The Obisori Skewer and the Yuzu-flavored Supreme Chicken Skewer were also highlights of the meal. It's a regular yakitori restaurant with a few sister stores nearby. There are counter and table seating, but the space is not very big. The staff is somewhat mediocre. The taste is average. They offer over 10 types of craft beer for comparison. Prices are average. It's great that they allow Sunday afternoon drinking. Since it's popular, reservations are necessary.

On Saturday at noon, I visited "Hete Ichi" in Daimyo. They open at 12 o'clock and many people had reservations (including us), so it quickly became almost full. First, we ordered drinks... They offered a 1-hour all-you-can-drink option for alcohol for 1100 yen, and soft drinks for 600 yen. I chose the soft drink option. The cheapest drink was 350 yen for two cups of oolong tea, so it was a good deal. My husband ordered a beer instead of the all-you-can-drink option. We also ordered potato salad as an appetizer. The portion was generous and the taste was rich and delicious. Then the skewers arrived... They were all juicy and delicious! When the skewers arrived, they also brought out cabbage which was free for refills. It was like a slightly pickled cabbage. My husband wanted to try the sesame mackerel, but it wasn't available that day, so he had horse sashimi instead. He looked so happy eating it. Thank you for the delicious lunch. Popular yakitori restaurant in a famous area. I usually go to places where you can see the whole restaurant, but this one is so big that the back is unknown. There are also two other affiliated stores nearby. This time, I made a reservation at the counter of the main store for the first time. The photos are limited, but it's a gourd. I've never eaten it before, but it's small, without any peculiar taste, and delicious. I also ordered yakitori. Even though it's crowded, the food comes out quickly! The prices are a bit high, maybe due to the location? Is this normal? When you're having trouble finding a restaurant, this is the place to go. I was satisfied with the impeccable service and taste.

I visited the restaurant "Honkaku Yakitori Ooimae Hete Ichi" in Daimyo not too long ago. They have several affiliated stores nearby, where you can enjoy yakitori and day drinking from lunchtime. In addition to yakitori, they also offer fresh fish and other specialty dishes. The white liver pate I had last time was delicious and went well with the drinks. The yakitori was all cooked very carefully and was very tasty. During my visit, they had a great lunchtime all-you-can-drink deal. I also tried the hand-kneaded tsukune with egg yolk, which was delicious just like last time. The service from the staff was excellent, and it was a fun day of drinking. First of all, it's very crowded and reservations are necessary even on weekdays. The staff is very polite and the atmosphere is great. I was surprised to find out that the Fukuoka negima doesn't actually use green onions, but regular onions instead. The onions are tasty, but I might prefer the green onions. The menu at this yakitori restaurant is a bit limited, I wish there were more options for different cuts of meat with salt or sauce. The potato salad is recommended, very creamy with mashed potatoes. I also tried sesame mackerel for the first time, it had a strong sesame flavor and was delicious. The drinks were good too, but the glasses were small so it ended up being quite expensive.

I was looking for a place where I could drink with my friends early in the day and unfortunately Hete-san was full when we arrived. We went quite early, but it's a popular place as expected. I recommend making a reservation before going. The shrimp was delicious and so fresh, and the tsukune was satisfyingly filling. They also offer a la carte all-you-can-drink, which was convenient.

I was able to make a reservation during the early hours after it opened, and the staff's service was excellent. Every dish was delicious, especially the tsukune (chicken meatballs) which I highly recommend trying. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I visited the second restaurant. It's a popular place that is hard to get into, but thanks to Corona, I was able to get in. The yakitori they serve from the appetizer is famous and really delicious. No matter what you order, the yakitori is amazing. The staff are also very friendly and cheerful, which should make this place even more popular.

This time, I went to Tori to To Daimei Hetehonten located at 1-10-6 Daimei, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City. They are open until 3 am, which is very convenient. The entrance with glass windows gives an open feeling. Inside, there are counter seats and table seats. The wall decorated with chickens is impressive. The restaurant was almost full. We started with a toast with draft beer! We ordered a platter of assorted chicken sashimi for 1200 yen, sesame mackerel, tsukune for 350 yen, Nagato Akadori, asparagus rolls, and more. The staff's energetic and friendly service was also great. It's not just about skewers, but the variety of the menu is also good. The skewers were neatly prepared. When I had a work event in Fukuoka, I used this place for our second party. It's a izakaya called Hetesan, specializing in yakitori and chicken dishes! The interior is quite tight and small. The menu is very reasonable. Since it was a second party, we didn't order much, but the sesame mackerel, horse sashimi, and chicken sashimi were delicious. There were also many unique original drinks. The service from the staff was good, so I would like to try more dishes next time. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I went to a drinking party with my former colleagues from the company! I used to come here often because I love the chicken liver sashimi, but they haven't been serving it lately, so I've been staying away... Personally, I really liked the combination of chicken skin senbei and liver miso, which was unusual and tasty! The unique local chicken salted fish roe... I didn't quite like it haha, maybe it didn't need to be made into a salted fish roe style... As for the carbonated chicken with a peculiar name, I couldn't really tell the difference. (I forgot to ask why it's called "carbonated chicken"...). If only they brought back the liver sashimi, it would be perfect... I wonder if it will ever make a comeback...? In search of a new liver sashimi to replace it, I will continue my journey of wandering through izakayas for drinks... haha.

The price per skewer was a bit high, but the large cuts of chicken were delicious regardless of the part. We especially enjoyed the white liver!
