We visited the okonomiyaki and izakaya restaurant Nekomaru along Route 2 with my colleagues. Even past midnight, the place was packed with young people, perhaps because it was the weekend. The walls were covered with manga! Looking at the menu, it seemed like a place that would attract young customers with around 100 different items including sashimi, salads, teppanyaki, and other dishes. The portion sizes looked quite generous and the prices were reasonable. As for the taste, the okonomiyaki and yakisoba were above average. They had a wide variety of shochu, which was a pleasant surprise for those who enjoy drinking. Next time, I'll try their teppanyaki dishes when I revisit.
