Today's lunch was found by chance as I passed by this place! I knew there was a convenience store on the first floor, but I didn't know about the second floor... I discovered it from the sign in front of the stairs! The many typos are a sign of authenticity! As I went up to the second floor, I could smell spices in the air... Upon opening the entrance, it didn't look like a typical curry shop! The interior had tables, sunken kotatsu private rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere! It was spacious, but it quickly filled up during lunchtime with mostly female customers! Could it be a hidden gem...? Now, looking at the menu... I ordered this item that offers a variety of dishes! ◾️Special Set (1,290 yen) It includes a choice of two curries, naan, rice, salad, 1 piece of tandoori chicken, 1 piece of seekh kebab. By the way, naan and rice are refillable for free, and it comes with a choice of drink: lassi, mango lassi, or drink bar... Since there were many curry options, I chose chicken curry and keema curry from the recommended top row of the menu! You can also choose the level of spiciness, with 1 being around medium... After waiting for about 10 minutes, a large tray arrived! Yes, I knew it was going to be a lot of food... haha The size of the tandoori chicken was like a side dish... I started with the salad with spicy dressing and then quickly dipped the curry in the crispy outside, soft inside naan! The chicken curry had chunks of chicken in it... The initial impression was smooth with a strong spice flavor in the background! Easy to eat, but you can taste various spices! The keema curry was basically the same but with a different richness... The flavor of the meat definitely brings out different umami... It had a mild kick but a strong sweating effect! That's the spice effect... It was addictively delicious... The seekh kebab was spicy right from the start! However, it wasn't too spicy, allowing you to enjoy the spices! Unlike chili peppers, it doesn't directly hit your mouth, which is nice... The tandoori chicken was also spicy! The meat was so full of spices that it fell apart... The moist texture of the meat was delicious too... I need a beer... haha Towards the end, I was almost obligated to finish the meal! I'm stuffed... Let's relax with coffee after the meal... It was delicious with authentic yet approachable spices! Next time, I'll go for a smaller portion... Thank you for the meal!
