After work, I had a drink. The dumplings are delicious. The miso sauce with ginger is refreshing. I was surprised by the fried rice. It's simple but definitely one of the best fried rice dishes I've ever had. It's no wonder customers keep coming. I want to try more dishes next time.

The cost performance is amazing. In this fiercely competitive lunch area near Yodoyabashi, you can get all-you-can-eat fried rice for 600 yen, delicious fried chicken, and not-so-great mapo tofu. It's rare to find a place like this. It's popular among salarymen, so it's recommended to go around 1 pm.

After visiting a client, I decided to stop by this restaurant by myself. They offer ramen with a buffet for only 800 yen. It's quite popular, especially right after they open at 11:30 on weekdays. The buffet includes dishes like fried chicken, chapchae, mixed vegetables, mapo tofu, curry, and rice (both white and fried). There were also around 8 different types of salads. The ramen has a triple soup base but is made with whole wheat, so it's relatively light. I was so happy with the variety of dishes. I definitely want to come back here with my colleagues. Thank you for the meal.

Located on the west side of Yodoyabashi Station on the Midosuji Line, this Chinese restaurant is in the basement of the Nissei Fushimi-cho Building. The sign is on the 1st floor, but it's a bit hard to find! It's a super popular spot among local office workers for both lunch and dinner. Osaka Yodoyabashi "Koseien" Menu is cheap! It looks like it will fill you up. Appetizer: 200 yen Today, I came alone and ordered the Gyoza Set (1 serving of gyoza + draft beer) for 500 yen. The draft beer is also 500 yen, so basically the gyoza is free!

I went there for lunch. They have a system where you can serve yourself various dishes on a plate when you order ramen. Depending on how you serve it, it can feel like a good deal. The fried chicken had a tasty sweet and savory flavor. The ramen was just average. The restaurant had a cafeteria-like atmosphere.

Underground Midosuji Line Yodoyabashi Station, a Chinese restaurant located on the west side of the building B1. The sign is on the 1st floor, but it's a bit hard to find as it's not very visible, but it's a popular spot among local office workers. I wanted to eat until I was full, so I chose this place because "they serve a lot of food." The One Plate option includes all-you-can-eat toppings plus a regular-sized ramen for around 700-750 yen (depending on the type of ramen). As it was getting a bit hot, I chose the "cold ramen," made with whole wheat noodles that were chewy and satisfying. The One Plate also came with rice, salad, sweet and sour pork, and fried chicken (up to two pieces per person), leaving me both satisfied and full!

An emergency declaration is about to be issued soon, and on this day, it arrived. There were only three groups of customers, including us. I understand the measures to stop the infection, but it's also an emergency for us. The food, although there are no photos, was delicious. The gyoza, eaten with a sauce flavored with ginger, was tasty. The mapo tofu had a nice spicy kick to it. The fried rice was fluffy and well-seasoned. Overall, it may not be fancy, but it's quite delicious for a casual Chinese restaurant. I had bottled beer and shochu with hot water, and ended up feeling a bit tipsy and full, all for just around 3000 yen per person. The cost performance is not bad. It's a cool casual Chinese restaurant. Despite the complicated times, they are really trying hard.

I was invited by a colleague to have lunch at a restaurant near the office. They said there's a place where you can get a meal for only 500 yen. The self-serve bowl system allows you to put as much as you want on your plate in one go. You can have up to 2 pieces of fried chicken. Refills are available for an additional 250 yen. I chose fried rice, mapo tofu, mixed vegetables, Tianjin rice, and fried chicken. The food was quite delicious, and I was very satisfied with my lunch.

For my regular lunch visit, I love the ramen and side dish set for 700 yen. There are several types of ramen to choose from, and the side dishes also have a variety to choose from. You can select up to 3 packs for the set. The side dishes vary depending on the day, including options like rice, fried rice, fried chicken, stir-fries, etc. The ramen supposedly uses whole grain noodles, but honestly, I'm not sure (laughs). Overall, I am satisfied with the meal. For 700 yen, you can get a satisfyingly full stomach - maybe even too full!

The underground shop is quite spacious. When you order the ramen set for 700 yen here, in addition to ramen, they pile on a plate full of fried rice, side dishes, and more, making it a great deal. Due to COVID-19 measures, the plate has been replaced with packed dishes, and now you can choose any 3 items, which is still plenty. The ramen is delicious, slightly salty, and satisfying. I will definitely come back when I'm hungry again.

It was a rainy Wednesday, and I decided to have lunch nearby at Fushimi-cho 4-chome, at the Nissei Fushimi-cho Building basement floor where "Koseien" is located. It was my first time at this restaurant, and they had a system where you buy a food ticket as soon as you enter (which I'm not a fan of). If you don't have prior knowledge, you won't know the menu options like ramen set (650 yen) with various flavors like tonkotsu, chicken soy sauce, niboshi, umekobu, and kama tamago. I went with the safe choice of chicken soy sauce. After showing the food ticket to the staff, they directed me to a designated seat number. I then had to serve myself from a buffet-style selection of dishes onto a plate (only once, with a second round costing 250 yen). I chose fried chicken, mixed vegetables, and rolled omelette. I waited for my ramen to arrive at my seat. When it finally arrived, I said "Itadakimasu" and noticed others had piled their plates high with food (I'm glad I kept mine light). I was stuffed with carbs after the meal. Thank you for the meal. ---------------------------------------------- Sitting on the hood of my almost broken-down Volkswagen, you suddenly said we should talk a bit because it's too quiet, and you wanted to see the sea. The rain was a violet color, and even our T-shirts got wet. Wow wow Wednesday... (O. Eiichi)

A hidden gem of a cheap ramen set meal restaurant in the office district of Honcho. I visited after 7-8 years. I vaguely remembered it being around here... and as I walked relying on that memory, the quiet atmosphere remained unchanged (lol). I forgot what the menu was like 7-8 years ago, but I remembered that the cost performance was good, so I hoped it would stay the same... and it didn't disappoint with its pricing! Wow, a restaurant that's a friend to salarymen! In this day and age, price increases are becoming more common, but the ramen set meal is 650 yen! Ramen alone is 550 yen! That's cheap! The system here is first you choose the ramen from the following options (you buy a meal ticket): Tonkotsu, Chicken Shoyu, Niboshi, Triple (not sure what that is), Ume Kombu, Warm Tsukemen, Kamatama Ramen, Cold Tsukemen (limited time? Couldn't choose on this day), Cold Ramen (Hiyashi Chuka?). After handing the meal ticket to the staff, those who ordered a set meal get a plate with unlimited servings of Fried Rice, White Rice, Curry, Steamed Vegetables, Mapo Tofu, Hachimitsu, and Karaage all at once. Once you take it and sit down, you're not allowed to go back for more (refills cost an additional 250 yen). However, Karaage is limited to 2 pieces. Maybe because there were people in the past who ate a lot of Karaage? The flavor is quite bold, but if you think of it as a Chinese buffet, the cost performance is good, you get full, and no complaints. On this day, I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen, which had a slightly different flavor. It's a bit spicy because it has chili oil in it. With a variety of ramen types and good cost performance, this place seems handy for before payday. I hope they keep up the good work without changing the prices. Thank you for the meal.

There is a wonderful restaurant near the company! The dumplings, fried chicken, and stir-fried vegetables were delicious. The fried rice was especially amazing, my favorite! I will definitely go back.
