This is a review of the breakfast venue at the hotel "Tokyu Stay Hakata". The breakfast cost 1,020 yen, which I found relatively reasonable. You buy a meal ticket at the front desk, hand it to the staff at the entrance of the restaurant, and they give you a sign to put on your table to reserve it. The breakfast included salad, bacon, scrambled eggs, grilled fish (mackerel), croquette, mentaiko (seasoned cod roe), lotus root kinpira, simmered dishes, white rice, pickles, curry, miso soup, and various side dishes. The food was delicious and satisfying, especially the grilled fish. I also enjoyed mixing natto and mentaiko on top of rice. Overall, it was a great breakfast with good value for money. I would definitely like to have breakfast here again.

This place offers all-you-can-eat lunch which is quite cost-effective. Located on the first floor of Tokyu Stay Hakata. It was quite busy around noon, but there was still some space available. The main seating is at tables, but there are also sunken kotatsu seats. The clientele consists mainly of nearby office workers, but there are also students from Asao Vocational School and groups of female customers from various backgrounds. The menu is surprisingly extensive, with options like tonkatsu, oysters, and ginger pork... There is a variety of choices available. This time, I chose a light soba dish with mackerel. The meal was served quite quickly, without any long wait times. I enjoyed it with freshly ground iced coffee. The tofu served is homemade. At a reasonable price of 803 yen including tax, it was a good deal. The soba was delicious, and the mackerel was on the smaller side, but with plenty of other items, it was fine. The miso soup had plenty of wakame seaweed available for refills, allowing you to adjust to your liking.

For lunch on this day, I decided to go a little further to a restaurant called "Zako-ya" located on the 1st floor of Tokyu Stay Hotel in front of Hakata Station. I remember having delicious sardine sashimi served in a round fish tank at a Zako-ya in Tenjin at night. The lunch menu includes tempura rice bowls, fried chicken, grilled fish, and tempura soba, offering a variety of choices. I was tempted by the "Katsu-ni Katsu-nabe Zen" with simmered pork, but my colleague suggested we go for the sea bream rice bowl since the restaurant's name includes "Fish Club." The service was a bit slow, so the staff recommended that we have some self-service coffee while waiting. Even so, the food was served relatively quickly, in about 12-13 minutes. The rice was served in a small container, enough for about 3 bowls. We were instructed to first eat the sashimi as it is, then pour the broth over it to enjoy it as a broth-soaked rice bowl. The sea bream was firm and thick, with about 10 slices, and the sweet sesame sauce complemented it well. Whether eaten as a rice bowl or as a broth-soaked rice bowl, it was incredibly delicious. It's a perfect dish for a drink after a meal or for lunch the day after drinking too much. Considering the price, I think it was quite satisfying! Yeah, it was delicious! Thank you for the meal~

The restaurant on the first floor of Tokyu Stay Hotel offers a morning buffet with a focus on Japanese cuisine. The dishes are all gently seasoned and the bread is delicious. The atmosphere inside is calm, and although the staff in the dining hall seem busy, they work efficiently.

Located in Tokyu Stay, a 7-8 minute walk from Hakata Station Chikushi Exit. There is a shop with the same name in Tenjin, so I wonder if it is a chain store. The interior is spacious with a relaxed atmosphere and ample space between seats. The set menu includes unlimited rice and miso soup. Coffee is also self-service and complimentary. You can also get refills. The set menu offers a variety of options, and although the tempura bowl was tempting, I chose the Shrimp Tempura Soba (968 yen including tax, credit cards accepted). It was served in 7-8 minutes. The tempura included 2 shrimp, squid, okra, eggplant, and more. It was crispy and delicious, and getting 2 shrimp for this price was a pleasant surprise. The soba noodles had a smooth texture and a generous portion compared to other places. The soba dipping sauce and tempura dipping sauce were served separately, which was a nice touch. I also enjoyed a complimentary iced coffee after the meal, which was very comforting. The prices are reasonable, and the fact that you can have unlimited rice and miso soup, as well as free coffee, makes it popular among office workers and OLs. It's a great option for those who want to eat a lot.
