a platter of jun-sai, sliced konjac with sashimi, and squid mentaiko, which went well with the drinks. We ordered the "Kyoto Red Chicken Breast Tataki" as our first dish. The tataki is seared right in front of the customers after ordering, allowing us to enjoy the fresh chicken without any unpleasant smell, savoring its rich taste. This dish paired perfectly with the sake, starting with "Shinsei No.6" and moving on to "Takanaga Bodai Junmai Nama". Takanaga has a strong sweetness and rich flavor, making it a great match for the chicken dish. Next, we had the "Ranou Tamagoyaki with Dashi", a flavorful rolled omelette with a strong dashi taste made using Ranou brand eggs. We also ordered yakitori skewers of tsukune, furi-sode, and tamahimo. The tsukune was juicy, furi-sode had a refreshing texture, and tamahimo, made from the egg tube and ovary, had a rich and intense flavor that spread in the mouth. We added "NEXT5 2018" and "Nabeshima Special Junmai" to our sake selection. The NEXT5 sake is a collaboration between five different breweries and offers a well-balanced taste with a refreshing yet flavorful profile. We were then served "Oyaji's Nikujaga" as a complimentary dish, which was a unique version of nikujaga with mashed potato-like smoothness and meat inside. It was an interesting and recommended dish. For the final dishes, we ordered "Iburi Gakko" and "Ranou Tamago Kake Gohan". The egg kake gohan featured Ranou brand eggs with a rich yolk flavor, topped with dashi. It was a perfect way to end the meal. Lastly, we had the "Ranou Tamago Cream Pudding", a delicious pudding made with Ranou brand eggs that had a rich and creamy texture. It was a delightful treat, and it seems like it could be a successful souvenir item if sold. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the selection of sake and shochu was impressive. I highly recommend this place and would love to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

When I come to Namba, I always make sure to stop by this place. It's a bit hidden in a deep location, so it may be hard to find. I enjoyed some delicious sake that suited my taste. The traditional Japanese cuisine prepared by the owner was really tasty!

The station was closer than I thought and the shop was smaller than expected, but it was a clean and new-looking place. The friendly chef and the staff who explained the menu and recommendations in detail created a very pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant. The main dish, yakitori, was cooked to perfection and truly delicious! The other menu items were also of high quality and pleasantly surprised me in a good way.

It's incredibly delicious. The photo shows grilled rice balls and grilled chicken skin with ponzu sauce. The seafood bowl for lunch is also incredibly delicious. I love the heart and gizzard yakitori, so that's highly recommended. The rice is also delicious, so the yakitori bowl is also recommended.

It's a friendly restaurant with a high-end taste. It's family-run, with the owner's father being a Japanese cuisine chef, so the side dishes that come with the yakitori are exceptional. They have a great selection of sake and shochu, perfect for those who enjoy them. The prices are surprisingly low, they could charge more.
