Actually, I had never heard of Mimi Udon before that day, and I only found out about it while searching at Haneda Airport before my departure. I learned that there are no longer any branches in Tokyo, so as someone who doesn't often visit Osaka, it was a delightful encounter. This too is a once-in-a-lifetime meeting. I opted for the udonsuki. After about a 15-minute wait, I was able to enter the restaurant. The staff added the ingredients, and all I had to do was wait for it to simmer. I tried a sip of the broth first. Ah, it has an elegant flavor. I enjoyed each of the ingredients, and they were all delicious. The ganmodoki, soaked in the flavor, was especially fantastic. I occasionally added some grated daikon to keep the flavors interesting, and I finished every last bite. Honestly, I didn't know the portion size until I ordered, but I was completely full. The attentive service was also very pleasant.

The restaurant was spacious and not crowded, so we felt it was okay to choose our own seats. The udon we ordered, which was described as Kansai-style, tasted different from what we expected. The broth and homemade noodles, which were supposed to be their specialties, were not very impressive. The curry udon came with a separate dish of what seemed like a diluted keema curry. The basic udon composition was similar to kitsune udon. It might be better to turn this place into a café in Itami. Now I understand why the cafes are always crowded.

I entered the restaurant around 7 pm on a Sunday night. Luckily, there was a seat available and I didn't have to wait. I ordered the large portion of curry-scented tempura udon (1,560 yen) and a bottle of beer (800 yen). The server opened the bottle of beer in front of me. I started by enjoying the udon on its own, savoring the delicious soup and green onions. Then I tried the tempura and curry dip, and I was completely satisfied.

When it comes to Itami Airport, I always end up drinking too much. Since it's often at night (lol), I end up repairing my stomach with udon. And of course, I have to mention Mimi Uo. The broth is really delicious, and whenever I go to Itami Airport, I always make sure to stop by this shop.

I stopped by for a quick lunch on my way back from a business trip. I didn't have to wait long for my udon to arrive after placing my order. Last time, I rated it 2.8 because I wanted it to be firmer, but this time it didn't bother me as much. Maybe I had set my expectations too high last time. Returning from a business trip in Osaka. Couldn't find a restaurant as everywhere was crowded and there was a 45-minute wait for takoyaki, so I decided to go to Mimasuya, which was relatively empty. I treated myself to an eel rice bowl and udon set since I was tired. The eel had a refreshing flavor unlike in Kanto, and the udon was delicious with a flavorful broth. In the end, maybe it was better not to have takoyaki after all.

The udon noodles were slightly thin with a good chewy texture. They were smooth and had a nice mouthfeel. The broth was rich in flavor and had a refined and gentle taste. The fried tofu was fluffy and soaked in plenty of broth. Every bite released a juicy burst of broth. It had a slightly sweet seasoning and was delicious. I didn't have much time, but it was convenient to eat right after getting off the plane.

I visited because they were open in the morning. They offer rice porridge set, udon set, curry udon, and chicken nanba. I wanted to eat chicken, and Mimi-san recommended the chicken nanba for its broth, but it wasn't to my personal liking. Chicken Nanba costs 1,000 yen at the airport. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I stopped by here for lunch before catching my return flight. I was craving inari sushi, so I ordered the Kyoto-style tempura udon with inari sushi set. It came with 3 prawns, shishito pepper, and 2 pieces of inari sushi for only 1200 yen, which is quite reasonable. The Kyoto-style udon was elegant and had a delicious broth. But the highlight was the smooth and tasty inari sushi.

I came to Itami Airport to see off a friend from Iwate Prefecture who has been in Osaka since the day before yesterday. It's been a while since I've been to Itami Airport, and the restaurant area has changed a lot. I had no idea that Mimi Uo was here. Even though it was only 11:30, the airport was very crowded and I couldn't get into any restaurant without waiting in line. The beef udon was delicious, especially when I added shichimi pepper.

Cold udon is perfect for enjoying the essence of udon. Although it's Osaka-style udon, it has a good chewiness, making it satisfying to eat. By the way, Mime Udon is known for its udon, but the soba was also good. I recommend trying the cold soba as well. In the morning at Itami Airport. I had breakfast to pass the time. Although there was okayu (rice porridge), I was in the mood for udon, so I ordered Tori Nanba (chicken Nanba) and a lemon sour. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was quiet and relaxing, which was nice for early morning. The Tori Nanba had a light broth and plenty of chicken. I was happy because I was hungry in the morning. There were also lots of green onions, which was a delight for green onion lovers. It was delicious. It was a shame that they didn't accept PayPay.
