Iron Man, who was doing BM, had visited twice in the past, but both times were affected by the new corona, so only take-out was available! If your home or workplace is within walking distance, it might be okay, but taking this out and getting on a bus or train seems daunting, and it seems like it won't be able to show its true deliciousness when it gets cold. This time, I made sure in advance by calling and confirming that eating in was available again, and set out fully prepared. The restaurant is a 3-4 minute walk from Hirao Station. I arrived at 11:28. The ticket machine is outside the store. I put in the money, but there was no response...? A staff member came out and said, "It starts at 11:30," and guided me. I waited outside for a while for the store to finish opening preparations. While waiting, I passed the time reading the eating instructions on the signboard next to the store. Three minutes later, I pressed the button on the ticket machine for "Stamina Teppanyaki Normal Serving (790 yen, tax included)" again! As a weekday limited benefit, rice and miso soup are included. I sat at the end of the counter seats and handed over the ticket, also asking for an apron. The piping hot teppanyaki was soon served. I took the wooden spatula on the counter and placed it under the teppanyaki, tilting it so that the cooking juice collected on one side. The method is to mix the cooking juice with your preferred miso. The ingredients were a simple composition of meat and cabbage. Garlic, salt, and pepper were well seasoned. The meat was pork with harami and sagari. I'm not sure which is which, but the thick, elastic meat is full of meaty flavor with each bite, but it's quite a workout for the jaw. (Laughs) There are sweet miso and spicy miso to dip on one side. I tried the sweet miso first, which was enough for a satisfying finish. I also added a bit of spicy miso, but it was fine without it. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
