I admit I may have eaten too much, but since I was there, I decided to give it a try. I handed over my breakfast ticket and secured a seat first. The menu here mainly consists of Western dishes with a wide variety. Since it was past the peak time, I took my time choosing. I had sausages, scrambled eggs, cherry tomatoes, meatballs, croquettes, and fried chicken. I also tried a combination of chicken and beef curry. For dessert, I had plain yogurt. There were other dishes I wanted to try, but I couldn't eat more without feeling too full. The drink menu was extensive, but I chose the green bottle of Perrier sparkling water. It was ice-cold and had a refreshing and sharp taste. It was really good. Although there are idle times due to not being open all day, you can still enjoy lunch and dinner there. The restaurant has a chic and luxurious atmosphere, with high ceilings and spacious seating. Having a hotel breakfast once in a while is a nice experience.

This was the best place I've been to recently! It's always 1500 yen! If you go 10 times, you get a free meal. The food is delicious, especially the complimentary beef at the beginning. The chicken was also incredibly tasty! I don't want to tell anyone about this place because it's such a great value. High recommendation!

I had some business at the legal affairs bureau, so I got off the urban expressway at Tenjin North and drove a bit to this hotel. However, the coin parking was full! It's tough to find parking on a weekday at noon. I ended up parking at a coin parking about 100m away and walked to the hotel. Unlike recent business hotels, this one has a spacious lobby with a buffet in the back. The variety of dishes may not be extensive, but the quality is good. For the price in Tenjin North, it's quite decent. This is the place to stay when going to the legal affairs bureau (which is only every few years, haha).

On the first floor of Ark Hotel Royal Hakata Tenjin, there is a restaurant. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had breakfast here two days in a row. It was my third and sixth meal in Hakata. They offer a variety of dishes such as salad, Japanese, Western, and curry, and they slightly changed the menu between the first and second day, so I didn't get tired of it. (Actually, I had Hakata ramen for three consecutive meals, so by the morning of the third day, my stomach was clearly tired, and the grated radish was greatly appreciated). Also, the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) was served in small dishes and I had a lot of it with rice. However, when compared to the souvenir mentaiko sold at the airport, the quality seemed quite low. I found this restaurant while wandering around on a Sunday looking for a lunch spot. I caught a glimpse of the words "lunch buffet" in front of the hotel. I was really curious about it and wondered, "How much is it?" I couldn't find the price list anywhere. So, I asked the restaurant directly, and to my surprise, even though it's a hotel in the Tenjin area, it was a bit tucked away, maybe that's why. The lunch buffet was 1260 yen! Σ(=゜ω゜=;) Seriously!? I had to go! So, I had lunch here. It was full, but they said a table would be available in about 15 minutes. After a quick 15 minutes, I got a seat. The number of seats wasn't that many, and maybe because there were group customers (it didn't seem to be a buffet for them), there were hardly any crowds in front of the food. It's a situation that's quite nice when you're going for a buffet. You might doubt, "Is it not that great?" but no! There were about 40 types of dishes, and each dish was delicious. I was surprised because I didn't have high expectations for a hotel buffet (when I stayed at the Sheraton in Miyazaki, the breakfast buffet was just okay). Compared to restaurants that mainly offer buffets (like Shokuzai Kenbi Nonobudou in Tenjin Imaz store), the variety here is less, but for this price, I thought the selection was quite good. It was a 5-minute walk from Tenjin Station to the restaurant. I arrived around 1:30 pm for a late lunch, parked my car at a nearby parking lot, and visited the restaurant. They offered a buffet style meal, so I decided to try a little bit of everything and if it was delicious, I would go back for more. I particularly enjoyed the steak cooked right in front of me. The tonkatsu had a crispy coating and was delicious. I even had dessert and left feeling full. By 2 pm, they started clearing away the buffet, so I recommend arriving before 1 pm.
