A hidden gem of a cheap ramen set meal restaurant in the office district of Honcho. I visited after 7-8 years. I vaguely remembered it being around here... and as I walked relying on that memory, the quiet atmosphere remained unchanged (lol). I forgot what the menu was like 7-8 years ago, but I remembered that the cost performance was good, so I hoped it would stay the same... and it didn't disappoint with its pricing! Wow, a restaurant that's a friend to salarymen! In this day and age, price increases are becoming more common, but the ramen set meal is 650 yen! Ramen alone is 550 yen! That's cheap! The system here is first you choose the ramen from the following options (you buy a meal ticket): Tonkotsu, Chicken Shoyu, Niboshi, Triple (not sure what that is), Ume Kombu, Warm Tsukemen, Kamatama Ramen, Cold Tsukemen (limited time? Couldn't choose on this day), Cold Ramen (Hiyashi Chuka?). After handing the meal ticket to the staff, those who ordered a set meal get a plate with unlimited servings of Fried Rice, White Rice, Curry, Steamed Vegetables, Mapo Tofu, Hachimitsu, and Karaage all at once. Once you take it and sit down, you're not allowed to go back for more (refills cost an additional 250 yen). However, Karaage is limited to 2 pieces. Maybe because there were people in the past who ate a lot of Karaage? The flavor is quite bold, but if you think of it as a Chinese buffet, the cost performance is good, you get full, and no complaints. On this day, I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, which had a slightly different flavor. It's a bit spicy because it has chili oil in it. With a variety of ramen types and good cost performance, this place seems handy for before payday. I hope they keep up the good work without changing the prices. Thank you for the meal.
