Opened on March 23rd at the Hankyu Ikeda elevated Hankyu Brand Marche 1F, Torisoba Zagan's Ikeda store is a stylish and welcoming place for solo diners. The chicken soba is a standout dish, with creamy and rich broth perfectly complementing the chewy noodles. The crispy fried burdock adds a nice texture, and the tender chashu is excellent. Overall, a delicious meal in the birthplace of chicken ramen. Highly recommended!

It's a 3-day weekend and it's past 2 o'clock on a weekday. There are about 10 people waiting in line at this restaurant. I bought food tickets from the vending machine along the way. Meat sushi is a must-have. The manager or owner of the restaurant offered complimentary paper cups of water to the customers waiting in line. The restaurant has 3 tables for seating, each table is for 4 people. However, some tables are being shared by only 2 people, which is causing the wait time to be longer. I sat down and received my chicken soba in clear broth, followed by the meat sushi. Delicious!

I had eaten at a different store in the past, so even though it was a different location, it was my second time trying this place! I had the chicken soba in white broth and seared meat sushi. The chicken soba in white broth was similar to what I had before, but I think I would have liked it more if the noodles were a bit firmer (sorry for being picky). The seared meat sushi was new to me and it was so delicious that I felt like I could have eaten about 6 more pieces. My friend was eating the tsukemen next to me, and I tried a bite. I found the flavor to be richer and I actually preferred it. I want to try the mixed soba next time!!!

I went on a business trip to Osaka. I visited a chicken soba restaurant called Zaging near Hankyu Ikeda Station in Osaka. The chicken pai-tan ramen is famous, but I tried the limited menu item at the Ikeda branch, chicken soba shoyu ramen with a luxurious topping added. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

On a hot day, I had ramen for the second time, which is quite rare for me. I thought it was the Ginza main store, but it's actually in Higobashi! While waiting outside for a bit, a cheerful lady brought me cold water. I bought a meal ticket outside and entered the shop. If you're dining alone, you'll be seated at the counter, but if you're with two or more people, you'll be guided to a spacious table. I had the Chicken White Broth Mazesoba for 980 yen (tax included), which came with a small bowl of white rice. The flat noodles were mixed with a rich orange yolk, and the fried burdock was fragrant. It was delicious to mix the leftover yolk with the white broth and rice, making it a double tasty treat. My companion had the Cold Shrimp Broth Soba for 1000 yen, and they said it was delicious with thin noodles. They have a limited vocabulary, but they enjoyed it. As we left, I saw the same lady from before seeing us off outside. I've never encountered such a polite ramen shop before. Impressive!

After visiting the grave, I had lunch on the way back. I ordered chicken white broth mixed soba with meat sushi and a small side of rice, but ended up ordering sushi as well (lol). It was my first time trying mixed soba at Zasugin, and it was a bit salty. But considering the rice dive, it's probably normal. The diced char siu was generously mixed in and delicious. The portion was satisfying even for a fatty like me (lol). The meat sushi was light and tasty with ponzu sauce.

After going to the legal affairs bureau or with my family. The soup of the tsukemen has a rich flavor but it's delicious!! Chicken broth ramen for 950 yen was delicious! The soup was a bit frothy and rich in flavor. The fried burdock added a nice texture and taste. I remember the one in Shinsaibashi having a darker atmosphere.

Chicken soba in clear broth for 950 yen and meat sushi for 380 yen. It was so delicious! I had been wanting to go to Zaging for a while, so my expectations were high, but it was just as tasty as I had hoped! The soup had a lot of burdock and dried fish stock, making it gentle and easy to drink. It was like a creamy potage soup. The meat sushi was also tender and delicious!

The chicken white broth soup is truly delicious. I have been to Zasgin in Honmachi and was impressed, but this one is really good. It's more like a dish from a kaiseki cuisine rather than ramen. Fried burdock and two kinds of chashu. The ingredients are simple, but the soup is so delicious that you can drink it until the end. The interior of the restaurant is modern with exposed concrete walls and jazzy background music. The loud voice of the energetic manager can be heard well (laughs). The service is polite and well-mannered, probably because they are well-trained. There was no wait when I arrived at the restaurant, so I was able to enter immediately. The counter seats were full, so I was seated at a table. The summer limited edition Lightly boiled fish soba had medium-thin straight noodles with a good texture, and they were refreshing, perhaps due to being rinsed with cold water. The noodles had a moderate elasticity and were very delicious. The cold soup had a strong flavor of boiled fish with a hint of yuzu, making it refreshing yet rich in flavor. This was a big hit and very delicious! The Ikeda store limited edition Chicken soba clear soup had the same noodles as the previous dish, but they were not rinsed with cold water, so the texture was slightly different. The soup was light and had a soy sauce base. It lacked the intense umami of chicken and the distinctive umami of soy sauce, making it a menu item with a less impactful flavor. In my opinion, Zagan is best known for its chicken white broth or boiled fish soba. The service and atmosphere were impeccable, as expected from a restaurant operated by Ginnobudou Co., Ltd., with a stylish ambiance and friendly service.

On July 21, 2023 (Thursday), for dinner, I happened to pass by "Torisoba Zagi Ikeda Store" which is located just a 2-minute walk from my home, next to "Yayoiken Hankyu Ikeda Store" and "Tonkatsu Hanamura Ikeda Store". This ramen specialty shop debuted in recent years, and although I had heard that it wasn't anything special, it is very popular with a large number of customers during the day, often overflowing outside with lines of 10 or more people, resulting in long wait times. It seems rare to be able to enter without waiting. Tonight, by chance, around 5:30 p.m., I passed by and it happened to be empty, so I decided to enter. I ordered the light salted sardine soba, which was displayed on a large menu board outside the store. I also added a side of white rice. Light salted sardine soba (regular) ¥1,000 White rice ¥150 Total ¥1,150 It was a cold ramen, but there were some drawbacks. The soup was too salty and the chashu was thick and tough to eat. Ideally, a cold soup should have a significantly lower salt content. Thinly sliced chashu would be better. It was delicious, but I would say the evaluation is just average, neither good nor bad. The ramen wasn't anything special, but what impressed me the most was the enthusiastic attitude of the young male staff of 5 at the store, who provided excellent and friendly service. Also, when leaving the store, they escorted me all the way to the exit, ensuring that I was out of sight before leaving. This excellent customer service made this popular restaurant, despite its ordinary menu, a place I would like to visit again. I visited the always crowded ramen shop "Chicken Soba Ginza Ikeda Branch". I ordered the Chicken Tsukemen for 980 yen. I dipped the thick noodles in the rich and creamy soup and it was delicious! My wife ordered the Chicken Soba Shirodashi for 950 yen with an extra serving of noodles for 100 yen. We shared a bit of that as well. The thin noodles soaked in the rich and creamy soup were delicious and satisfying!

I had always been curious while passing by the shop, and finally had the opportunity to visit around 2:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon for a late lunch. - Chicken Soba Shio (Salt) - 950 yen The creamy and rich soup, similar to a potage, felt gentle on the stomach and warmed the body. The chicken breast, chashu, thin noodles, fried burdock, menma, and garnished vegetables all blended together harmoniously. - Chicken Tsuke Soba - 980 yen The slightly thicker noodles paired well with the flavorful dipping sauce. Adding ginger brought a refreshing twist to the taste. - Noodle Large Serving - 100 yen I opted for extra noodles with the Chicken Soba Shio. Prices are all inclusive of tax. Despite visiting during a late lunch hour, the restaurant was full. Many foreign visitors, possibly from the Chicken Ramen Museum, added to the lively atmosphere. The staff were all polite and hospitable, making it a very comfortable experience. They provide aprons, so you can enjoy your meal without worrying about getting your clothes dirty. The location is right by Hankyu Takarazuka Line Ikeda Station, under the Hankyu Railway viaduct.

This restaurant is famous for its chicken broth ramen. However, I tried the regular chicken soy sauce ramen today at a different location. To be honest, the taste was just average. The restaurant had a limited number of seats, and I had to wait quite a bit on a Sunday night. Overall, it was slightly below my expectations.

This is a masterpiece. I tried the Chicken Paitan Ramen. The creamy soup paired with thin noodles was delicious, with flavors and smoothness spreading in my mouth. Located near the Ramen Museum, I could feel the determination to let ramen lovers from around the world enjoy this delicious taste.

I stopped by before returning from Itami Airport. It was lunchtime and I waited in line for about an hour. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very stylish and the staff were excellent. The rich soup and the noodles that intertwined with it were incredibly delicious. And finally, diving into the rice at the end!!! I'm really hooked on this way of eating. Although there are chain stores all over the place, they have their own unique menu, and I would love to visit again.

I remembered the shock when I first visited the main store over 5 years ago. I used to go to the shops in Higobashi and Shinsaibashi for a while, but I stopped going there when I changed jobs. Chicken soba with white broth (with a dive rice bowl) with extra burdock is now easier to get to, which is great! I like the clear broth too, but it's a matter of preference. I like the white broth when mixed with rice. I should try the mixed soba too! It's not a big deal, but before, all the guys from this company had a sharp barber style haircut with a barber outfit that suited them. It was good in its own way. Well, they are young kids, so they probably didn't like it.

I tried the "Limit Concentration (Large)" at Zakin-san! This Tuesday limited edition ramen costs 1,100 yen (tax included) for a regular size. You can only pay with cash at the ticket machine outside the shop. I added 100 yen for a large size and 150 yen for extra rice. The limit concentration soup is thicker than the rich soup at Tenkaippin, almost sticking to the spoon. The presentation is clean with nicely arranged noodles, and the fried burdock and generous chashu are great. The paprika and nagaimo surprisingly complement the dish. The combination of white rice and the rich soup is surprisingly delightful. Additionally, at the Ikeda branch, ramen for children under elementary school age is free.
