I used it for a regular meeting with drinking friends. It was my third time using it, I think? I visited after a long time, and this time the 4200 yen course was offered for 4000 yen. It seems that the sashimi was no longer included. Still, it's great to have 3 hours of all-you-can-drink at this price even on a Saturday. The dishes were all delicious, and I was satisfied with the amount that filled my stomach. The drinks were served quickly without any delay, which is quite important for all-you-can-drink. The sea bream rice in a pot was served individually in a bowl this time, not in a pot. The taste was still delicious as always. It was a big hit this time too, and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. I would like to use it again.

This is my second visit after last month. It's rare to find a place that offers a 3-hour all-you-can-drink course on a Saturday. You might see it occasionally at places catering to young people for parties, but it's unusual for a counter-focused yakitori restaurant, right? This time, we had a drinking party with 5 people, so we chose the same 4200 yen all-you-can-drink course as last time. The chicken bar was piled high with enough for 5 people, it was a mountain of food (laughs). By the time the rice in the hot pot came out, we were already quite drunk and I have no memory of the taste (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

Fukuoka's coronavirus alert has been lifted, and the shortened business hours have also been lifted. This weekend, I went to a restaurant for the first time since then. I ordered a 2.5-hour all-you-can-drink course for 4,200 yen. The timing of the dishes coming out was just right, and before I knew it, I was full and couldn't finish the rice dish at the end. I had a great time drinking and eating comfortably. Since it was a private tatami room, I was able to relax without worrying about being too loud. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

After work, tonight... while Christmas is being celebrated around the world, it doesn't really affect me this year, so I'll just have a drink and head home! Haha. It's a lovely Friday, so I decided to wander around without a specific destination in mind, and then I was drawn to a place by its sign that read "Large Beer for 390 yen"! As a beer lover, those words were truly wonderful to see. The interior of the place had counter seats and a tatami area in the back. You order your drinks verbally and write down your food orders on paper. I checked out the menu and ordered some items: - Kimchi (380 yen) - Pork belly (150 yen) - Liver with sauce (130 yen) - Intestine with sauce (150 yen) - Lettuce-wrapped pork belly (200 yen) - Myoga-wrapped pork belly (230 yen) - Yam (150 yen) - Classic Lager large bottle (390 yen) I started with the kimchi as a snack, and took a big gulp of beer! The kimchi had a sesame oil flavor that was really nice, a great snack. Although I could easily finish a bottle with just this kimchi, I held back a bit since there were yakitori coming. The skewers didn't all come out at once, they were timed well. Each time a skewer arrived, a small dish was provided, which made me feel slightly guilty... haha. Here are the skewers that I didn't want to forget: The liver was half-cooked, with a nice firm and creamy texture, delicious! The sauce was a good match... A place that grills liver well is reliable. The myoga-wrapped pork was a great combination of myoga's flavor and the pork's umami! The moromi on top was also a nice touch! The intestine was thick and had a crispy texture when you bit into it! The more you chew, the more flavor you get! The yam had a perfect crispy texture that remained... I liked it. I added a skewer that I forgot to order and something that caught my eye for the finale! Of course, I added another affordable bottle of beer! - Heart with salt (130 yen) - Grilled rice ball (220 yen) - Classic Lager large bottle (390 yen) The heart also had a firm and bouncy texture left from the grilling... Can't go wrong with this. The grilled rice ball for the finale had a strong soy sauce flavor throughout, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside! The flavor of the large leaf and seaweed on top was also a perfect match... The slightly strong soy sauce taste also paired well with the alcohol! A place with affordable bottled beer and a very high level of satisfaction for me personally! It was a great Christmas present! Thank you for the meal!

First time at this place. Today's third stop is Cocorico. The bottled beer here is cheap. Even though I was full, I was thinking of just having some skewers, but my friend ordered potato salad (laughs). But it was warm and delicious! The roasted garlic was also delicious, but the smell... it's fine since I have tomorrow off (laughs). The entrance along the road being open gives a feeling of openness. It would have been even better if it wasn't raining. Just a little drink and it cost us 2940 yen for the two of us. This is how we're ending the day. Thank you for the meal (^^).

While walking in the evening, I came across a yakitori restaurant that opened early. I enjoyed some beer and a side of cabbage while savoring dishes like chicken skewers and grilled long yam. The twisted shiso cheese skewer was incredibly delicious! Eating yakitori while feeling the night breeze at the spacious counter was the best. Check out my blog for more details.

Comfortable yakitori izakaya. "COCORIKO" on Watanabe Street. November 15, 2018 NEW! Theme: Fukuoka City, Chuo Ward / Near Minamibu Haruyoshi Park. Visited the izakaya "COCORIKO" for the first time. It had a good atmosphere, but it was always crowded, so I couldn't go before. This time, I arrived early and was the first customer. Welcomed by the pork. Oh, they have big bottles of beer for 390 yen. I thought they didn't have draft beer, but they do. I don't know why the big bottles are cheaper, but oh well. I had some small dishes like bonjiri (120 yen), shiromi (130 yen), and darm (150 yen). The darm was really good, great texture. And the tsukune for 200 yen was delicious, with cartilage in it. I also had sweet potato shochu with water, very comfortable. Now, time to go back to work. Restaurant Information: COCORIKO 092-725-7256 Fukuoka City, Chuo Ward, Watanabe Street 1-8-31

Whenever I go, it's always reliably entertaining! Ever since a senior colleague introduced me to this place, I've been coming here regularly. The combination of yakitori and highball is irresistible. The fried corn, avocado, and sashimi with wasabi soy sauce are my go-to favorites (lol). The photo shows a different dish, but I'll definitely be back for more.

I entered the restaurant on Saturday at 6:30 PM. The counter was empty. Bottled beer was cheaper than draft beer. Next time, I'll try the bottled beer. The potato salad had a tangy flavor with a unique potato taste. It wasn't the usual mayo-heavy salad, but it was delicious! The skewers were tasty, especially the shiso meatball. I usually don't like meatballs, but this one was good. There was no sashimi, so we enjoyed the skewers to the fullest. There weren't many customers when we entered, so we could enjoy a quiet and pleasant conversation. It cost around 7,500 yen for two people.

I went to this restaurant with my colleagues. Overall, there was nothing particularly good or bad about the food, service, or atmosphere. The prices were not high, and it felt like a place you could casually visit. I don't feel like I would want to go there for private occasions or recommend it to friends. Taste & Value for money -> 1.6 points, Service & Atmosphere -> 0.4 points, Convenience & Speed of service -> 0.5 points.

The chicken tenderloin here is exquisite and served rare with yuzu pepper flavor, it's the best. The bottled beer is also cheap and the yakitori in Fukuoka is the best here.

Yesterday, I went to a restaurant called Cocorico with my colleagues from work. Among the various dishes we ordered, the avocado and sashimi with wasabi soy sauce was particularly delicious. It was a perfect balance that could be enjoyed as a drinking snack or with rice. They also had a wide variety of grilled dishes, so we left feeling satisfied. I personally would like to visit again!

This shop, located very close to Ramen Daruma, offers a large bottle of beer for 390 yen, which is very appreciated. The main seating is at the counter surrounding the kitchen, with tatami seating in the back. There are also terrace tables outside, slightly spilling onto the road. The food here is delicious! The potato salad with just the right amount of pepper and bacon is delicious. Also, they serve a generous portion of crispy fried chicken wings. They are also delicious! The beer goes down smoothly. The yakitori is thick and tasty, especially the thigh meat. Everything here is delicious. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I stopped by this second restaurant of the day. I was looking for a place to have a light drink and this one caught my eye, so I decided to go in. The highlight was the cheap bottled beer, apparently it's 390 yen. The counter seats were quite spacious, but there were only two sets of customers. This place is a yakitori restaurant, so I thought about having some yakitori, but then I saw my favorite dish on the menu. It was the fried chicken wings. I ordered the "Generous Chicken Bar Half" and the owner, who had a Kansai accent, made it for me. Oh, by the way, even if you don't order yakitori, they serve cabbage. The chicken bar came with 10 chicken wings, even for the half portion, it was plenty. It was a bit greasy, maybe due to the oil or the temperature. It seems I'm not a big fan of fried food. I should have just stuck with the yakitori. Thank you for the meal~.
