There is a shop in the back streets of Tennoji that reminds me of Ekinishi near Hiroshima Station. There are seats on the second floor, so more people can enter than it looks from the outside. The recommended dish is horse sashimi. The portion is not that large, but you can eat it at a reasonable price.

Oh man, I'm so torn between being happy and sad! Once again, I stumbled upon a terrible restaurant! Hello! I am Naniwa's honest reviewer, whose main diet is oatmeal! The taste wasn't anything special, yet they were incredibly rude to the customers! The staff's quality is extremely poor! The worst ever! Seriously! It's really upsetting! By the way, I never write superficial reviews. You understand, right everyone?

This is a review of a restaurant I used during my stay in Tennoji. They were running a campaign and the beer was cheap, so I decided to give it a try. They had Hakata-style skewers, which I learned are made by wrapping ingredients in pork and grilling them. I didn't try the Hakata skewers this time, but the grilled chicken skewers were delicious. The chicken soup seemed like they just added hot water to some kind of base, which was a bit disappointing to see, but for 100 yen, I can't complain. Overall, it was a good place to have a drink alone. Thank you for the meal.

We used it for a drinking party with 10 people at work. The usual price is 3980 yen, but with a coupon, it was 3480 yen. The 2-hour all-you-can-drink course includes... Horse sashimi, vegetable sticks, rolled omelet, fried chicken, enoki mushroom wrapped in pork, yam wrapped in pork, green onion wrapped in pork, shrimp with miso mayo skewers, sukiyaki skewers, chicken tea-soaked rice, and dessert. That's a total of 11 items. First, the horse sashimi. It's delicious! Horse meat is my favorite among raw meats. But only one piece per person... The rolled omelet was fluffy and tasty! But again, one piece per person... The fried chicken is a specialty, but the breading is too crunchy for my liking. And again, one piece per person... Next came the skewered items. Each skewer was big and satisfying to eat, and they were quite tasty. But they seem to be obsessed with wrapping pork around everything. Is that the definition of Hakata skewers? The chicken tea-soaked rice was a separate dish. We paid 3480 yen with the coupon, but even with the all-you-can-drink included, the usual price of 3980 yen seems high. They count one piece of rolled omelet as one item, which is almost deceptive. Well, the taste was pretty good though. P.S. The location on the map on Tabelog is wrong. It's actually inside the Sawa Shopping Street.

I often drink alone, so I decided to challenge the back alley of Tennoji, where I have no knowledge of the area. I went into this restaurant with a drink-all-you-can plan because I like being able to eat a variety of skewers little by little. However, the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was not great, with young staff members following a typical customer service script. The menu consisted of creative skewers, but it lacked a certain level of uniqueness. I would say it was average for the price.
