Baskin-Robbins is always crowded with local families, and they have a free parking lot available. My favorite ice cream is the "Nuts to You Regular Cone" for 390 yen, filled with five types of crunchy roasted nuts. Summer is the perfect time for ice cream! Located on the first floor of a neighborhood shopping center (NSC) centered around Kansai Supermarket and Nitori, this branch of Baskin Robbins is about 1km from the always crowded R2 intersection "Utashima Bridge" towards R43. Inside the store, there are eat-in corners with 4 tables for 2 people and 4 tables for 4 people. I decided to try a different flavor this time, even though I really enjoyed the December flavor "Twinkle Tree" at the previous visit to the Kitakagaya store. I chose the "Winter White Chocolate" in a kids size cup for 260 yen (tax included). The ice cream was very creamy with a delicious white chocolate flavor. It also had cherry and chocolate chunks as accents. It was sweet but refreshing, with a taste reminiscent of cheesecake. Even though the ice cream was small, it was delicious. There was only one female staff member working, and she seemed busy in the back, so it took a while for her to notice me and another customer who came in after me. The bell hanging on the door was making a "clang-clang" sound, but she didn't hear it.
