I enjoyed a traditional Japanese course meal at a formal dining setting, followed by whiskey at the bar. Feeling a bit peckish later on, I stopped by a place where I had some delicious oden paired with sweet potato shochu. The broth was gentle and tasty! Kansai oden is really delicious. And to finish off, I had some udon noodles. They were firm and tasty! Being close to Shikoku, it's no doubt that Osaka's udon is of high quality. I definitely want to go back again!

I met up with a customer and before going for drinks, we stopped by this udon restaurant, Sanuki Road, for the first time. I didn't feel like having udon, so I chose the side dishes - potato salad and spinach with sesame dressing. The portions were huge, definitely enough for two people! I love this kind of Japanese food, so I was happy. The taste was delicious and the cost performance was good. It's perfect for having a light drink or as a second stop. The seating area is small and there are not many seats, so depending on the timing, you may not be able to get in. Thank you for the meal!

After drinking and eating at a company drinking party, a colleague took us to a udon restaurant they knew. Even though there was a reservation, we were allowed to enter because we were leaving soon. I ordered warm kelp udon. The udon noodles were like Sanuki style but softer, with less slippery texture. The broth was not very sweet but had a strong umami flavor, with a strong kelp flavor due to the abundance of shredded kelp. It was refreshing and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

A long-established udon restaurant in Kita-Shinchi that has been loved since ancient times. It's always crowded, but if you time it right, you can get in. From obanzai to oden, and then udon. The menu is well-considered for the people of Kita-Shinchi. Plus, there are many counter seats, making it easy to visit alone. Start by eating obanzai and ordering oden. Oden ingredients include egg rolls and cabbage rolls, which are quite unique. But they are delicious. Even though I didn't drink alcohol, the sobering udon (bonito, plum, bonito flakes, kaiware) was comforting and tasty. The broth is delicious, and the thin noodles make it easy to finish everything quickly. They are particular about their udon, ingredients, and broth. It was a cup full of dedication. It was a truly blissful moment. Enjoy the atmosphere and savor the food. This is one of the satisfying restaurants. I think there's no need for further explanation. I just want people to come and taste it for themselves.

During dinner time, I met up with local friends and decided to try a Japanese restaurant that I hadn't been to in a while. The food was still delicious, but it seemed like there had been a change in ownership. The older lady and the chef who used to be at the counter were no longer there, and a younger man was now behind the counter. We started with some draft beer and ordered a variety of appetizers from the large plates lined up on the counter. Everything was delicious as usual, and my friend who was trying it for the first time also enjoyed the food. We ended the meal with curry udon, which was a great choice as my friend loves curry. The curry-flavored broth was tasty, and the udon noodles were cooked perfectly. I tried to find the black shichimi pepper that I used to like, but it was no longer available. The background music had also changed to a more youthful selection, even though the main customers seemed to be older. It was a bit disappointing to see so many changes, but overall it was a good meal. I'll definitely visit again when I'm in the mood for udon in the area.

I visited this restaurant because my usual udon shop was crowded. It's a popular bar with many customers finishing up business meetings. I ordered the Ume-ju udon this time. The udon was a bit soft, a typical udon you can find anywhere, but it was gentle on the stomach and had a refreshing taste, which might be just right for those finishing up meetings. I might try the side dishes next time I come.

After going out drinking, we ended up at this udon restaurant, but instead of udon, we only had oden. Honestly, I was pretty drunk so I don't remember much about the interior or anything. I just remember that the oden was delicious. I was surprised by how big each piece was, especially the beef tendon which was really tasty. The unique ingredients like chikuwa, shirataki, daikon, shumai, and mochi kinchaku were all a pleasant surprise. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

This is a hand-made udon shop with a wide variety of oden dishes! They also offer a selection of side dishes like grilled salmon, potato salad, nikujaga, salad, and more, making it feel like a small izakaya. The oden dishes are generously sized and flavorful with a rich broth. The zaru udon has a nice chewy texture and is simply delicious. The shop is open until 2 am, with the last order being around 1:30 am. It's great that they are open late!

I ate oden and zaru soba at the Sanuki Road Kitashinchi store. Oh, I'm so full... I ate too much!! Sushi and various other dishes! The oden is quite delicious. The flavors are well infused!! And the zaru udon is really delicious. The noodles are thin and firm. The interior of the store is well thought out! The store closes at 2 am with the last order at 1:30 am! I just made it in time!! Well, it's not particularly delicious or bad, it's just average.

The place is a restaurant located right in the middle of Kitashinchi, on the first floor. The atmosphere inside was quite relaxed. The oden, udon, and horse mackerel were all lightly seasoned and refreshing. As expected in Kitashinchi, the prices were on the higher side, especially for dinner.

I went to the udon restaurant Sanukiji in Kitashinchi. I think I had duck udon and soy sauce udon haha Duck and green onions go really well together, right? The green onions had a good texture and were delicious! The soy sauce udon was refreshing, and you can eat it smoothly even when you're full. I was also interested in the oden and side dishes.
