I found a 50 yen discount on the bean daifuku that I had been curious about for a while, so I decided to buy it. I opted for the yomogi bean daifuku (160 yen with the discount). The red bean paste is grainy with a low graininess level. The sweetness of the red bean paste is very high, the highest I've ever had in a bean daifuku. The size of the daifuku is quite big, bigger than average. The bean flavor is average. The standout feature of this bean daifuku is its sweetness! It is overly sweet and you may get tired of it towards the end. The taste of yomogi is noticeable, but somewhat overshadowed by the sweetness of the red bean paste. I wish there was a bit more graininess even with the grainy red bean paste. And the size is big. I think it's bigger than regular bean daifuku. The 299 calories are justified by this size and sweetness. It's quite shocking that it has about 300 calories. If it wasn't for the 50 yen discount, I would rate it a 2.5. But since it was discounted, I would give it a 2.9. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

I bought mentaiko France and apple potato. It was full of mentaiko. It's a menu that is typical of Fukuoka. The mentaiko was delicious. The apple potato looked familiar. Oh, that's right, it's similar to the one I bought at Vi de France. The taste is the same too. They must be from the same chain of stores. (^-^;

It is located in Hakata Station, a bit away from the main JR and subway platforms and souvenir shops, towards the Amu Plaza and Yodobashi Camera area. Surprisingly, it is a hidden gem that opens early in the morning, making it convenient. There is also a cafe space where you can have breakfast. This time, I took out some bread.
- Salted Butter French Bread (140 yen): The saltiness and butter flavor are not overpowering, creating a classic salt bread with a taste that doesn't get boring.
- Honey Butter Bread (130 yen): The sweetness of honey is subtle and complements the saltiness of butter. Surprisingly light and fluffy.
They also offer sandwiches, sweets, and overall, the prices are reasonable. I have also used the cafe, and it is a comfortable place to spend time alone.

I found a branch of V de France while strolling around. It's located in a corner of the station, so it's surprisingly a hidden gem. I ordered toast, yogurt, and hot coffee for breakfast. The coffee was easy to drink as always, and the toast was fluffy and delicious, even though it was my first time trying it.

Fukuoka Day 2. In preparation for the morning commute, I walked to Hakata Station. Delifrance is a bakery I had been wanting to try, and this time I selected the salt French bread and the three-color sandwich. I also ordered an iced coffee. The salt French bread was soft and not too crispy, with a nice buttery flavor and a hint of salt. The three-color sandwich had egg salad, tomato, and tuna salad, all on soft bread that complemented the fillings well. The iced coffee had a slightly strong acidity, but it wasn't too bothersome.

There is a convenient shop about 5 minutes from the ticket gate at Hakata Station. Upon seeing the melon bread advertisement at the entrance, I unconsciously walked into the store. They have a variety of cute-looking breads. The Mask Melon Bread (260 yen) has a great melon scent and the melon cream is delicious. The Seasoned Soft-Boiled Egg Sandwich (390 yen) has a matured taste like the seasoned egg in ramen, and the portion was satisfying. The Apple Pie (290 yen) contains a whole apple and was simply delicious.

Delifrance is truly not to be underestimated. Every time I stop by, I see new faces lined up that I've never seen before. Today, as I casually passed by, I spotted a new product that would make red bean paste lovers drool - Anpan made with premium quality Shumoku red beans! While the Elimo variety dominates in Kyushu's Anpan, it's wonderful to encounter Shumoku red beans in a station store like this - what a lovely encounter! Without hesitation, I purchased both the chunky red bean paste and smooth red bean paste. The chunky red bean paste bread had black sesame seeds on top. The dough was of a Danish type and pleasantly moist. The red bean paste was generously stuffed inside, meeting my expectations! Originally, the red beans had a strong red color, so the red bean paste also had a slightly lighter color. Perhaps due to proper heating, it had a purplish hue and looked very elegant. The Danish dough quickly melted in my mouth, transferring the strong sweetness and fragrance of the Shumoku red bean paste to my taste buds like lightning. A doughy texture would have left the dough lingering in the mouth, preventing the pure flavor of the Shumoku beans from being fully appreciated. Thanks to its mille-feuille style, you can instantly taste the red bean paste in this Anpan specially made for the red bean paste. Both the chunky and smooth red bean pastes showcased the excellence of Shumoku beans to the fullest. I'll definitely go buy more tomorrow! I have to enjoy it before it runs out. It's not often that you come across Shumoku red beans like this here. Bon appétit!

I just happened to peek inside, just because last time I bought an anpan, I flattened it out a bit, so I was a little disappointed... Then I saw an anpan I had never seen before - Hakata Anpan (red bean paste & whipped cream). There was no reason not to buy it. There was a luxurious petit bread nearby that caught my eye, but I couldn't afford to splurge on anything other than anpan due to my stomach and calorie intake, so I passed on it. Anyway, Hakata Anpan - with a crispy brown color and a slightly assertive whipped cream, it was super cute. The texture was soft, but there wasn't much of a pop, so it didn't seem like it had been out of the oven for that long. The bottom was gently warm. Oh, you adorable thing! I already knew how delicious the red bean paste here is, so my salivary glands were in full swing even before I ate it. The whipped cream was meltingly smooth and looked really delicious. The soft bread dough and the meltingly sweet whipped cream in my mouth, followed by the rich sweetness of the red bean paste - oh, so delicious! I had already eaten four anpan today, but I really, really enjoyed this fifth one! Thank you for the meal! I will definitely buy and eat it again!

There are multiple bakeries within Hakata Station, but this place, Delifrance, is more suited for locals commuting or students passing by, giving it a hidden gem vibe. Tourists and business travelers tend to go to the fancier bakeries near the Hakata exit or ticket gates. So, here, Delifrance, is calm and has a nice atmosphere. I was looking for an anpan, and they had a red bean paste anpan with the Hokkaido part filled in. It seemed like there were no other unique anpan options, so I chose this one. For lunch today, I had the red bean paste anpan with red beans instead of Hokkaido beans. When I took it out of the bag, it was oddly misshapen, probably due to being squished in my bag. The red bean paste was also squished, so it felt a bit empty. The black sesame seeds on top somehow had an incredible stickiness and didn't fall off at all. The amazing thing about this anpan was the stickiness of the black sesame seeds. Of course, the anpan itself was very delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I sometimes buy bread ^ ^ Raisin rolls, 4 pieces for 110 yen, which is cheap! They are fluffy and delicious. This time, I was drawn to the rich banana juice and decided to eat in.

Today, I went to Onojo for the JR Kyushu Walking event. Since it seemed difficult to have breakfast there, I got off at Hakata Station. The second stop was at Delifrance, located on the way to Yodobashi Camera through the Ichibinomichi street from Chikushiguchi. Although it is primarily a bakery, they also have a spacious seating area where they serve coffee brewed with a siphon. I decided to try their sandwich made with a simple French mini ficelle bread, filled with tuna. The coffee was hot and strong, and the tuna was creamy while the bread was soft and delicious. The breakfast options are all priced at 432 yen, which is quite reasonable for the location and quality. After breakfast time, you can also order a custom-made sandwich where you can choose your bread and fillings like at Subway. Looking forward to trying that next time. Now, it's time to start walking!

Hakata Station stroll ~ I was tired from shopping, so I stopped here for tea. I found a bread that is similar to the one at Vid France (almost the same)! When I looked it up, I found out that it's from the same group of shops. The cafe has a European concept and serves ordered sandwiches. The interior has a calm atmosphere with a tea color scheme, but since it's an open cafe, it can get a bit noisy. However, after being there for 5 minutes, I didn't mind the noise anymore. The seating is limited. I ordered: - Iced tea (260 yen) - Iced coffee (260 yen) My mother wanted something sweet, so we got an apple pie (157 yen). This cafe might be a must-visit for those who use Hakata Station every day. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I stopped by the cafe at Yodobashi Camera on my way back from buying my son's Christmas present. I had used their eat-in service with my family before, and we had ordered sandwiches. I remember that we could choose the fillings and the type of bread we wanted, so we could enjoy our own favorite sandwiches. This time, I didn't have the sandwiches, but instead bought a few different types of bread for takeout. I purchased Cheese Cake Croissant (180 yen), Orange Croissant (141 yen), Honey & Cheese (185 yen), and Red Bean Croissant (150 yen). According to my wife, the Orange Croissant was the most delicious. Since I often go to Yodobashi, I'm sure I'll have the opportunity to visit this cafe again in the future.

I had a job in Hakata Station South in the morning. I had some time to spare, so I had breakfast at "Delifrance". There are several options, all priced at 432 yen. However, the hot dog set and sandwich set were sold out... So, I had the toast set instead. It came with salad, boiled egg, and coffee. The place was clean and relaxing. Although it might not be allowed, I could pick up the Wi-Fi from the nearby Seven-Eleven. So, I ended up staying a little longer. Now, time to get to work...

<August 2015> Lunch for today was takeout from the company cafeteria. For sandwich orders, you place them at the counter, while for other breads, you can pick them up with a tray. I decided to try the salted bread since there was a huge pile of them (120 yen). I also got an avocado barbecue chicken sandwich (300 yen), which was made Subway-style. However, the efficiency was better at Subway. The sauce was only poured in one spot, so it didn't spread evenly throughout the sandwich, making it a bit disappointing. Also, when there were people ordering sandwiches and others buying bread at the same time, the cashier got a bit congested, creating a slightly awkward situation. I'm curious about the other bread options, so I'll definitely go back to try them out.

Delifrance Hakata Store (Fukuoka City) 2015/4/29 2015/5/1 Miyazaki Prefecture A food shop outside of Miyazaki Prefecture. Share the CLIP! Yesterday 2015.04.28 I drank too much, so in the morning I looked for a light meal and a cafe with few people, wandering around Hakata Station and found Delifrance Hakata Store. Sponsored Links (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I ordered a morning set for 400 yen. I ordered the set egg sandwich. It was 400 yen. I was surprised that you can choose the type of bread. This time, I think it was Rustic Olive. It was a chewy French bread mixed with basil and olives. There were no outlets on the table. Wi-Fi connected. Hakata Station has free Wi-Fi. Free public wireless LAN service "FukuokaCityWi-Fi" It was delicious. There was a bakery and a cafe together. That's why I could choose the bread for the egg sandwich. 2015.04.29

Today, I went on a trip to Fukuoka City. Since I ended up coming back late, I decided to have dinner on the Shinkansen. I thought about getting a bento box, but if it's for takeout, maybe some bread would be good. Alright, I'll head to "Delifrance" at Hakata Deitos, which I've been wanting to try for a while. I arrived around 7:10 PM. This place is known for its order sandwiches, and they also have a cafe space. Since my Shinkansen time is approaching, I chose from the pre-made bread selection. Now, what should I eat? It's getting late, so the bread options are limited. My favorite red bean paste bun seems to be unavailable. I decided to try the hearty curry bread, croquette bread, and scone (chocolate). Oh, the curry bread, despite its promising size, had a lot of air pockets, a bit disappointing. The crispy dough and spiciness were decent. The croquette bread had a nice sweet potato flavor and tasty sauce. The scone had a crumbly texture, with a good balance of chocolate sweetness and bitterness. Hmm, delicious, delicious. I finished with a cup of tea, feeling happily satisfied. Eating bread like this quickly on the Shinkansen is also nice. I'll visit again if I get the chance. Thank you for the meal.
