It is located just a little off from Komagawa shopping street. I visited on a Sunday afternoon, and there were already many people there. Perhaps because there are many local residents nearby, or maybe people stopping by while shopping. It's just the right place for a break or a quick bite to eat. I had the tamago (egg) set meal, and I must say, it's not easy to find such delicious tamagoyaki. And the cost performance is outstanding. Hooray for the local diner! Thank you for the meal.

I went after working part-time from morning until 1 pm. I had a bento box for 750 yen that I hadn't eaten yet, along with a large bottle of beer. The cold beer felt refreshing after sweating during work. The bento box had a variety of delicious side dishes, and the simmered dish made by the owner's mother was really tasty. The flavors were gentle on the body, unique to this restaurant. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

After finishing work, I took advantage of a weekday off to have lunch at Komagawa Shopping Street!! I had a Tempura Soba for 950 yen. It looked delicious from the start, haha. The plump shrimp tails were delicious, and the tempura of Mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley) was also good. The soba was served in one go, so the smooth texture was excellent. I was completely satisfied with the feast. Thank you very much for the meal. Address: 4-16-9 Komagawa, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City. Phone: 06-6691-4094. On weekdays off, it's nice to go shopping and have lunch at this place in Komagawa Shotengai. They offer a variety of lunch sets, and their cold soba is really delicious. I had the Zaru Chotto Teishoku for 750 yen, which included cold soba, Kinoha Donburi, and side dishes like vegetables, pickles, and okara. The Kinoha Donburi with shiitake mushrooms and fish cake topped with egg was especially tasty. Thank you for the meal! Located at 4-16-9 Komagawa, Higashi Sumiyoshi-ku, Osaka City. Open from 11:00 to 18:00, closed on Tuesdays. Feel free to follow me on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter. Your support through clicks on the blog ranking is greatly appreciated!

Lunch special for February of the 5th year of Reiwa (11:00~) for 590 yen. It includes a simmered dish with potatoes, carrots, radish, and edamame, chicken wrapped in shiso leaves, macaroni salad, mapo tofu, rice, miso soup, and pickles. This delicious set meal offers excellent value for money.

I've been stuck at home all morning due to the rain. Around 3 pm, I got hungry and decided to visit this place nearby that I've been to several times. I started off with a large bottle of beer and the recommended daily special set meal. The daily special was only 590 yen and the tofu-wrapped meat was delicious. I don't usually eat tofu, but the tofu here was surprisingly tasty. Since this place originally started as a soba noodle shop, the miso soup was incredibly flavorful. I was a little worried it wouldn't be enough, but I ended up feeling pretty full. Thanks for the meal!

Visited Morioka Shoten after getting some freshly made tempura. Arrived at 12:20 and the place was already 80% full! The customers seemed to be on the older side, but the homemade side dishes were delicious and popular. Yatanomon Family Restaurant also recommended this place. I was craving a pork cutlet rice bowl, so I ordered two for a total of 1500 yen. The food arrived in about 15 minutes, and it looked so delicious! The rice bowl, made with flavorful broth, was really tasty. I'm not a big fan of soupy dishes, but my daughter enjoyed it too. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. The tempura rice bowl that the man in front of me ordered also looked really good. Thank you for the meal!

I went around 1:30 p.m. and had the Tamago Set Meal for 590 yen. The restaurant was still busy as usual, with almost all seats taken. There were 3 people in the kitchen and 1 person serving customers, so a total of 4 staff members. In about 10 minutes, a hot and freshly made Tamagoyaki (rolled omelette) with dashi soy sauce on top arrived with 3 slices. It also came with Nasu Dengaku (miso glazed eggplant), Yuzu Daikon (radish with yuzu citrus), and Ume (plum) small dish, along with rice, tofu miso soup, and pickles, all for 590 yen. It may have felt a bit lacking, but I ended up feeling quite full. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I saw a local reviewer recommend this Tamago-don (egg rice bowl) priced at 590 yen (tax included) and they were so impressed by it. Looking at the photo, it didn't seem very appetizing to me (sorry). I thought it looked like a small breakfast portion, but when I tried it myself, it was surprisingly good. The Dashimaki Tamago (rolled omelette) was really well-made and had a nice fluffy texture. It was so good that I thought it could be served in a sandwich to make it look even better. The two side dishes seemed to change daily and were also quite tasty, giving off a homemade vibe. With prices going up these days, it's nice to find a place that still feels like a traditional eatery. I hope this restaurant doesn't move from near my workplace. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, it's hot again but I rode my bike towards the Needle Nakano area. My main goal is to try Morioka Shouten's mixed tempura! It's still early so I decided to have a light lunch first. I heard that Yatanomongeshokudo is recommended by the owner of Komagawa, so I decided to visit. I arrived just after 11 am and there were only a few customers inside. The interior was bright and clean with only tables available. I ordered the Tamago Set Meal for 590 yen. It's basically a set meal with rolled omelette and two side dishes. It may seem like a breakfast dish, but it's perfect for an early lunch. The food arrived in about 7 minutes and it looked delicious. The rolled omelette here is really tasty. Also, there was a side dish made of mixed sweet potatoes and potatoes with miso sauce, which was incredibly delicious! It was so good that I had to ask for the name of the dish before leaving. I will definitely come back here again. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I had my monthly detailed check-up and the results were good. I arrived at the pharmacy at 10:30 am, but ended up leaving at 12:45 pm because it was so crowded. I couldn't think of what to eat for lunch, but eventually decided on zaru soba. The texture of the chewy buckwheat noodles was delicious. I skipped the hot soba broth and finished with a cold glass of water. The restaurant is located in Osaka City, Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Komagawa 4-16-9. Open from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm, closed on Tuesdays. I went for a late lunch around 3pm after getting a haircut. I wanted something fried, so I ordered a Japanese-style pork cutlet set meal with a large bottle of beer. While watching TV and drinking my beer, the freshly fried pork cutlet was crispy and delicious with a sweet and savory sauce and grated radish. The side dishes like simmered vegetables and miso soup were also tasty. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The daily special side dish set meal (tax included 550 yen) that the people next to me were eating looks cheap and delicious, but I feel like eating noodles instead. I chose the slightly set meal with donburi and udon/soba (tax included 700 yen). You can choose between egg donburi and kinoko donburi. The noodles and donburi are slightly small, but the soba had a good flavor and texture. The kinoko donburi is more cost-effective. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

More than a little off the beaten path of Komagawa Shotengai, you'll find Sarashina-san's place♬ It's not exactly close to my home, but I've been going about once a month lately♬ I usually go for either the bento set meal or the tempura set meal☆ I decide after looking at the menu since the side dishes change☆ Today, I went for the sweet and sour meatball bento, which is one of my favorites☆ Besides the main dish, you get a variety of side dishes for ¥700☆ And everything is homemade and really delicious(^^) The rice and miso soup are also to my liking♬ I'll also share a photo of the tempura set meal I had before♬

Soba Noodles at Sarashina @ Komagawa Nakano March 17, 2021 When you go a little west from Komagawa Shotengai, you'll find this place!! My eyes met with the menu at the storefront (laughs). I came here intending to eat fresh soba noodles, but ended up changing my mind (^_^) Hehe Bento Set Meal (5 dishes with miso soup) for 700 yen. I visited Komagawa shopping street again last week. The ramen shop I wanted to go to had a long line, so I almost became a lunch refugee. But then I found Sarashina at the edge of the shopping street! The set meal with various side dishes that most elderly customers were eating caught my eye. I think it was called the simmered set meal. We decided to go with that for our family. There was also a bento set meal available, which seemed popular. The simmered set meal had 3 side dishes, while the bento set meal had 5 side dishes. I chose the bento set meal. The dried daikon radish, white sauce cabbage roll, and fried tofu in the bento were all homemade and delicious. My family also loved it. This shop has a huge menu with so many options. I wanted to take photos of everything, but I could only take a few because the customers were right above me. There were even more options than what I captured in the photos. I wonder what the set meals and Ebi Sarashina are like. Maybe I'll try the tempura set meal next time. Highly recommended! After that, we went to an interesting cafe, but it wasn't registered on Tabelog so I can't write a review. Too bad.

On Friday, June 26th, for lunch, I went to a restaurant called "Oshokujidokoro Sarashina" located in between Komagawa Nakano Station on the Osaka Metro Tanimachi Line and Harinakano Station on the Kintetsu Namba Line, just a little west of the Komagawa shopping street. The menu at the restaurant includes a variety of dishes, not just soba noodles. I ordered the "Zaru Chotto Teishoku" for 750 yen, which included grated daikon over soba noodles and a "Konoha Don" (leaf bowl) with side dishes like "New Burdock Root Salad" and "Simmered Daikon and Carrots." The soba noodles were delicious with a great texture, and the overall quality and cost performance were excellent. It was a satisfying and affordable meal!

Soba Restaurant "Sarashina" @ Komagawa, a little west of Komagawa Shotengai! They have various menu options during lunchtime (^_^) I was debating on what to eat... Zaru Soba Teishoku for 750 yen. It was hot, so I asked for the teishoku with zaru soba, and this is what I got (lol) It's a little bit of side dishes with the soba noodles. I also went back a few days later because the black soba was delicious! Zaru Soba for 650 yen + extra noodles for 120 yen. I had wasabi in the first half and grated radish in the second half, with soba-yu to finish. Lately, I prefer soba over ramen (lol) Thank you for the meal. I visited "Sara" in Komagawa Shotengai. It's located a little outside the shopping street. I had the Tamago-don (rice bowl with egg, 550 yen including tax). The main dish was a tamagoyaki (Japanese rolled omelette) seasoned with dashi soy sauce-like flavor, accompanied by two side dishes, miso soup, and pickles. It was very reasonably priced at 550 yen. Thank you for the meal.

The shop is located just a short distance from Komagawa Nakano Shotengai. It is a retro-style shop with a nostalgic atmosphere. The menu includes daily specials (today's special is shrimp fry, fried egg, spaghetti salad, fresh vegetables, pumpkin and carrots, edamame, Takano side dish, hijiki stir-fry, pickles, miso soup), noodles, rice bowls, set meals, and more. This time, I had the daily special. The food was served just a few minutes after ordering, very quickly. The simmered and grilled dishes were seasoned perfectly. You can tell that they are made with care and love. I would like to try other dishes as well, so I plan to visit again.
